That hasn’t happened to me, but it usually happens, and not only when gambling. Many people say that they are not going to drink again when they have a huge hangover, and the weekend after they drink even more.
The way you express it, it seems to me that it hasn’t been a huge problem for you (yet?), but if it is, or if it becomes, try to leave gambling forever. Even if it’s not a big problem now, I would consider looking for help.
For people who have problems with gambling the solution is not to gamble any more.
The last statement actually sums it up. The fact that the OP is not seeing any problem with losing even after that particular moment makes it more like he actually cannot just shift the idea of not gambling from his head but can still accept the idea of losing.
As long as he is still finding a way to control himself and he realizes he is going to keep losing and he is cool with that, then I do not see any problem like you said at all for him anyway. I guess when it came to my case and I did not like the idea of losing, I had to limit it.
It is normal if we had the wrong perception about gambling in the first place. If we actually gambled to want to make money, yes, we would obviously think of quitting since we are not getting what we want but if we already knew the chances of losing was high right from the onset and you still gambled anyway, then we will rather just be seeing it as fun anytime we gamble and not consider quitting. Still, it is easier said than done right ?
