In my opinion, these are the best steps to quit gambling, especially after a great loss:

1- Accept the truth (What's happening to you) , and just deal with it:
When you lose a lot of money then you must accept this loss, and overcome it, without  blaming yourself or something else, because that does not change anything.
Then, you must deal with,  by compensating the loss, you can even start a new business field.

2- Control yourself:
The most essential thing is how to control yourself in difficult situations, and it will be through controlling your feelings or internal conflict, Such as, the greed and false hope.
These are was adviseable those gamblers do not stop gambling even how many losses they have, accepting the reality if you are getting lose do not chase your lose in gambling or else it may turn you nothing if you let gamblings control you besides you are the one who controlled gambling. It is easy to leave if you think that you not lucky enough in gambling or you always get a loss on it.

leaving a gamble is not so easy, the easy thing is to rest or pause for a moment. You have to control yourself very well if you want to leave the gamble forever, if it just stops for a day or two, it's not a difficult thing to do. Gambling should be in control, not you controlled by gambling.
That is exactly how it ought to be, pausing and going for a walk to take the pressure off. I have heard it said time and again, that the longer one stays playing same games, the more likely the system catches up with the next move by the player. There should be a time to let go or retreat, so one can still fight again tomorrow!

Its really hard to quit gambling to some people because they used to live with it. I know a lot of people are trying to do it but failed to do so, we must control ourselves so we will not be broke in the long run. Start in a little things and you will succeed on that.

I've never thought that I should quit indefinitely, just because I've never really spent more than I was willing to lose.
But I have taken extended breaks from gambling, especially when I've last a couple of sessions in a row.

It's just good measure to take a break from time to time and by that I mean a couple of weeks or months even.

Make gambling as a game of fun so when you lose you don’t care because you came their for fun and you are well aware about the risk. Don’t make a decision that will broke yourself in the long run, quit gambling if you are thinking easy money, accept it when you lose in gambling and have a break don’t wait for your family to quit on you before you make a good decision.

But disappointment will be very close to every gambler, regret and anxiety that only temporarily affects after you lose a lot of money does not guarantee people to stop 100%, after having enough money in mind they will be optimistic to jump back in gambling and to earn a lot of profits every time I'm gambling, I think it's someone's character who can spin continuously because of the same mistakes over and over and back and forth over and over again, but I never feel it once I feel after getting big losses and never again to plunge into the gambling world until the moment this, better stop to not repeat the same problem as that.
These things are common on gambling but we cant really resist on playing once again because emotion of anger and discourage would be wiped out in the next day and we think once again that we might be lucky this time and repeat the same process and if we win then it will boost up even more confidence on playing gambling once again and those loses and anger will be forgotten and the cycle continues as long the motive on playing gambling is present.

Honestly, It is difficult for someone to get away from gambling, especially when he/she is addicted with that field, And unfortunately this is common in the majority of gamblers and could not even control themselves or their feelings after every major loss or even a huge gain. Also this leads to the continuation of losses, then, At that point, the gambler will have many debts.

do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy
I assume that is a sign of gambling addiction. You are addicted to gambling. A guilty pleasure with unhealthy obsession. But the good thing is you are realizing this and you still have a chance to quit gambling. You should start my limiting yourself when gambling. Keep reminding yourself that you are addicted and you need to stop or you will end up being a disaster.

You should quit if you take it so seriously.
If you take it seriously it means that you are betting for more then just having fun, but you are actually betting money in order to win and gain more money and you are getting mad if you lose.

I would suggest you to take a break for a while until and if you decide to bet after the break then just do it on games that you find interesting and don't bet on random games, it may make you attracted.

Hmm. For those who have been experiencing this, I guess you really need to sit yourself down and ask exactly why you have been gambling.

One fact with gambling is you are going to be losing most of the time, and if you cannot accept that idea in your head right from the start, you are always going to be feeling this way and if you keep feeling this way and you keep coming back, then it is like you are already tending towards addiction even if y'all do not like the sound of that.

Simply put: The day you do not like what is going on with your pocket, you feel like quitting when you lose, but keep seeing yourself back while losing more, you are beginning to get into that dark zone that is always hard to come out from. (That is just how I see it).

It happens to me also. What astounds me is that gambling is really a game of chance where you could really earn money the easy way but the thing is that the risk involved is high so that it makes you think that you never want to do it again and other days would still do it because you have been used to it. So I just think that it's best to have gambling days but not all the time And not a source of income.

Sounds funny but that is the same feeling that I've got before, each time I lose decent amount of money betting with my favorite team I keep
assuring myself that I won't play again, but after holding some money again I can't control the feelings to check out the odds and see those
important factors that will affect the next game that I'm aiming to play as I seen another good opportunity to win back those loses that I've
got from  my previous bets.

I have this experience in many time and I think it's normal to have this feeling but we still need to control our mind and if we cannot control then like you said, we can lose much money. I think you need to learn about leave the gambling places after you lose the money and never thinking to comeback again in that day. maybe you can comeback in the other day and try your luck in other games.

It's a normal feeling, I often experience like that. But when it's just defeat, if I win in gambling I don't think about it. My focus is gambling, betting and winning bets. When we lose in gambling, what we feel is regret and this suggestion will bring our feelings to end what we have lost. But for a gambler, we can't make our hearts calm when havinga a capital, our brain will focus on gambling and win it. We do not stop gambling if we have money, that's what I feel.

I think that happened to most of the people, but it kind of dangerous, if that person got that kind of mindset, it can be leading to addiction, after losing the gambler will feel regret and hopeless so the gambler quit, but after a while he will want to start from new again in the next day, I ever experienced that kind of feeling but I stop for a month, and do some thinking and I back to gamble again, gambling is too fun to let go

If you really had to start an entire thread dedicated to your thoughts, then I think we all know what the best decision for you would be.
It's not a bad thing to quit gambling especially after too many loses.
For one, you will not have as much stress in your life, and secondly you will probably have more money.
Consider it a win/win situation as you walk away.
