Gambling shouldn't be main source of income, its something we do for enjoying, thrill, excitement, and sometimes we get rewarded if we have done everything in the right way. If make mistakes we pay them with lost money. Gambling isn't for everyone, for some its better to quit in time then to spend time and money on something where they can't succeed in any way.

Sometimes human can be very greed because it's their nature and it's always exist.
All we can do is make sure that you've fully support the gambler as much as you could and let they decide whenever the choice they made.
Family support also effect on gambling desperate recovery !

I've never thought that I should quit indefinitely, just because I've never really spent more than I was willing to lose.
But I have taken extended breaks from gambling, especially when I've last a couple of sessions in a row.

It's just good measure to take a break from time to time and by that I mean a couple of weeks or months even.
Listen, brother we always takes from work in two different conditions. Firstly, either we are so much aware of our loss coming out there or we are really tired of doing so great in a row. Like you have said, these loss is just because of the reason that gambling isn’t the source of income. People have disconnected it and therefore when they loss every session they just make lame excuses of taking breaks.

Sometimes we take a break to save more money, its good to chill out sometimes, fill bankroll and only than to have a fresh start. Maybe its hard to understand but its good to take breaks when you lose but its good to make the breaks when you win too. Making breaks is good for mind clearing, in gambling its important to have that, to be able to think and calculate.

do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy
Of course, I think it was a normal response of our mind and instint, because we lose we are tend to get back all of our lose buy trying it again, but we didnt notice sometimes that it was getting all our money. If you cant control yourself in gambling you will never win. Why? Because even if you win you will continue doing it and praying that to earn more or bigger than what you already get.

It does happen in the opposite condition as well, means you will tell yourself to stop after a good winning to keep the winning for other thing but in the next day you will come back because you think you will get more winnings. It is normal situation IMO, as I experienced it many times already although I do not feel that I'm addicted because I still able to control my own limit which is the most important thing for me.

Good point on applying it to the other conditions as well. People experiences sadness/grief when they lose a lot in gambling but you can also apply the same aspect when they started winning big. Either way, the outcome on both scenarios are very evident and obvious. That is, if you don't have control over your gambling desires, you will end up being controlled by it and will surely still gamble. People will still be addicted to it.

Well, it doesn't really matter as long as you know what you're doing and it doesn't affect your daily life with the ability to function effectively as an individual.

Most of the time after losing you can just think quiting Then say never comeback. But I always go back. It's really hard to quit. But I just recognize it's not good when I lose.
When one loses game in gambling, due to the anger of losing that game, he quickly makes a decision that he will never come back for gambling again due to exhausted mind but he calms down and thinks for a while for gambling, he goes again for gambling because he thinks gambling as a profitable thing. If you don’t want to lose, you should give more time to gambling.

Best feeling ever when I'm butt hurt and I keep on losing, I'm telling to my mind that I'll stop and nothing is happening good so I have to quit forever. But I don't know when I'm sitting on my computer, I can't remove the casino's that are bookmarked on my browser so the temptation is there and I'm eating my words for saying that I have to quit forever but later on I just found myself playing dice.  Grin
Silly me.

You are just like most of us, a normal person. People get attached to things and can't quit. I have the same feeling with online games that I keep losing at and still can't uninstall. Or with that alcohol that I sometimes drink too much of.
Gambling is a typical addiction, a habit that we want to remove from our memory, but can't.
You said online games? Oh well I'm struggling right now on my favorite game and I kept losing. These things are serious and it is totally addiction and the same with gambling. My favorite game dice and online game are all related to gambling so when I'm butt hurt I keep on doing it repetitively, I just can't help myself.

it must be like that, to calm yourself from losing continuously, and clear your mind, while thinking of a good strategy for the future in order not to get defeat again continuously
To think clearly is my problem, when I'm in such situations I can't help but to think rapidly even its out of this world and loses my control.

Yes I did experience a lot of that before, every time I lose a game I always tell myself I would stop and quit. And then when I wake up the next day, I would say to myself, today is another day and maybe I am lucky today so I try my luck again in gambling thinking I could win back my losses from the previous day only to find out losing more. But eventually I did stop and quit gambling, although I wouldn't say quit forever because there are times I want to gamble but not the same as before.

Well, I do have experienced a lot before or let say a little of now. Given that I used to be an addict in this industry, I come to a point in which I almost lost everything and decided to quit or change. However, Upon recieving my supposed money alloted for my expenses, I did chase my loses and I ended up the same spot. It just so happen that I was too stuborn to make the same mistake twice.

That is because you are now addicted to gambling that's why you have the hard time give up gambling. But if I were you I will give up gambling as soon as possible because it will never made you rich. A gambler who don't have limitations will always be a loser

I am so guilty with this, everytime I lose in the game I would say that I would never come back and quit gambling for good but sadly I can't keep my words . And now straight in a week that I am not lucky maybe I will lay low again for a while and look for another things or option to make myself busy.
Whether or not it's only been a few days or a few months, if you have tried gambling and experienced winning, then it's definitely going to be a thing on your mind that you are going to reminded of that win. It's easy to win with that but really risky,  it's your choice to deposit or gamble.

Focus on the things that is more important to you, if are already addict in gambling seek for someone to help you quit in gambling. Its hard in the first attempt but you can survive on that for sure. Gambling will make you broke in the end of the day so better to quit early before its too late.
I've been thinking of that couple of times mate. Quitting in gambling is really hard for me to do so especially when I just live where gambling near to my place at this time I can say I am not yet addicted to it because I can still  control myself (sometimes)  not to gamble for a while and I knew my limits especially when I observed that I am not really lucky that day.

This is what I am talking about when one is stuck on an infinite loop, wherein you are trapped into the illusion of recovering your losses through gambling. Meaning, the cycle of gambling is never ending. When someone wins in gambling, they tend to gamble more and if they lost they gamble AGAIN hoping that they could recover their losses in a similar manner. Your attitude towards losing lacks self-discipline and control as you do not know WHEN and HOW to stop.

I do not blame you though, as it may be really difficult to exalt yourself from this addiction but you need to fathom that gambling will only make your situation a lot worse from before. Consider your losses as something that cannot be regained and move-on to a next chapter in your book.

Most people who have lost a lot in gambling plan to quit after playing. However, that is one of the magic of gambling, once you started and enjoyed playing it, you will surely come back and play again, even if you know that you will end up losing. Hoping to win some and chasing after you losses sometime result to further lose. So, you should control your greed and play with moderation.
Yes addiction in gambling is not a good think, once you become addicted to gambling then it become difficult to stop playing gambling, therefore i think that you should try to quit gambling before becoming addicted in gambling, i think some people when the lose money decided to quit gambling but in fact they only become able to quit it for few days and after that they once again start playing gambling.
Quitting earlier is one of the common mistake of a gambler on where they are already aware that they are losing out too much money and gradually addicted towards it but they do still decide to proceed because they do still believe on making easy money thru gambling. I cant blame them since its their own decision why they do reach out such state. Quiting will only be mind if you haven't anymore money into your pocket but if you have still funds left thinking into these things isn't there for sure.

Quitting in gambling is a lot harder than it sounds. It requires a mature and strong mental attitude since as you depart from your addiction, the though of going back kicks in and tempts you to continue it. Sometimes, intervention is the formula towards the cure for addiction.

Bitcoin FTW!
Addiction isn't easy to quit, and I've personally experienced this in the past. What really helped me stop thoughtlessly gambling was the realization that there were much better options for making money outside of gambling out there. Loaning to exchanges and users (with collateral), and even investing in the bankrolls of casinos are essentially foolproof (but don't put all your eggs in one basket), and though they only give out small percentages in profit monthly, the real bright side of these investments is that there's very little risk to them.

I still gamble today, and that's one of the things people should realise about gambling today, too- quitting an addiction doesn't mean you have to completely stop doing something. I still set aside a few dollars for gambling weekly. Sometimes I win, sometimes not, but the important thing is to not throw all your money into the hole that is gambling. I primarily gamble for the thrill and not for a profit, though it does feel good when I get a sizable win.

What you're experiencing is a normal symptom observed in many gambler's, it's a common trait that you'll always find in the gambler species.

There is a scientific reason I feel, after every loss our neurons are triggered with sadness and guilt, but as the moment passes we realise that we can overcome our loss and win big, that's how a gambler mind is wired, it also a typical herd mentality as we observe every one doing it, hence we do it to. I would say it's pretty normal to experience this, don't over think about it.
