I doubt that this will happen in the Philippines. Right now, this seems to be impossible because of the negative news regarding crypto right now, this might affect for that to happen. Also, there are so many things to consider first and this will only happen if the government will really adopt crypto.

I've seen stores that accept crypto in the Philippines but I am afraid to use it, but there also cafe's and a lot more.

To be able to adopt ethereum and other cryptocurrency, the government of the country must give the permission first.
If the government in philippines doesn't prohibit cryptocurrency as a payment system, then someday your country will adopt crypto.

Imagine if COVID-19 pandemic is no more and having travel plans to South Korea, we could visit this beach and pay Ethereum for entrance fee, etc. I just wish that this is not going to be the only beach resort to adopt Ethereum for payments.

Here in the Philippines, there are so many beaches and hidden paradise here. I just hope that one day these beaches around the world are going to adopt Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies.
I think that South korea is (as usual) one of the leader countries when it comes to crypto industry.
in my opinion the world will end up accepting this revolutionary finance (mostly after this pandemic that showed us the digitization is the future)

now if you want to pay for the entrance to the beach using ETH then you will pay more money for the commission if you want your money to come quickly. but if you put a small commission, they will get tired of waiting for the cryptocurrency to come to their wallet

Sad true. But it also be depends from how the beach owner understand the system, if they are well aware to that they will let the customer to know the implemented fees.
From that point, it will be a the customer's decision whether to continue using this crypto or use other payment process.
The good thing here is the owner are allowing ETH good start for adoptions.

Good news for the crypto enthusiasts, do they only accepts ethereum? Or bitcoin as well!

In future we can see many of those, its just the beginnings of crypto payment era and it helps the people to realize we can spend cryptos on legal things as well.

Good Question, as upon reading the article everything there is just ETH the article highlighted the acceptance of this coin around Haeundae-gu beach.

The government  will provide $400M blockchain fund, though still in talk but that's a good start for people around especially those who loves beaches.

We all hope that in this coming future not just ETH but more known alts will be available for transacting,
a cashless feature that will emerge crypto
to the economy of each countries.

If it is a high class resort then people won't mind high gas fees for the transaction because at the moment ethereum blockchain is highly congested which increases the gas fee as 275 so for anyone who cares about every bucks will go for the debit or credit cards since they are paying more when it comes to crypto payment.

This is yet another good news not just for Ethereum but for the entire crypto space, as it shows crypto is still being regarded as something worthwhile, something with good utility. Although no one can really say if other beaches will be bold enough to adopt Ethereum or any other desired cryptocurrencies but this particular beach has shown that it is inline with what the future holds for everyone. Lastly, I believe it is only time that will tell, because with the rate crypto is gaining recognition from different sectors and platforms it proves the future is bright.

The more such places where you can pay with cryptocurrency, the more opportunities for people to become familiar with the possibilities of applying new technologies in everyday life. For many, this is all new, and everything new is very attractive.

This is just a single resort while with the use of travala or other crypto based travel and booking apps you can pay with crypto at thousands of locations including hotels, resorts and motels.

God to know there are businesses accepting ETH.
Beach in countries with freezing temperatures isn't really appealing, I don't know if beaches in Korea but it seem a cold place. It's the beaches in Thailand, Malaysia, Hawaii, Indonesia, and the Philippines and the countries along the equator that has warm beaches that is worth paying ETH.

This is great so we have found yet another use case for cryptocurrencies and this is just the start we will keep on hearing such news more and more as world is now encouraging to go cashless and use digital currencies for payments in post pandemic scenario.

Accepting eth right now even if you don't believe in the tech is a good business idea, because you can always turn them back to fiat if you want and you will lure potentially rich customers who want to use cryptos as payment.

That would be nice if they will acknowledge the use of cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment so that it can lessen the possibility of transmitting germs and viruses especially nowadays that we are facing a pandemic. Let just hope and look forward for an innovation of the modality of payment.

It will happen to other beaches and resorts soon. We can even book a flight and ticket paying with bitcoin. We're near to all of those possibilities and it is only a matter of time when. The real application of cryptocurrencies is inevitable for purchases like this.
Who knows if Disneyland will start accepting bitcoin soon?  Roll Eyes
