This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

I think that is the biggest problem that comes to his or her life because when you are going to compute how much he lost it can cost a million. Actually there's a chance that you lost it when you forget the most important thing that you always need to remember and that will be the biggest regret in your life.

Thats really a lot of bitcoin that he has lost but I think there's a way to recover his wallet.dat file just research and find ways to get his 103btc back. I hope that he can get it back because it really sad that people lost a lot of bitcoin due to not knowing that it will increase its price today.

Few years back Bitcoin isn't valued then so is possible to play around with your wallet, I doubt if he's going to recover the wallet but nothing is impossible shall wish him good luck

It's so sad to hear that after a long time and hard work for only one second all is gone. That is a bis lesson for everybody that we must be careful for what we are doing and always make sure that everything is good condition.

That's way hardware wallet is best choice to keep your digital asset than software wallet. There was no way to recover it from the dumping ground because the ground is huge in size and there was no assurance that hard disc will be in the perfect situation even if the person is trying all the efforts to find that hard disk. After all, Crypto is all about self-responsibility and anyone is responsible for his own actions.

That is the reason you need to back up your dat.file very well for this might hold the future of your children and your retirement if its that big.
We just need to be extra careful and be very vigilant with the every move that partakes when it comes to the dat.file or private keys.

for me there is a necessity to always back these wallets up in paper writings or printed and kept somewhere safe where we can always access them, anything can happen and we can forget our keys, Backing them up somewhere gives you the chance to access them anytime there is is need,or an event where you forget, because they were cheap.
I think It feels like: imagine a token, the price which is 0.001$ and you don't know what will happen to this coin.

The amount of regret on his wallet is too damn high bro. Sure enough he learned a lesson but i think if we is in his same situation back in 2011 we could also do the same

your not alone bro, my classmate is the same as you, but not much as you lost he lost about 3 bitcoin, what happen is the his hard disk crashes and there is no way to retrieve anything from it, if feel sorry for the both of you and also all the people who lost their bitcoin.

Last June, Howells inadvertently tossed a hard drive containing 7,500 bitcoins, which he had mined back when they were worth very little. Now that a bitcoin is worth somewhere around $1000, that drive has an estimated worth of $7.5 million. But unfortunately for Howells, an IT worker, city workers say it’s too late for him to recover the drive from the dump.

The sum at stake in Howells’ case brought him lots of attention, but he’s certainly not the only person to lose track of his bitcoins. Outside of anecdotal evidence, however, there’s really no way of knowing how many people have similar tales—or how much they’ve lost.

this is the most feared by everyone who has bitcoin, in this case we really pay attention to the best wallet to menyimpanya, because in the world bitcoin no one whose name is responsible if we lose money, I think the best wallet to store bitcoin is indodax because security is very good and transaction is pretty fast

I am always scared of such technical issues. Just one wrong move or click and files are gone. It is better to take maximum precautions to keep your data safe. This guy was just not lucky. Let's be precautious not to become that guy in the future.

That's seriously and painful... I believe that the good works of hackers. But if I'm to have such number of bitcoin I won't keep all in one wallet
It really hurts seeing someone had lost that big amount, it is really painful, maybe he was so rich because I myself if I lost for even $100 it really makes me sad and disappointed for that happen.
