Yes i believe that after 2 years the  price of bitcoin is become $20000 or maybe $30000 because of the popularity of bitcoin day by day and more investor investing here in bitcoin so that's why the price of bitcoin is increasing rapidly just trust in bitcoin.

yeah 5 years seems more reasonable

 Since the day of bitcoin origin,  bitcoin is shocking everyone with the price hike. Now bitcoin is already crossed $6000,  but saying that in a time span of two years bitcoin will cross the $20000,  is a way bit too much expectations.  I think it may cross $10,000. But this big predictions is way too much.  But never predict anything in case of bitcoins.  Bitcoins value fluctuates in the last few years very rapidly. It has also go down.  So you never say what will happen and where it will go.

well i agree bitcoin can't reach 20,000 dollars in just 2 years, maybe in 5 years or more but i have other feeling that bitcoin may reach it in just 2 years the reason is, over course of 10 months bitcoin price rose over 4000 dollars so, if this trend continues bitcoin might able reach it in just 2 years. oh well this is only a speculation only the future can tell.

I think the many forks are hurting bitcoin to get to that price

There is no way bitcoin can rise that high in just few years because bitcoin is very unstable so it is hard to believe bitcoin can reach 20000 in 3 years, but nothing is impossible, it may reach 20000 but i think it will take about 8 years from now

I think it takes too long to wait 2 years to get the $ 20,000 price, I'm sure the $ 20,000 price will happen in 2018, so it makes me excited to continue investing bitcoin.

I cannot exactly agree to this picture but i hope this predictions will happen in the future. The current speculations of the most traders that i read in this forum is, Bitcoins will reach $10k in 2018 then probably it will reach $20k in the future because it was really growing consistently.

well possible it can reach $20,000 in 2 years, you know bitcoin is getting popular if you look at the chart this year that bitcoin huge pump x7 price increased so it means people starting to invest bitcoin and some countries accepts cryptocurrencies, so we don't know next year bitcoin will pump and possible it can reach $20,000.

If the people will hold bitcoin and do not sell it and continue to support bitcoin and encourage other people to join bitcoin and also the country to adopt bitcoin then the price of 20,000 USD in 2 years is so possible and because of the increasing demand for bitcoin right now, it will continue going up and after at least 1 1/2 years, the price will be able to reach that.

It is possible to make it especially so that bitcoins continue to grow taller and no one can control it. Its prediction is true because we can see the speed of it so fast that only a few hours later bitcoins are rising rapidly. And if people who hold bitcoins do not sell definitely the price of bitcoins will increase even more.

For me it is possible because our world is full of possibilities. The bitcoin reached $6000 per each in this year, so I can say that it is possible that the bitcoin will become $20000 per each in the next 5 years.

I strongly agree with you. At least for now, I don't think bitcoin will reach $20,000 in 2 years. Why? Let's do the math: If bitcoin's price by the end of the year will end up at $5,000, then we should assume that in 2 years, it will have a +300% (+$15,000) in its price. Also, two years equals 24 months, and when we divide 300% by 24, we will get 12.5%. That means that starting January of 2018, bitcoin should have at least an increase of 12.5% ($625) from its starting value in 2018.

As per record, bitcoin has a starting value in 2013 at $140.00 and ended the year at $750.00 (+435%). In 2014, it started at $770.00 and ended the year at $310.00 (-60%). In 2015, it started at $315 and ended the year at $420.00 (+33%). In 2016, it started at $430.00 and ended the year at $950.00 (+121%). And this year, it started at $970.00 and will probably end at $5000.00 (+415%). This only shows that bitcoin is too volatile to predict its future value.

If we take the monthly basis, a $625 increase in its value every month seems to be very unlikely to happen considering that there's a lot of tokens and altcoins now that might affect the volatility of bitcoin. The percentages of yearly increase  and decrease in its value doesn't also make any sense now since the value of bitcoin now is very high, and people won't just invest in bitcoin alone now, unlike in the past years where there are still few altcoins.

It's really no longer much of a stretch going on the performance this year. It gained $1000 in a ridiculously short period of time. There'll be plenty of bumps in the meantime but it is achievable.

Yes, I think so. Bitcoin is really a lovely coin. But it needs at least 5 years to reach $20,000. Within 2 years. Maybe it go up to $8000 or $10000.

It is not impossible for Bitcoin price to reach $20000 but I don't think that it can happen in the span of 2 years. Maybe in 5 years or more the price of Bitcoin can be that high. The same thing with Ethereum but for other altcoin in the list, it is attainable within 2 years. When that time comes, many people will become rich.

i think 4 to 5 years that amount 20,000usd will reached bitcoin price reach in 2 years i have doubt for that prediction to reached in short time of that amount and if this happen comes how about the investors needs to put additional  funds for ICO project because if bitcoin rises faster its hard for the investors to shoulder additional funds almost 3x percent of increase to their investment for the ICO projects do you think this is good for us.

That's way ambitious lol. We cannot reach that mark within only 2 years, probably 4-5 years or so. I think that it is not possible since we are only at 6k ATH.

Why it is not possible in 2 years, but possible in 5 years? IMO, the exchange rates are moving too fast to predict with a reasonable level of accuracy. In fact I wouldn't be surprised even if the exchange rate hits the $20K mark within the next 12 months (i.e by the end of 2018). Just note this. Right now we have around 10 million users. What will happen if this number increases to 100 million?

The way price went up last 2 weeks, it is very much possible
