This may feel as though the end has come for btc but if you already familiar with btc as a dapp developer you should be aware of this occasional drops,
This drop is not as bad as that of 2018 when most people already conclude the end has come but somehow btc still survive that heavy crash, those who had the guts to buy at 3500k made good profit when btc hit 9k and above,
So, I will advice if you don't have the stomach for this, take a break from crypto and come back a year later, maybe things must have cool off by then. Good luck.

And what the OP is saying is that he is already hopeless with bitcoin. But I believe otherwise, bitcoin price will suffer a lot of troubles but definitely not the end of its existence. Let us see what he will say if bitcoin recovers and reach 10k again. Now, that coronavirus vaccine is starting to roll, people will regain their confidence and the panic in market hopefully will subside very soon.

When we are facing the crisis and this rules will always become the main thing if food is much more important than money (fiat), fiat money is much more important than crypto as it's to avoid the volatility. This is not the end of crypto as crypto will exist forever but that doesn't mean the value will be so stable at this moment. Even my local fiat currency was getting a huge decrease caused by this virus.

I can not agree with you completely. By far, the most important thing is food and medicine.

However, without money you can’t get this food. Therefore, cash is especially valuable now.

After all, with its help you can buy valuable things not only in stores but also from your neighbors.

I disagree, this is temporary and not all coins have dropped significantly.
TemTum is still up and running, in it for the long haul when so many others have given up.

Huh, then you are not much experience person i can say that. Go CMC and saw what happened in 2018 year. You are the same talking about crypto currency like that time people talking about crypto. They also thought that was the end time for crypto when btc were under $3.5k and eth like $85. Believe me lots of people get losses than this. But after that market rise again and people get profit again. It's up and down business so sometime it's make us happy and sometime not.

They will never recover,at least we should learn the lesson from this crises.

For me most important lesson is that money isn't real  and it shouldn't be that important in life.

Seems like you are a fudder or a speculator that want to sound as a sympathiser and at the same time encourage people to sell and realize them that it is the end and crypto is dead, i am sure people like you know the potential of crypto and want to buy more at cheap price and if these are really your innocent views then you need to grow up mate.

Be Greedy When Others are Fearful

This is how wise people became Millionaire and fearful people achieved regret and frustration only! The world is suffering because of coronavirus, not just the financial sector, rather all the university, schools, markets everything closed down to avoid the epidemic! So, crypto is just passing a bad time, the price is not everything, with the time, the price will be recovered surly! If people keep getting panic and sell their cryptos, then I must say that will be a bad decision!

bitcoin died more then once , it wont die now either , just my opinion

You're absolutely right. We have had many times when the price of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies dropped far worst than what we have seen, though, the amount then wasn't what we got before the crash step in. We can't run away from the truth, this crash also affected the stock market. Let's wait when the stock market recover and see Bitcoin not recovery alongside with the stock market. The end is not here fellas, we have  more good days in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency than the bad days, let's wait patiently for the price to recover from this downturn. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will turn the game again and haters will regret their actions not getten involved.

There was a time in which the price of bitcoin was below one dollar and now it is many times higher than that, but it seems people have already forgotten of those days and if they were not around when that happened at least they have not taken the time to look for information regarding those days, the drop we experimented was brutal and I do not remember seeing bitcoin crashing that fast but it was due to circumstances completely outside this market, bitcoin has not been compromised in any way or form and there are still millions of people using it every day, that has not changed and when the crisis is over bitcoin most likely will go up in price once again.

During uncertain moments like this All other stocks are also crashing so panic is normal thing. Me personally, going to sit this out, meaning too much uncertainty at the moment, too much risk on the down side. Good chance we might be headed lower coming weeks/months. But i have been in this space for few years now and i have seen fair bit of ups and downs of the market and like all other previous bear markets this situation will also pass so keep calm and HODL

This won't even be the end unless the world is ending. It's a sad dip but yet we should still be mindful of adoption when ch is more important.  Very confident Bitcoin will recover. It's just a matter of time and patience because this isn't a crypto alone . It affects all sectors of the world and countries. If you like to give it a benefit of doubt then have a change of mine for once.

Bitcoin has died 300 times, so, if you want to increase it to 301, then congrats! Bitcoin price dumped, that's why you are telling this? You should know Bitcoin price went to 3200 USD in 2018 and then it recovered to 13900 USD in 2019, even a few days ago, Bitcoin price was 10000 USD plus and now it is falling down but that doesn't mean it's dying, as you can see, Bitcoin does recover, always!

I do not think this is the end, as a newbie panic should not be in your dictionary.
That aside, this is not even the most bearish market, and one important thing from this bear market is the fact that the market cap increased greatly, that shows how far and how much people got into crypto currency of late. Thats a huge positive.

Secondly, The most important lesson is that, this bear period will pass with time, and it could be the only opportunity to buy bitcoins and altcoins cheaply in a long while.

We can't blame someone or something because of this, prepare for the worst that's crypto motto. The journey will end if bitcoin has no price and abandon by the fanatic follower, not happen yet. There's chance we can cover our lost, even will not 100% success try it, use daily method for this purposes. Crypto will survive with or without us because the real foundation is trust.

Is it always the price that matters? Isn't the application of the coin more important than it's the price? I don't think the price is the reason why the cryptocurrency is alive, it's the users that actually use it or trade it.

That's the sad part of reading some posts here. Some people talk as if their life depended on crypto and once there's a drop in price everything becomes the end for them. I just wonder if all they can see about crypto is the price and nothing more.

Crypto has taught me so many things in different areas of life and I do not see the end near. This is just the beginning of crypto.

I don't think it is the end of cryptos. Crypto still has a chance to increase, although we see the price can get down for more. The crypto will recover soon, but if you don't believe it, then that is up to you.

If you want to leave crypto, fine, you can walk away from here, start a new life, and never touch crypto. But people have their own option, and if they want to stay at the crypto, then they know that if the price is down, that is the risk that they can take.

Nothing can be "end of crypto", unless we are going for a global death toll of 1+ billion people or something which I doubt still wouldn't be "end" of crypto, we are not ending. Sure it could still theoretically go down like crazy, we could have bitcoin at 50 bucks as well, why not everything else dropped like crazy so can bitcoin. However it can never end, it is out there and it will always be out there.

There are millions of coins unused and probably either forgotten or just "burnt" and so forth so that number would go up probably with many people who have bitcoin dying, but there will always be some bitcoin out there and some users. Maybe pick another word, like "all cryptos will become a lot less valuable" or something, that would be better, no reason to overexaggerate things.
