Apparently , the activity changes every 1210000 units of the UNIX timestamp.

This equates to 14 days , 6 minutes , 40 seconds.

This means , after 3026 2 week periods , you would expect to gain 42364 activity.

But no , you would get only 42350 activity.

TLDR; Every 116 years you will lose out on 14 activity. Sad right ?

Q : How is activity calculated ?

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Q : Help ! My activity (or rank) has not activated yet , even though I have sufficient posts and have posted in sufficient time periods !

Let's see if the activity schedule is accurate...

The next activity change should be Today at 10:06 but if it was UTC time it should have happened already!?

I wonder how did you get this informations Undecided

For example, the current period (period 1170) starts when the unix time = 1170 * 1210000 = 1415700000, which is Tue, 11 Nov 2014 10:00:00 GMT

This is period #1135. Period #1136 will start in about 11 hours, when the unix time 1374560000 % 1210000 == 0.

Any way to quickly convert this to different time zones? Any websites which I can enter unix time as a list and it will return the time zone I specify or something similar?

Implemented !

On the top of the screen is a "Time zone" that anyone can access and edit.

The format needs to be "HH:MM:SS.mmm", where HH is hour, MM is minute, SS is second, and mmm is millisecond.

If you need to, for example, convert to GMT -8, you need to make it -08:00:00.000

How to calculate when is the next two week period? If my  Date of Registered is October 14.And my Activity is 7 now.Since Oct14,I'm totally online for 6 hours. What should I do to get rid of Newbie rank title as soon as possible?

Read the first post in this thread. The periods are fixed regardless of sign up date. The next period starts on November 11th 2014 and then every two weeks after that. You'll become a Jnr Member when you get 30 activity.

My activity didn't update too.

Lulwut are you talking about? It's updating with every post you make. How many activity do you think you should have? You won't get the full 14 points until you make the 14 posts.

If I'm online only two days during two weeks, and in this two days I post 14.Can I get 14 activity?

Yes. You could get 14 activity if you made 14 posts. You could also just make one post and then make the 13 posts at a later date to collect the rest.

And then should I need to be online until it's enough online 2 week, then I can get my next two week's 14 activity?

Not 100% sure what you mean but you would have to wait for the start of the next two week period to get another 14 points.
