maybe that was in 2017. but now in 2019 even the price of bitcoin is not yet significant. certainly not the right time to sell, this is the right time to buy altcoins. I myself saw the low altcoin price immediately bought because I was sure the market would recover.

do not sell to buy more expensive coins, because all already have the market and the price of each, it could be after this bitcoin price drops and you will lose if you sell altcoin to buy bitcoin, it's better to buy bitcoin with other money. after all there is no guarantee that if you sell an altcoin to buy bitcoin it will be profitable.
Better to buy a low price coin because I think the time for the low coin price to increase soon will come and then the high coin price will following to increase. I don't want to sell my altcoin for bitcoin, and I think I will do trading to make a profit even for a small profit because this time, I feel we can get much profit from trading. Besides that, I know that I can wait for another longer to see my altcoins to reach a higher price.
For now i'm just holding my altcoins a littlte bit because this altcoins that ill have is a potential altcoins. But if they rise the price of it maybe i will start to sell them and buy bitcoin and wait the time of bitcoin be bull run again.
All coins in the market has a potential, except shitcoins. Of course holding is good, it's hard when the market is not favorable but hold means for long term, so you should be okay
with whatever the condition as eventually the market will recover.
For now, i'm still in a hodling state waiting for the perfect moment to exchange it into another altcoins or bitcoin and perhaps to be exchanged into FIAT.

some Altcoin will provide more opportunities because not only 1 coin is held, whereas if you sell everything and replace it with Bitcoin, the chances that you get and you hope are only from Bitcoin.and you can lose all Altcoin for Bitcoin, so now is not the right time, later if you benefit from Altcoin, and at that time you buy Bitcoin. before you also have to see the situation allows to buy or not.
CME listing seems to be making bitcoins value go up almost almost as if its a fork coming up. How many of you are selling all alt coins at the moment for bitcoin?

I cannot just decide to sell my altcoins without any genuine reason. I cannot also dispose them, because I want to convert to BTC.

If the market price raise then that is the good time to hold bitcoin, it is hard to gamble for holdings of alts because there are lots of alts in the market that when the bounty hunters dump there was no chance for the coin to recover so it is better to convert it immediately to btc or eth.

Never sell your altcoins to convert btc. Because btc already raised there price and will hard to predict prices. But good altcoins are always trying to raised there price. Now lot of altcoins at lowest prices more than ICO or Pre sale price.
I think now is not the right time to sell altcoins, because now new growth is starting to increase, I better wait for a better altcoin price increase.
That's correct because no one knows if someday is the day for altcoins day. Because some altcoins That i see they are pumping lot of them is ico tokens or coins that they reach ico price after releasing their token in trading market maybe now few only but its growing up day by day.
I think now is not the right time to sell altcoins, because now new growth is starting to increase, I better wait for a better altcoin price increase.
