Well understood, but one thing I want you to know is that no one is forcing anyone and gambling is supposed to be played only by adults by law, so I believe anyone is not under compulsions, so it's their choice. I believe that life would still be boring to some people if they did not gamble, and as much as I see it that you are trying to be neutral, everyone still has the right to this choice and will continue to make one.
If that is the case, as they gamble and lose or get affected, they will blame themselves, and if it's otherwise where they gamble and gain, they will appraise themselves. But in the end, everyone should know and admit with consciousness the side they are on in gambling whether it's positive or negative. If it's positive, it's fine, but if it's negative, I guess it's time for them to make amends as gambling could help or ruin, the choice is left to everybody.
Nobody is forcing anybody to do anything. It's just the environment that's encouraging and discouraging gambling. Where I live, gambling is very exposed, there isn't anybody who doesn't gamble. I even saw some teenagers gambling. It became very common at my place. On the other hand, there are many places where you can't gamble. The government is so hard that you will have to gamble secretly.
Yes, I do think everyone has a choice about whether they want to gamble or not. But I think you missed out on one important factor here: environmental freedom. It's effects a lot when one is trying to make his choice. I think there should be a subject for gambling education where one will be taught the good and bad sides of gambling. That's how one will be able to make the right decision.
