There are quite a lot of lessons, activities and knowledges to learn from the forum as well, especially learning and deriving ideas from other higher member’s quality post which is always like a plus to what would encourage and inspire the new members and low ranked members like us to learn and motivate ourselves in order to achieve and develop a better and outstanding quality post. It is always a good thing to learn from other successful and outstanding higher and senior member’s quality contents as this builds our confidence into becoming a successful posters on this forum.

Of course, it is very useful to read the posts of more experienced forum participants, but being inspired by them, it is important not to copy them, but to understand the thought and give most of your thoughts and your vision in the post. It is better to read third-party sources of information that will give you a unique, only your opinion and vision on a particular issue. These are Twitter, telegram channels of crypto enthusiasts, economic news, etc. Broaden your horizons and you will be able to write great good posts like Hero and Legends do.

well you are right, and in addition, for you to become a good  poster, you must be a good reader, reading is what gives you the ability to know more about the forum,it gives you an ample opportunity to become a quality  post poster too because when you read regularly,it develops your mental reasoning, and turns you into a good poster or writer.Another thing to always put in practice  is to learn from other good posters in the forum, see the pattern in which they make their posts that attracts merits, and probably have a guild or mentors that will guild you on the way to go about posting.by so doing, you will see that you've improved drastically in your posting method which will yield good result for you.

1. Spend times in this Forum:
Creating great posts depends not only on the time we spend in forums, but also on the quality of effort we put into learning how to write effective posts. Spending a lot of time on forums might help us to understand the topics being discussed and see how other members make great posts, but it doesn't guarantee that we will become experts at writing great posts. A little time is not a problem, the most important thing is Learn about the topic you want to write a post about, make sure you understand the topic to be covered. Do some research, read articles, or find information on the topic.

4. Post Less but not the Shitposts:
It is very necessary to learn writing techniques that can help you convey your message clearly and easily understood by readers. For example, use short and easy-to-understand sentences, write in short paragraphs, and use words that are appropriate and in accordance with the topics discussed. Yes, it's true, that plagiarism is strictly prohibited and unethical.

I have tried number 3 before but It seems a lot of work and so I just use my time to learn more. Anyways, number 3 is not a good tip on how to make quality post and it's not even related to making good or high quality post though it's good for the forum and for everyone else if you manage to find a scammers and cheaters but as I have said, it doesn't even help you make good quality posts. There are some flaws in your tips and they LM is right about following knowledgeable forum members rather than following someone because of having a high rank.

This I will disagree with I guess.

Instead of following Senior Forum Members, maybe it would be better if you used "Follow Knowledgeable members" because they're the ones that will help you. Well, there are senior forum members here who are knowledgeable, but there are also some members out there who has a low rank, but has a lot of knowledge with regards to cryptocurrency as well.
Yes you told it clearly. Even my intention was like you because most of the forum higher rankers are knowledgeable and a few of lower rankers are perfectly knowledgeable. So I told to learn from higher rankers means that Higher rankers which have a good knowledge about crypto. I know also many lower rankers are much experienced but most of them aren't. So I will say like you "Follow Knowledgeable Members".

1. Spend times in this Forum: When you spend lot of times in this forum you will be able to learn a lot from other members. Then you may see someone is posting for help. You should help them if you are expert about that. How much you will be active in this forum that much you will be able to help others with proper information.
This helped me by a lot.

Aside from the fact that I'm spending more than 2 hours a day watching documentaries and educational videos on Youtube with regards to cryptocurrencies, and investing in general, reading posts here made by some of the most knowledgeable ones really helped me. I'm not a technical guy like most here, but still I know the basics at least, and that's all because of the members here who are sharing their opinions.

2. Follow Senior Forum Members: Some may thought users only give merits to the higher rankers because if they post any information gets a lot of merits. But you should remember most of the cases they post firstly with proper information as they are the most active in this forum. Again they share crypto resources which is very helpful to all. So it's a very helpful trick to follow Higher rankers and grow yourself like them.
This I will disagree with I guess.

3. Try To Catch Scammers and Bounty Cheaters: If you make yourself expert about catching scammers and bounty Cheaters you may get attention from the higher rankers and may grow up yourself in this forum too fast. This is a very tricky way and also very contributive.
I tried this a bit, but I don't have enough time to do it.

Well, I didn't catch any scammers and bounty cheaters out there, but I managed to make quality posts, and TBH, you don't really need this to make quality posts. What you need is your knowledge, your opinion, and the information that the other users here can learn to your posts.

P.S. I'm a suspected spammer Sad

I understand that spending more time in the forum allows you to learn and hear different perspectives on a topic. It does not necessarily imply that you will have to comment on the topic, but learning something from the topic after following the conversation makes the time spent there worthwhile.

This is not about merit; even lower-ranking members who provide accurate information will be rewarded. Following the lead of senior members in the forum does not guarantee that you will learn a lot to instill in the forum. Take the guide they provide and create your own footprint to follow. Your instincts are very important, and not all senior members are as knowledgeable as some of the forum's junior members.

Why Students Score 100% in Examination
There are only two things a good student does to score 100% in exams.
1. When the examination paper is given to him or her, he or she would read the questions and understand the questions.
2. After understanding the question, she or he would write what she or he has understood from the reading, then when the examiner sees that what she or he wrote is corresponding with questions then 100% would be given. So the essence here is reading.

The essence is not all about reading, what if you read and you don't understand all you have read? It happens to many people even my self too, is like your mind isn't a pace to comprehend all you have read.
The major essence is to read and understand not just reading alone, because ones understanding is involved you can beat that barrier between you and making a quality post.

Don't get the real inputs about this, since it looks like you are trying to get some merit by your explanation. You cannot do only quality post just for that.

The simple explanation about creating quality post is to be on point of the topic which you can contribute well on the discussion and never post any generic replies on mega threads because you cannot add up any new information to the readers.

Point 2 maybe good since you can get a information to seniors here but don't imitate them follow them as a guide and you are the one who will create a decision if the information you receive to them is good or not. Always trust your instinct.

Point 3 I discourage them to do because its to early for newbie to do this better spend their time on more valuable things since there are other veteran people doing this job for this community.

I consider myself as beginner. You wrote some excellent points. Specially at end you described more about your points. I won't say following Senior Members is a way to improve Post quality. There are a lot of Legendary Shit Posters who post just increase their post count. They don't even read what was written in the OP. So, Not only Caracter, you don't have to follow every senior. Every stone is not a Gem.

Your 3rd Point is a bit controversial. I won't suggest any beginer to start catching scammers and bounty hunters. I don't think cathing scammers or bounty hunters help you to improve your post quality. It will help them to catch some merits. I support catching scammers, but you have to be careful and not question everyone's private matter. I feel like catching bounty hunters doesn't add any value to this forum as they come back again with a new account and it consume forum resource. I don't know why, but I feel like people hunt for scammers and bounty hunters to catch some merits and get a place in DT network. Which is why I didn't even modified my trust list yet.

I agree but following any higher ranker doesn't mean that you do what he does and you just notice his activity. You can follow someone to learn from him and to know how to make quality posts, how to contribute in a right way. I think following higher members is not a bad habit if your intention is to learn and to contribute in this forum. And not all higher rankers are perfect to follow so we should choose who is doing good job and should learn from them as much as we can.
There are plenty of high ranking members, but those who want to learn a lot including how to make good posts and make good contributions. I guess it's enough to pick a few members with the highest rating and they are the ones who already have some trust in this forum. Because those who have been trusted by the forum and placed in certain positions will certainly not make posts carelessly and will continue to make better contributions every day and it is worth following if someone is able to follow it.

You are talking about quality post and not a police. Posting means that you must write out the information or knowledge that you want to share with forum members and not spying on someone's post. This is very needful in the forum because it will keep the forum clean.

On the other side,it will be a distraction to you because this is not the purpose for to be here. Learning and sharing new knowledge that you have on bitcoin is the most important thing that is expected from every member of the forum. Stay focus and don't chase merits so that you don't get discouraged if the merits don't come your way.

All your points are valid, but I need to talk about trying to catch scammers and bounty cheaters. You said we should spend time learning how to post quality content, but if we took these points into consideration, it would mean we couldn't learn what we needed to learn because it would be a distraction for us. A beginner isn't supposed to focus on these points either.
Im also wondering why these applied to as newbie. Personally I would scrape that one out since doing this isnt for beginners and they might focus on busting every scammers there without learning how the blockchain works. Being a scambusters need skills and knowledge so better before doing that is focus first on the info on how it help them find them. But seriously, I wouldnt definitely suggest this one.

In this forum we all want to contribute and want to make good quality posts so that we can get our ranks up but many of us don't know how to post which is meaningful and unique. Otherwise you will be considered as a Shitposter.
To make good posts first we need to follow some tips :
.

This forum has many members that express themselves and their knowledge of bitcoin in diverse ways. It might be good to learn from senior members because of their wealth of knowledge and experience but it also is good if you find your oath and carve your niche. When you are writing a post ensure you have the correct information and that your post will be beneficial to the forum but express it in your way. You don't necessarily need to sound like someone else because you are unique. To all newbies just be yourself and enjoy the forum.

Regarding your forum police comments, it is not all members that will have such policing or investigative skills. This field requires a whole lot of patience and analysis. That's why they are rewarded for such hard work. If you don't have such skills, just be a good poster.

Quality post is different from the OP thoughts. To be a quality poster is as simple as ABC. The first thing to do is reading to capture the mind of the author, then you make comments on it. Now let me give you a brief analogy.

Why Students Score 100% in Examination
There are only two things a good student does to score 100% in exams.
1. When the examination paper is given to him or her, he or she would read the questions and understand the questions.

Don't imitate others for your success, but look on the bright side. You don't need to be highly technical to rank up, but you should learn the technicals for yourself. Likewise about other knowledge, you don't need to be a user who understands forum statistics for rank up, but you do need to understand statistics to support your assumptions.

I think you get what I mean, and be yourself even if you learn from others. Contribution is not about how you manage to get merit and rank up, but everyone who cares about the quality of their posts will rank up very easily.

Truth is, you following high-ranking members can't make you rank up, your contribution is the only thing between ranking up and staying the same forever.

Let me say that you are right, if you have the quality to look for scammers, spammers, bounty cheaters and shit posters, they are means that you can be noticed and grow on this forum. But let me correct that because you are not completely correct, you may not have all these qualities and still grow as long that you are making good posts.
Catching spammers, bounty cheaters , shit posters etc will get you noticed for your detective work on the forum but this doesn't automatically make your post quality better as it's really unrelated to posting!!

2. Follow Senior Forum Members: Some may thought users only give merits to the higher rankers because if they post any information gets a lot of merits.
Honestly this is definitely subjective and not all high ranked users live up to expectations !

And sorry to burst your bubble but believe it or not some users will literally post a fullstop and get merit for it because they are rooted into the forum.

Btw long texts also don't necessarily mean quality, you could be brief and express what you have to say articulately.

The very first thing one should understand is the definition of a good-quality post. What is considered a good quality or a constructive post? A constructive post doesn't necessarily need to contain a lot of information, resources or technical terms, etc. All it needs is to be on-topic, and it should somehow contribute to the topic being discussed while not being a repetitive response, which means that the content of your post must be unique and shouldn't already be available within the thread you are posting in.

Some newbies think that writing long and lengthy messages with a lot of information and resources makes them good posters, but that is not entirely true. The quality of your posts depends on the context you are writing about and your ability to evaluate the whole thread before writing anything.
