2. Follow Senior Forum Members: Some may thought users only give merits to the higher rankers because if they post any information gets a lot of merits. But you should remember most of the cases they post firstly with proper information as they are the most active in this forum. Again they share crypto resources which is very helpful to all. So it's a very helpful trick to follow Higher rankers and grow yourself like them.
We don't need to follow other members, especially following their ways of making a post. If you follow the good habits of old members, it is okay as long as it fits with you. In my opinion, it is better to have your own way to grow in this forum. We must be more satisfied to succeed in our own way, copying other people's ways won't end up with satisfaction.

4. Post Less but not the Shitposts: If you are too much new in this forum you should post less posts instead of posting Shitposts. And you must post something which is related to topics and must be of the related board. Plagiarism is fully prohibited so never try to do this if you think you will share resources by gathering from out the of the forum by doing copy paste.
Why we must post less?
As long as we made quality posts, it is no problem to post more.
You must know that not every newbie has lack knowledge about crypto. Some may be experienced people but they just join this forum.

There are quite a lot of lessons, activities and knowledges to learn from the forum as well, especially learning and deriving ideas from other higher member’s quality post which is always like a plus to what would encourage and inspire the new members and low ranked members like us to learn and motivate ourselves in order to achieve and develop a better and outstanding quality post. It is always a good thing to learn from other successful and outstanding higher and senior member’s quality contents as this builds our confidence into becoming a successful posters on this forum.

1. Spend times in this Forum: When you spend lot of times in this forum you will be able to learn a lot from other members. Then you may see someone is posting for help. You should help them if you are expert about that. How much you will be active in this forum that much you will be able to help others with proper information.
The amount of time spent on the forum has nothing to do with quality; you might be active for 10 years and still be a terrible poster. Learning and writing are two distinct things; some people have the information but poor writing abilities, and vice versa.

3. Try To Catch Scammers and Bounty Cheaters: If you make yourself expert about catching scammers and bounty Cheaters you may get attention from the higher rankers and may grow up yourself in this forum too fast. This is a very tricky way and also very contributive.

There are merits in every area of the forum, so just stick to what you do best and eventually everything will come your way. This merit fishing method has been exposed and it no longer works FYI.

OP, your point about being like and trying to be like any highly ranked member is a little unclear. How, for example, can a person become like someone who has technical knowledge? That is, he also has to study all the knowledge materials that his idol has. Or maybe it's better to patiently develop your personality, not trying to be similar to the point of parody, which in my opinion is almost impossible.
Each person who comes here will still find a particular topic that is of interest to him. Further, by being interested and reading the forum and not copying the topics and questions of others, he can create his own posts in which he can cover the topic as he understands it.
Let's welcome the uniqueness of the forum and not the monotony, which at some point becomes extremely boring.
High-quality posting is a derivative of personal experience and knowledge. Posting should not be an end in itself. Of course, you need to improve the quality of posts in terms of information and content, but chasing this alone is not the most reasonable strategy. lovesmayfamilis correctly said that you need to improve the quality of yourself as a person. (although she put it differently, but the essence is close Smiley). Develop yourself in those areas that are close and interesting to you. Sooner or later, you will have something to say to the community, which is sure to appreciate them.

To make good posts, you need to have some kind of background, and if not, then create it.

P.S. I’m not just writing under lovesmayfamilis’s post, but because once again her comments stand out and catch the eye. She seems to be writing exactly what I wanted to say, that is, she resonates with me. This is exactly what beginners should do (although it's not easy). Not in the sense of copying lovesmayfamilis, but trying to express your thoughts. Try to reflect on the posts.

One of the things I love about this forum is that sincerity and effort are rewarded. It is easy to spot members who are only in it for the quick merits and earnings, but the community is quick to recognize those who are truly committed to providing valuable insights and engaging in meaningful discussions.

Of course, everything worth doing takes time and effort, but the rewards are well worth it. While it is good to contribute quality posts and information to the community, we also need to recognize that not everyone is going to be an expert on every topic. It is okay for newbies to stick to what they know and feel comfortable discussing, rather than trying too hard to provide a content that may not be their area of expertise.

In fact, I think it is better to have a variety of perspectives and experiences on the forum, rather than everyone trying to sound like an expert on every topic. This way, we can all learn from each other and engage in meaningful discussions that showcase our individual strengths and knowledge.

So if you are new to the forum and feeling a bit intimidated, do not worry! Stick to what you know and feel comfortable discussing, and the rest will come with time and experience. As long as you approach the forum with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and engage with the community, you will find that your efforts are always appreciated.

3. Try To Catch Scammers and Bounty Cheaters: If you make yourself expert about catching scammers and bounty Cheaters you may get attention from the higher rankers and may grow up yourself in this forum too fast. This is a very tricky way and also very contributive.

I won't classify this as a form of quality post instead a genuine act that helps keep the form clean/safe so it doesn't fit into tips for quality posts. Infact there isn't no tip for quality post since there's no standard outline by the forum administrative for we the members to follow and that's because theymos knows quality is subjective. Quality shoudn't be limited to this or any tips. We have people from different geographical location and educational background on the forum therefore there shoudn't be a standard for quality since what might seem quality to you mightn't be to me.

For newbies readying this, just be yourself. Keep writing how you do provided you aren't spamming, you don't have to change you style to suit anybody. This is a open forum and all knowledge are welcomed here. Don't be in a rush to rank up, take your time and enjoy the journey. Practice makes perfect and for members who are consistent, you would be rewarded at the end. Be consistent with what you're doing that's adding value to the forum.

To become an established member of the forum, don't think too quickly about how to Earn Merit. Try reading all the Guide/Tips threads, especially the PINNED THREAD which educates how to make quality posts and information.
Don't rush to make a post, because it could be that the post you make doesn't have any quality at all. Prioritize knowledge as the main capital, read more to improve quality. There are many ways you can contribute to the forum, when you've read some useful threads, you'll find loopholes on how to get merit.

If someone really wants to contribute to this forum with quality posts and information, then such members need to regularly follow crypto news, analyze it and share their thoughts with the crypto community.
Well I agree with this, we have to post contributions related to crypto news, and some of the news out there can be concluded in our minds with different thoughts and this will produce better posts than in some of the ways above.
Even though I'm not against it with the tips above it would be better for people to master and understand crypto.

3. Try To Catch Scammers and Bounty Cheaters: If you make yourself expert about catching scammers and bounty Cheaters you may get attention from the higher rankers and may grow up yourself in this forum too fast. This is a very tricky way and also very contributive.
This has nothing to do with post quality. You don't need to be a forum police to become a good quality poster. Well, it will help you to earn quick merits. Most of these kinds of people do this to get merit or make a quick name/reputation on the forum so they can make an exit scam at the end. The simple term is using the forum for what the forum has been created. That's the only thing which will help someone to be a high quality poster of the forum.

Well there is no need to rely on it and I think it just wants to be the attention of many people even though I know it is a good study, but not entirely to catch cheaters but with some informative posts it will be more developed than focused on it.

There is still a lot of important news that we don't know about with some benefits for us. If we can implement your thoughts and share them on the forum, it will also be a lot of people's attention to discuss things in a reasonable way.

I agree with you that scammers and their activities are hated but trying to catch up with them to get merits *attention from the higher rankers* seems wrong (at least morally).
If the post is worth merits, you will not do it, which leads to killing the fun in creating good posts.
Take it easy and post what you like without thinking that you will get a return.

I also take issue with the idea that we should be trying to 'grow ourselves like higher rankers.' That seems like a superficial goal, and it doesn't necessarily equate to making meaningful contributions to the forum. We should be focusing on adding value to the discussions, not just trying to boost our own ranks. And while catching scammers and bounty cheaters may be a helpful contribution, I don't think we should be encouraging people to solely focus on that as a way to grow their reputation on the forum. It's important to have a variety of contributions and not just one narrow focus.

I wonder what would have happened if this forum has follow and unfollow button, many newbies and jr members will use high-rank members as their main fans, and no one will follow low-rank members  Grin  Grin
This is open discussion forum not any social media platforms that will allow such options but there is ignore button option through which you can put any member on ignore or particular board also and you will not see any post from that member and board respectively. The low rank members with knowledge come into knowledge of others with their quality posts and active participation.

2. Follow Senior Forum Members:
There are many senior or even legendary rank members without a single earned merit after they were airdropped merits when the system was implemented. So your advice is to follow all high rank members on forum? You should look for quality threads through which you can gain knowledge and learn with time.

As you said follow senior members I would say there are many low rank members with lot of merits also and slowly with activity points they are getting higher rank but their merits are still more then rank so it's more about how much knowledge you have on forum. You can see members such as n0nce and PowerGlove who have won Discovery of the year award as well so your contributions will determine how much your grow.

2. Follow Senior Forum Members:

This isn't bad anyway but you have to know and be sure of the kind of members you follow on the forum here, though i believe delivering the best a d giving a quality post does not only got limited to the senior members alone, a newbie can have an idea that an experienced member doesn't, that is the reason why you should only go by the taughts received from you through a member' s post regardless of his rank.

It's like giving a guide how to become a scammer in this forum Grin
Sorry If I have posted something wrong but my intention was to put beginners on the right path. Even I am also learning and following higher ranked users how they post and contribute in this forum. I think we should be encouraged by seeing them not to be a scammer in this forum by going on a wrong way like many users do.

Truth is, you following high-ranking members can't make you rank up, your contribution is the only thing between ranking up and staying the same forever.

If someone really wants to contribute to this forum with quality posts and information, then such members need to regularly follow crypto news, analyze it and share their thoughts with the crypto community.
You can't discuss something if you don't have enough knowledge and experience, and that's why it's difficult for new members in the beginning, and we all understand that.
However, it's always easy to recognize a sincere new forum member, who is trying to learn and wants to contribute in a positive way to this forum, from members who are only interested in collecting quick merits and advancing on the forum because of the earning potential here.
My experience is that on this forum fair approach and effort are always rewarded.
Everything takes a certain amount of time and effort.

You will be helping the forum to get rid of scammers and cheaters, but on the other hand, it will become distracting to you and can derail you from learning, which is really what should be your aim, goal and primary focus in the forum. Learn and provide valuable contributions in form of information, tips, guide etc. The forum always need people that other forum users can learn from, and if you mold yourself into one of these person's, you will always get merited for your actions even without you seeking for it.

It's like giving a guide how to become a scammer in this forum Grin

Follow senior members in this forum aren't entirely make you able to rank up because someone might feel you're trying to catch their attention to you and if they feel disturbed, don't cry if they might ignored your account.

There's nothing wrong about catching scammers or bounty hunters, but if your intention is only to rank up or to abusing your power, you might get a problem in the future.
