If to say na only food nai the economy affect e for they some how easy for those set of people way base for their villages because them for they do farm works take they feed them selfs and their families but since e be say nah everything nai they affected even the people way live for Town, city and villages they suffer, whether you get money or not e go affect you as long as say you they this country.
One thing be say as Nigeria they so, nah very big country with over 223,804,632 people both the citizen and non citizen they inside even good and bad self they, but the bad plenty pass the good nai make we they suffer.
Nigeria is @62 years so far and I don't know why the country economy is so bad to this extent that even the rich is complaining, now image the rich people complaining, so if the rich is complaining that means the poor will cry for hunger.

This matter carry plenty kassala for head. I dey always dey scared to even discuss this kind of matter because I no fit even imagine how I dey take cope on top this economy again. Na why person suppose dey thank God fof the level wey we don reach so far. For basically being alive.

The way e difficult to get money now for the country, e be like person wey wan climb mountain everest with him bare hands and feet. On top of this money and job unemployment, things con dey skyrocket and none wan come down. Even dollar and fuel just dey rise they go at their peaks.

The question be say, how poor man wan take survive like this, when to eat better food on an average now reach ₦1,000 naira per meal. And an equivalent of ₦3,000 per 3 square meal.

With the figures wey dey above, make we take laborer wey dey do strong work for instance. As a laborer you need eat food make u get energy do work. How much be your payment for 1 day wey you work? For this side of the country e no pass ₦2,500 per day. Now make we say, the laborer wan drink tea and bread for breakfast which takes like ₦500. Small lunch come be like ₦800 and dinner like ₦800 too. That na total of ₦2,100 out of the ₦2,500 wey him collect with ₦400 as the change wey remain.

Abeg, when this person wan buy clothes to wear, buy other person needs, pay house rent con even send small back home?

You see, this and more na the reason why people dey sleep under bridge and na why many people dey hostile to each other.

My brother no be only food wey the thing affect. The falling standard of living affect every aspect of the economy, e just be say na food we dey deal with every moment. Okay see, people wey dey sell food put money for am or reduce hand for the quantity and quality wey dem dey sell because say other things too wey follow for wetin go make food cost, transport to go buy the incredient, kerosene abi na gas. Abi house rent never dey increase for your area? Oya wait make you finish the rent wey you pay for and to renew am you go sabi say rent too don increase because landlord or landlady too dey buy things costly and dem too go increase the rent wey dem dey from feed. You are speaking about yourself of the whole nigeria? I'm asking because I'm not sure if 1k is enough to feed me because baba, me I dy chop well in the morning and I make sure everything set. Let's look at it this way bro.
A loaf of bread soft one fit cost you ₦800, milk tin now na ₦500, you buy milo or any other beverage to add as ₦200, that's like ₦1500. If you come say you wan fry egg join, na more than ₦2,000 you dy spend be that. Na average wetin you fit chop as naija be this because I know no wetin you wan do with ₦1,000, e no go do except you wan dy drink akamu in the morning. 

Now back to the matter, brother man, the truth or this matter na fuel subsidy removal na why everything don cost like this. Any sales that involves transportation has increase the price of their products and it's a normal thing in economy that when basic price of things are increase without alternative, other price of goods and services will also increases because they need to adjust their financial support to meet the current state of the economy. If price of rice was ₦1,000 and then the price jumped to ₦3,000, expect every other price of things to increased because the sellers need rice, they will also adjust their price so they can e able to buy and eat too while maintaining their business.

There is nothing in this country that does not need transportation and as long say the price of fuel they up, we go dy buy things high but if they are able to stablise the USD at the current price that it's been sold, things will be stabilized for a while because we depends on refined fuel from outside the country and if dollar price continues to go up, then every price of goods will increaeas well.

I am actually wondering what kind of breakfast some one would be eating for such a small amount of money, except you were only talking about bachelors and spinsters and forgot that there are also many of us that are married and have children to feed as well ...

I know for a fact that anytime me and my family wants to take tea and bread for breakfast, I spend nothing less than #2,500 on just bread and tea alone, before I begin to consider eggs and spices and any other stuffs we might need to make the meal sumbcoius.

Anyways, the current situation in Nigeria demand that we not just work hard, but pray hard too, because in as much as we really need to earn more so as to be able to keep up with all the expenses and the loss of the purchasing power of the naira, we also need to pray hard to God to make the means of earning more money available to us, because I personally believe that it's only by the help of God can we prevail in the current situation of the country.

The salary of an average Nigerian worker is about N150,000( $160) per month and this is for graduates that have put in some years of service. Unfortunately, base on the currenct economic realities of our country, 50% of this fund is spent on feeding. This is to say that many people are leaving from hand to mouth because the remaining 50% is not enough to cover to shelter, health, clothing, utilities and other basic amenities.

If urgent steps are not taken, people will drift towards depression and that is not good for a country with population of 200 million people. 

Nigeria has gone from worst to too bad, sometimes I see a good reason to say that our leaders has no conscience, how will you allow the people that you are leading to die in hunger, our leader doesn't like the idea of licensing more production companies or better still encouraging small firms that are into production, because most of them have share or quota in a particular man business that have decided to keep his people in the dark by inflating the price of everything through the help of the government, Nigeria has everything within her reach not to allow it's citizen suffer, removal of subsidy has been the major cause for the suffering of Nigerians, a government that wake up and announce the removal of the only thing the citizens benefit from, without putting things in place to caution the effects that may arise as a result of this, I think its time for the right thing to be done, because the current hunger in the land is so unbearable that, it takes God to control people not to do otherwise, Nigeria needs urgent revitalization, and that's the way we should go.

I have already done a survey on this issue, and what I discovered is that all this issue comes from the cost of fuel because many farmers that farm are complaining that the amount of fertiliser is very high and the cost of transportation from their various locations to the city is very high, so if they don’t increase the amount of product they sell, they will end up losing money and might not farm again. I even visited some near-by villages, and some farmers told me that they just farm what they can profit from, and most maize farmers didn’t farm maize this year because of the high cost of fertiliser, so with this, I can say Nigeria is getting to something else. All I can say it let work hard and pray

700 -100 Naira for breakfast self depend on where you de leave, e get some places wey that money no go do you to chop. Omo my fellow Niger men and women how una dey see this thing wey dey happen for our country cost of food dey increase on a monthly basis to chop common breakfast fit cost you like 700 - 1000 for management oh. And we dey farm dey produce rice and garri, even most raw materials wey them dey use make process food we get am , how come everything cost like this . Watin we go say be the cause of this one now .
