I would have loved if your question or subject line goes like this " To what extent can crypto currency be strengthen with sport" as that would have really make more sense in my opinion. This is because I don't really see how crypto currency can influence sport but rather how sport can influence crypto currency, though this is my personal opinion.
I guess you have a valid point here and that makes some sense besides sports was already here before cryptocurrencies has been introduced. Crypto wouldn't prosper if let alone it has a single purpose like a store of value or something similar, it should have other use case and it should be widely used across other stuffs like sports.
Crypto is applied on several  industries which doesnt really only limit out on gambling but also in games as well but its true that gambling had been here on this market before crypto existed
so it doesnt really need that much for us to say that it is really that needed or required because sports could go without needing any something which means
it isnt really that much of a concern for us to look upon.

Probably through sponsorships and charity that involves cryptocurrencies, for example, a crypto company or crypto devs could pledge a donation or donate something that involves or benefits sports like erecting gymnasium, courts and other sports facilities.
That's a good idea but it's just like a project-based benefit using crypto for funding those projects. There's so much more aside from that if somebody wants to use cryptocurrencies to be beneficial with the sports that they're related.
The best in my opinion have already been said on what can be beneficial with the use of crypto to give that much highlight not only for the sport but as well as for crypto and that's in financing or giving salary.

we are in times when the blockchain through cryptocurrencies is entering a new moment for sports, before which and how far will we advance in this new scenario?

This is like saying how can grass help sports - it is totally irrelevant and one has little bearing on the other. The only way it has filtered through is probably in the form of sponsorship money. The regulators and sporting bodies are slowly catching on to the idea that throwing up gambling advertisements in front of a predominantly young  and impressionable audience is probably a bad idea. They have probably had a bad influence on sports in general really, by flooding more money into the hands of football clubs who already pay far too much for players and take part in this ever increasing inflation of wages to ridiculous amounts. No football player should end up costing over a $100 million, but there are now several.

Imagine the impact of sponsorships via cryptocurrency like people would be aware of its existence, thus increasing its popularity on the long run. The application of cryptocurrencies into sports may be difficult to materialize but sponsorships and pledges can do the trick.
I wouldn't really think so....? I mean in the first place, sponsorships are done by companies, as a sort of advertisement for their business, they don't really specify what form or medium their sponsorship is, that would just be... well, odd. It could even be a damn waste of time which instead could be used to lengthen the duration or increase the size of their names popping out from whatever sort of sponsorship they are doing. Maybe if a sponsor was centered around a coin instead of their company, then maybe, just maybe, it could work.
So this is the way that it could be strengthened? Lets say that currency neither fiat or digital will only just served as a tool for being used in part of such activity but doesnt mean that it could really be boosted up when

it comes to sports industry because it would always matter on the demand itself not just on basing up on crypto tie up because it has nothing to do with this industry. It does have different purpose and how it

works and this isnt the main basis for neither a failure or success of a certain business.

That would really help too, most that I saw are through sponsorships, I saw one crypto as a sponsor on the kickboxing fight, I can't remember the specific fight anymore because I'm not really a fan of kickboxing but I just notice that Logo which I can easily spot since I'm too active in crypto.

The last phrase that you mentioned makes much more sense than the question phrased by OP. Like up to what extent can sport influence the popularity and widespread of cryptocurrency given that thousands to millions of people watch it everyday? I feel like it can have a positive impact in the long-run by attracting new investors and users to its market.

Sponsorship is the way to strengthened crypto in the people's eyes because they will see a logo from the crypto and if they have curiosity, they will search for what is that. I think we already see in the football which has a token for their club so when they are in the competitions and wears that logo in their shirt, many people will see that. That surely will strengthen the crypto position in the people, especially those who already invest their money in crypto.

If you want an honest opinion on the matter, what I see about this is that there is really nothing that I can see that would influence sports as far as cryptocurrencies are concerned. Right now Bitcoin and the major cryptocurrencies are currently confined to betting in sports. Nothing in the part wherein the major coins themselves will sponsor the said sports events and that is highly unlikely as the major sports corporations still has tons of cash that they can use to organize the events.
Totally agree, there's no way that crypto can improve sports, it's the other way around I think because bitcoin doesn't have that much utility outside of what it's used, the only way that I think that crypto can strengthen sports is hosting an event or something like that.

Too early to say in short but we could really see the potential but for now then it isnt really that much giving out some impact but at least we are seeing some glimpse that it could really be possible but not for now.
Its true that they do still have lots of cash for them to organized events. For now we do still stick on online casinos kind of application but talking about sports then it isnt
really still that much of relevant.

I think they may influence sports but most of all they influence the betting business around the sports. There are many factor that contribute to this: some people made quite a bit of money with bitcoin and there are happy to enjoy playing with it. Also, some dedicated sites accept crypto, which makes it even easier to play. Finally, promoting these sites in Bitcointalk is very straightforward and cheaper than other options.

As of now the best ways cryptocurrencies assist in strengthening the integrity and longevity of sports is through sponsorships and salary/compensations.
We also see various sponsorships, brand deals and partnerships coming from crypto bookies so that's the extent that these sports are coming up. But there are also some countries that are not agree with this so they're becoming strict with their implementation about rules that tackles gambling even if it's their country team that will benefit from it.

And for those teams or companies, they can also strengthen through their own adoption through selling merch and accept payments in crypto.
Sponsorships or something correlated to it had been already targetted out which does means that this method is already still a no-go.So it would vary totally with the government.

I dont see up about been strengthen with crypto because its just too impossible that it cant really be noticed if ever there are imposed restrictions.
For some specific sports, it just lessened but it's not a 'no-go'.

Look at those casinos that keep on sponsoring sporting events and teams, they are still there so even with the potential ban that's being worried by everyone.

There's no way to stop those casinos supporting and giving sponsorships to any event and sports that they like and has a wide reach.

i don't think the casino sponsorships will be wiped out. a lot are still sponsoring some leagues or individuals. it is just a matter of what jurisdiction they will collaborate with. let's admit that the sports industry also need these casinos to survive. even their athletes need this as this is another source of their income. if they are paying what is due, then, i guess should have no problem with that.
let's take for example, if the crypto casino is located in el salvador, what do you think will be their approach regarding sponsorships in sports? i guess, they will be very accommodating. so if one closes the door, there will be a lot that will open doors for these casinos' sponsorships.

Hope you are aware of the fact that blockchain and cryptocurrencies are two different entities as their applications are complete different and may serve different solutions in most cases. Cryptocurrencies are just another mode of payments but blockchain adoptions into sport could do more efficient and non-alterable data management without any interruption from any kind of authorities.

As of now, I am not seeing any crypto casino is making use of blockchain for any of their need but simply adopting cryptocurrencies for getting its gamblers more convenient way for deposing and withdrawing funds. I guess we must need another decade of time before we do experience the real application of blockchain in casino and in sports
There are casino who have their own blockchain or their own coins to verify their bets, we can’t deny the fact that many online gamblers now may it be in sport or plain gambling casino uses cryptocurrencies to gain customers trust since blockchain provides a good way to verify bets and results. We just don’t usually use their own token since we focus in playing itwith EOS,BTC or other coins that already prove their value.
Really? It's an effort to see a gambling platform that developed their own blockchain to support and verify the bets. I mean, is it really possible because do you think it'll gonna be a waste of effort since the platform might get low users and eventually the platform will be closed? Blockchain isn't very easy to developed and just being used in a gambling platform.

Through sponsorships, sports bookies, accepting salaries in the form of cryptocurrencies. These are some of those use cases that can be applied to any sports.

If you haven't seen it yet, there are a lot of sports book already that have been sponsoring teams and individual in different sports of their niche.
As years are going, more firms and individuals are becoming aware about the importance of cryptocurrency and I know that will time every will turn to cryptocurrency transactions. Even the normal Fiat we are using now for business transactions and paying of salaries will be gone soonest. Crypto will become more safer in transactions attracting large adoption of it making people to embrace it than Fiat.
Unless a big crisis happens to most big countries and people do not trust their government, they will start to use crypto, but fiat will still exist among us. After all, it still needs more time for people to use crypto legally in their country because the government needs to research for more before they accept crypto. The people's awareness will increase that crypto is not just for buying and selling in the market but also for paying salaries in crypto form.

Many crypto sports betting sites sponsoring the teams and individuals can open people's eyes to see the crypto ads and if they often see those ads, that can make them curious. The curiosity will lead them to research and find out more about crypto.
