I also think that lending will play a big part in the future when it comes to cryptocurrency. That's why I have invested in Ethlend (Lend). Your coins serve as collateral, which inmho will appeal to the masses, since you can get credit almost instantly without having to sell your portfolio.
Which is more appealing than selling your coins in order to give yourself a credit (with the money you got from selling your coins). Here you keep your account intact, which serves as some kind of psychological pressure to pay off your credit on time every month.
If you sell your coins you spend the money, the money is gone and there is not enough pressure to put a certain amount of money away in order to buy another coin portfolio in the future.

Spectre - as some of you said, this private coin is the best private coin taking into consideration only technology, marketing is planning to start next year. I see it as a posible rival for monero or dash in a near future.

There is money to be made and lost in crypto. I am sure any trader here has made mistakes and sold too early or got the jitters and sold when the price is dropping for it to then turn around and pump.

I disagree. It depends on how long you want to wait and how time you want to put in. I find that spotting the newly launches ICO's that dump in the first week is a great way to make 10x. Just scoop up the dumped coins for projects you like and wait.

Oyster Pearl just went up 60x from half a penny to 30 cents in the past 3 weeks. It also should be $5 at some point.

So are moonshots and golden grail 100x over? Not even close. There's still 400x coins out there.

Right and this is one of the reasons I look more at the marketcaps than just trying to hold any coin with a huge cap and then a low value which would really take a long one for investors to even get the best from it.

I have been looking around lately and I noticed projects like BAT, COSS, WAVES and some few other ones in the market are good projects with very low value right now and I would not even want to miss that ride when they start.

IMO it doesn't make sense to left money sitting/waiting for special 100x return coins.

Invest in things where you think you'll make profit. If you double it in a month it is great.

I have made some nice money with ltc. It is volatile but quite predictable (or I was lucky), what I like.

Few people mentioned spectercoin. I wouldn't say it is better than Monero, but I like it better than other privacy coins tech wise, and I think it had a nice future, and is good long term investment.

Verge, I think one can still make money with it, short term at least.

Long term Golem token also looks like a reasonable investment IMO.

It is true that cheap coins often provide nice return, but also coins which went > 1$ can be very good investment, especially if they have something to offer. Look cloakcoin. Who bought if for even 4 - 5$ made good investment, not to mention Monero. In this regard, as privacy coin, I think that spectrecoin has a bright future ahead of it.

Its the XSpec Rocket, i have good hopes for this coin, although my doubts if it will in the end win from monero.

100x is still achievable, you just have to be more patient. For one some easy 10-20x returns will come around after the next crash. When the market next crashes just pick already good projects like monero and wait for them to recover and bull in the next run. For really big 100x returns you might have to wait years if you don't want to take major risks with low cap coins. But some coins like Monero, Ethereum and even Bitcoin could still go 50x from today's prices. I think ETH even has potential to 100x from today's price if we're looking 5-10 years down the road.
