I belive that,It is actually very difficult to say which cryptocurrency is the best for an investment. There are different strategies that you can use for a long term investment and the first one is to invest on the top 10 cryptocurrencies by Market Cap.I prefer two coin. 1.XRP, 2.NEO.

You can take a risk and invest in NEO and TRON. These projects have very strong teams, which sooner or later will make their coins the leaders of the entire market.
Some of the coins I suggest for holding and have good future are NEO and ETH, I always recommend to divide money into different types of coins because we never know how the future of the coin, becauase many case that coin proven scam.

Bitcoin and Waves are good options, however, there are some other options also I am looking forward to EOS and NEO, I think both have the potential to increase in coming months.

I really like two coins, this is EOS and NEO, I think that between them you need to scatter your funds, 50 to 50.
As of today, I think both Ethereum and NEM are the best altcoins to invest right now. First and foremost, Ethereum is now on the second phase in which they would improve the blockchain’s scaling and to control the network congestion like what we have in the past couple of weeks. As for NEM (XEM), their technology is superb and still young, but now in the top 20 altcoins of today. There are projects from various niches who are starting to use the NEM blockchain.
