Based on coininfoline.com and coinmarketcap 5 top coins ie bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, bitcoin cash and litecoin. The top 5 ranking is based on sales and investment value.

For me the top 5 that makes me amaze are
1.BTC
2.Eth
3.XMR
4.Neo
5.Monero

Instead of worrying about these many coins and keeping track of all simultaneously, much better will be to replace them all with only one crypto currency that can produce more profit than any of these or even collectively. Skipping bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and such potential crypto currencies means wait for decades to make some real progress. Buy one bitcoin and hold it till the end of this year, earn a profit of at least 20k dollars. It is much better than going for five different coins.

My choices will be Ethereum, NEO, and Ripple because only these three coins are very appealing for me. Since Bitcoin price is also down, I might reconsider to buy some.

Among this coins there are huge currencies is will be future demand in my research.So,it's really difficult to identify who coin is top 5.Whatever i describe top 5 best coins in my looking.

4.OmiseGo
5.Waves

I suggest you buy bitcoin, ethereum, populous, tether and ltc. because the coin is the best coin with a normal price other than that the coin is a coin that has a good future investment.

1- AMBROSUS (AMB). x20 at least EoY
Why? One of the best teams out there. The OG's of IoT. Tokenomics will be updated next month.
They have confirmed Master Nodes. At this price it is an absolute steal. The team said they should easily reach VEN levels MC.
Parterships, not disclosed, however, some people have been doing research and it seems they have really, really big things going on.
Also, swiss.

2- Skycoin (SKY). x10 EoY
Synth and the rest of software devs are some of the most well considerd in the cryptospace. They believe it will reach 800 in more or less a year.
Bunch of child coins are already on the works.

3- Oyster Pearl (PRL). x10-15 EoY
Airdrop in a few days, but most importantly, Main net in a month. The team and main SW dev are really transparent.

4- Icon (ICX) - an easy x5.
As the the ceo calls it, the next Samsung in Korea. They have 600+ people working for them full time. They will go all the way.

5 - Ethereum
With the updates comming up, a x3-4 will be easy.

Now it is very difficult to choose coins for investment. The market is bearish and this causes panic sales. I would recommend refraining from investing in alt coins atm. You can invest only after a market reversal.

Why dont you Add some more coins like NXT, Wave , NEO and LTC ! XRP need some more time to rise ETH and XLM unpredictable , other  side ADA relativity with ETH ! and Siacoin got many rumors

I think the answer is quiet simple, just look at the top five market cap list, that is the choices from most investor, I think these coins are suitable for long term investment, but for short term investment, you can buy some new coins like ht and eos.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

I really like these picks. Maybe the only change i would do is add Vechain along with Waltonchain since they are pretty much solving the same problems and belong to the same sector.
