Ripple, LTC and EOS have been consistently doing better than others apart from Bitcoin. Bitcoin is currently facing a consolidation but I think the scenario will change soon. With recent improvements and more good news coming up in the next few months I think Bitcoin will be able to break the 8,000$ resistance once again.
IOTA, Ripple and LTC has been doing good for a long time in this market. It is very hard to maintain such consistency when the market is showing ups and downs every now and them. But, I think Bitcoin will still overcome all the shortcomings of recent market situation and make all the investors happy very soon.
top of cryptocurrency in August 2018 still bitcoin because bitcoin is in the top position and leader of the cryptocurrency. but there are the other coins that can following bitcoin and this coin have the potential to increase higher. I still choose bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash, eos, cardano, xrp, iota, trx, litecoin, and monero. this coin is in the top twenty list from coinmarketcap, and each coin still competes until now. but if bitcoin does not increase, the other coin will not grow too, and it's waiting for bitcoin to gets up.
Market conditions are indeed coming down again, but we must still hope that in the future it will be better, like eos will become a big potential coin, and I think bitcoin must immediately increase.

I don't like to invest a lot of money in crypto because there is a lot of money being circulated in there like everyday.

In my opinion, it will always a good buy especially when the price is dropping, It has the best community support and and all coins follow Bitcoin's price to some extent I still consider Bitcoin the best buy at whatever price it is, you are not into cryptocurrency if you are not a bitcoin holder.

I think the market is still a bear market in August, and the market may go down again. We must be mentally prepared. As for investing in cryptocurrencies, I think we should not worry, and wait for the market to stabilize and reinvest more.
Ethereum, IOTA looks good, i suppose
Stellar lumens is being very promising so far and there is actually a good market for this crypto out there due to it’s being the first ledger protocol which is distributed. And it gives more focus on security of transactions too.

I think by far bitcoin is the most established crypto currency and it is quite easy to invest in bitcoin. And we give a quick look on the price chart then over one month BTC.X has gained 20.64%.
I will stick with BTC. So definitely I will buy BTC. In recent times BTC price has fallen but hopefully soon it will hit the market again. If I have to choose a 2nd option then it will be alt coin.
I would like to mention IOTA. Their market capitalization is around $2.5 billion USD. IOTA is highly scalable along with this it provides free cost of transactions and purchasing method is very hassle free in IOTA.
Stellar Lumens is the best. It is a great platform for all the crypto users who are thinking of their next investment. Especially how this company solve the security related challenges is so much useful.
I will choose bitcoin only if I have a huge money. I don't expect bitcoin to drop dramatically as many people want, but I want to have lots of money to buy it. I only saw last year, $ 900 to $ 20,000 a significant increase, that's the reason I chose only bitcoin to be an investment place.

Unfortunately, I don't think valuable bitcoin cash is one of them. Bitcoin cash as a fork for bitcoin is no stranger to most investors. Bitcoin cash's fast transaction confirmation and low fees already have the strength to compete with bitcoin.
EOS is one of the best and efficient blockchain technology in recent time. Their using procedure is very simple. In terms of security breaches user can easily recover their accounts. EOS allows user to make transaction with zero of fees.
