1135 blocks were secretly mined as well after the 25,000 premine, you can see on the block explorer that the chain moved about 1135 blocks from march 20th - april 3rd
I've mined some, so it was not that secret
But I've tried today, very hard to hit a block with 3xr9 280x...

1135 blocks were secretly mined as well after the 25,000 premine, you can see on the block explorer that the chain moved about 1135 blocks from march 20th - april 3rd... then it stops until april 29th when one more block was mined, then nothing until the ann came out... With the reward going down after every 5000 blocks I would say secretly mining the first 1135 on top of the 25,000 premine is very fishy to me...
Also, before May 4th when it was released to everyone, someone was staking quite a bit...

Thats the old thread, and yes you are right, around 3000 coins was POS mined when we moved POS 4000 blocks back. Those coins will be used for giveaways, random bounties or just burned,
Ok, that helps a lot of those questions, if you have a second ann for a coin I would suggest in the future to always have a link to the old ann in the OP so that people are not confused.

I admire the persistence of this dev. He could have hidden behind another username but he didn't and still strive to make this coin going. I hope you don't change the graphics though because I like it But it's your project....so it's up to you.

Topaz Coin is created as community coin using the HMQ1725 algorithm, which aims to ensure that mining enthusiasts with even a simple personal computer can join the bandwagon of miners. A hybrid cryptocurrency, it has a PoW rewards of 1 for the first 5000 blocks and decreases by 0.1 per subsequent 5000 blocks and remains at 0.1 after the 40000th block and beyond.
