It is not the end of August. The rate at which he was accumulating donors means he is at several million. He has (or had) raised > $100 million and if an average donation less than $200, so it is roughly 5+ million.
You obviously don't live in the USA if you think Trump isn't very popular.
Regarding the second point i would disagree.
Under the premise that TPTB controls most of our society even if several fake donors would try to leak the story there would be just to many ways to shut them down (i.e. COINTELPRO, death etc.).

Do the TPTB control you absolutely? They don't control my every day decisions. The banksters control some aspects of the macro economics, but they can't possibly micromanage every individual's life.

See if you read the politico article they are explaning the donation amount and the amount of donators pretty precise in relation to the armstrong article.

Even if there are 5 million "trump donators" (which is not true see above) that is less then 2% of the US population and less then 0.1% of the world population.
Whoever gets out of line could get easily dealt with.
