investment is so far easier honestly, you missed the opportunity of selling or the coin that you invested is dumping so hard what you need to do is just wait it out and you will make your investment back even with some profits meanwhile with trading you missed chance or opportunity of dumping you most likely gonna be losing otherwise your money become investment to that coin instead if you are deciding to just hold.
overall trading is more exhausting, and the profit I think isn't necessarily larger than investment but it definitely generates money faster and in short period of time compared to investment.
but even then nowadays investment like in binance launchpad like that usually also have massive return within short term time so I think regarding profitability rate, its still kind of confusing.
Yes, you will not lose money if you do not sell it while it is in a drawdown, but what if this drawdown lasts for years, three or five years, or what if after such a drawdown the price never returns to its previous level? Now I’m talking not only about Bitcoin, but also about some shitcoins, which can bring a lot of problems.

In trading, everything will happen much faster, and after a losing trade you can move on, you don’t have to wait several years. But if you buy Bitcoin in a bear market for the long term, then most likely you will be very good at making larger profits than most traders, if the statistics are to be believed.

In addition, we can invest a significantly larger amount in Bitcoin than the amount we allocate for trading, so this can also imply greater profit for a long-term investment.

"I've been on a journey to understand cryptocurrencies better. I've come across the ongoing debate between trading and investment. Traders claim it offers control and potential for quick gains, but it's not without risks and demands constant monitoring. Investors, on the other hand, prefer the steadiness of long-term growth, with the flexibility to exit when needed, all without the stress.

For those considering crypto involvement, assessing your risk tolerance and trading capabilities is crucial. Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is a wise strategy, reducing the impact of market volatility. It's a method where you consistently invest a fixed amount, regardless of market conditions.

Ultimately, the choice between trading and investing depends on your risk appetite and time commitment.

Now over to you reader, which aspect of bitcoin is best or worst experience? Where are you good at! Trading or investment? Bursts our brain with your expertise
Should have good knowledge for both investing and trading. But trading requires more intelligence and knowledge than investing. Investing should be done for a long time, if you invest for a long time, you can expect more profit. Chances of loss on investment are less. But should not invest in altcoins, it is better to invest in bitcoins. Trading is done for a limited period of time. Traders buy when the market is down and sell when there is some profit. Investing is also risky but trading is slightly more risky. I have invested in Bitcoin. I prefer investing to trading.
It seems you are the same as me. Because I am also more focused on my investment in bitcoin. And I very rarely do trading activities. Although I also do it sometimes, like on weekends or when I'm off from work. But that's just to hone my experience and insight in trading analysis.

I personally am still aware that my analytical skills are not good enough. So I prefer not to get too involved in trading except a little. I invest most in bitcoin but I also don't deny that I also invest in several altcoins which I hope will provide multiple profits in the upcoming bull run market.

Investing and trading are two distinct ways of making money from financial markets. Investing means buying and holding a portfolio of stocks for an extended length of time at the right time. Trading is the frequent buying and selling of stocks to profit from price fluctuations driven by supply and demand considerations as well as overall market mood. But investors with long-term holdings are better positioned to diversify their investments and reduce the risk of large losses. Learn about trading before trading traders who buy and sell only a few popular stocks have less diversified portfolios, so the movement of any one stock has a greater impact on their financial health.

Although trading requires more knowledge, technical skill, and a firm mind, you can't say that investing doesn't require knowledge. You also, and most importantly, need to think before investing about what you're investing in and whether you know what you are investing in. Are you sure that you will profit from it, etc. You have to consider many things before investing. It also requires knowledge, as you will conduct a series of analyses to determine whether that investment would be profitable. You say the loss in investment is less? I think not, wrong investment, and it will cost your money.

It's easy to say that way, but trading is too risky; it is not slightly. This is an opinion from someone who does trading. I'd say trading is a nightmare if you don't have enough knowledge, technical skill and other aspects. So trading is more risky than investing, but both have risks.

It's easier said than done, and from what I know of trading and investment, you can get more money in trading, but it comes with a higher risk as well, while the risk in investment is lower and can over time hand you a moderate amount of return depending on the asset. You will need extensive learning and training for trading and must be sure of knowing the rudiments of self-control, money and risk management and how to effectively plan your trading system and portfolio as a whole.

These are no joke in the real sense, which is why I always prefer investments for those who are of the faint mind. They may think they will win but might end up losing money. But investment still gives somewhat rest of mind and fewer tasks from your side, particularly if the asset does not fail.

Both trading and long-term investment can be profitable...

Trading Can be profitable for those with a deep understanding of markets, technical analysis, and a willingness to actively manage positions. It involves short-term buying and selling to capitalize on price fluctuations.

Otherwise Investment Typically involves a long-term approach, where assets are held for an extended period. Historically, long-term investments in assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies have shown the potential for significant returns over time.

The choice between trading and investment depends on your risk tolerance, time commitment, and financial goals.

Exactly,  both are profitable if you can maximize the usages of each venues, like what you mentioned,  trading is a never-ending learning process as volatility and market movements are very important to anticipate the possible next market run, either bull or bear if you know how to anticipate the right way you can position yourself and earn decent benefits.

While with investment,  it can be a long-term position that you need to wait to matured then enjoy the maximum potential growth of your investment.

Both have risks but both can also be profitable depending on how we deal with every market situation. You can actually do both at the same time, you only need to be knowledgeable of doing both things.
You can make a good profit through trading if you will never stop learning and adapting new strategies and you can also earn in investing if you know how to buy and sell at the perfect timing. Both could provide you with a good profit if you will have the eagerness to continuously learn as it's a long process of learning.

Indeed. Both trading and investing require sufficient knowledge. It is impossible to invest or to trader properly if we have no sufficient knowledge. That's why we never begin trading or investing if we still have lack of knowledge. We often saw many suggestions in this forum that the beginners must focus on learning first before they buy-sell crypto on the market. It is absolutely true, knowledge is the basic thing to have both for investment or trading.

Regarding how long we invest in a coin, it depends on our goal. Each person has his own goal, there is a person who wants to earn fast profits ad there is a person who wants to hold coins for long term profits. However, the point is how to choose the right coins for our investments. Surely Bitcoin is the most recommended coin, but I think it is okay tp invest in altcoins as well. As long as the altcoins have strong fundamentals and have no bad issues, the altcoins deserve to choose for our investments. Commonly, people prefer to invest in the top altcoins that have the strongest fundamentals.

In fact, in investing, intelligence and knowledge are really needed, just like you need it when trading. I also tend to choose investing over trading because of many factors, but to choose a good investment, we need research, analysis, long-term calculations, and others. I see a lot of people underestimating investment until they are deceived in an investment. I feel that investing and trading have many similarities, it's just that in trading we buy and sell in a faster time period.
You can choose both actually because in investing, you wont really be that needing to be actively be dealing on what you are investing but rather you would really be just simply sitting idle and wont really be doing

something and this is why it would really be that wise that you should really be that trying out to utilize your time and your money via doing other thing like making up some trading while you are waiting for your investment profits but since not all people would really be that risks takers or someone who could really be having that good tolerance when it comes to risks. This is really why we are really seeing on the
different decisions that had been made because not all would really be that confident on doing so.

This is why choices would really vary on each individual because not all would really be that so confident on doing so on which i couldnt blame them on because losing money is never been giving that good feeling
but in speaking about progress then you wont really be finding yourself that having those kind of movement if you do sit still and play safe.

Well, both need a piece of good knowledge about things and superior intelligence to make a handsome amount of profit. You have to work more to excel in trading because you will need to learn analytical and technical skills. On the other hand, an investor also needs to brainstorm his ideas regarding the best investment options. Investment is a bit safer option than trading, but the profit margin is also less. Trading is riskier, but when looking at the profit margin and earning potential, I think it is better to take some calculated risk.

There are many things that need to be understood before we start trading or investing. If we don't really understand both of them, it's a good idea for us to choose which area we are good at so that if we do, we don't experience big losses. If we understand these two things, it will certainly benefit us a lot do both of these things.
Of course, we must have sufficient knowledge first. It is the first thing to do before we begin an investment or trading. We must know that investing or trading in crypto is high risk, it is just stupid idea to do it with lack knowledge. Regarding the possibility of losses, it is something hard to avoid totally. There should be time when we can't avoid a loss. But it is true that we can avoid big losses if we understand how crypto works.

I'm sure it is difficult to understand both if we are still a beginner. We must focus on an investment or trading first. Since trading seems more difficult to understand, I think we are better to focus on an investment firstly when we are in the early of our journey on crypto.

It is a good decision to invest 50% of the Bitcoin you have for the long term because it will be needed later and we will see a surge in Bitcoin next year when the Halving will happen. The new ATH is the most anticipated target for all long-term investors.

When you are trading and investing it is a good way to go.
It is not easy to start trading at first.
You have to understand how the crypto market works because of the high volatility.

Short, medium, or long-term can be chosen whichever suits you.
Short-term will give you quick profits but also give you quick losses, depending on how you manage and understand the market well.

Investing will be much safer than trading, if we are talking about futures, then a beginner will most likely lose more than he will earn, if it is spot trading then the chances are higher, but the risk of losing money will also be present, because short-term trading requires making many transactions and you need to understand that not all of them will be profitable.

Investing is simpler, especially when it comes to buying Bitcoin, you buy it and hold it until you reach your goal. In this case, the main task is to achieve a good entry price and if you store the coins correctly, you should not have any other difficulties and you also do not need to waste time analyzing charts and making trades.

If I may add my opinion, investing may be more appropriate for those who have large or small funds and have a level of financial security that they are not worried about, essentially they don't want to bother scalping and only have long-term goals for savings funds. These investment activists usually put their funds in BTC or leading coins and do not carelessly put them in shitcoins. In my opinion, investment is a safe, comfortable and easier option to undertake than trading. Even though it looks simple, sometimes people who want to make long-term investments also need to master technical and fundamental analysis in order to optimize profits. This analysis is certainly useful for determining which support levels are good for entering or making purchases.
There's no such thing about considered safe in talks about trading and investing but on the sense that we are talking about the level of risks then we could really be able to say that trading is really that risky because you are really that dealing with volatility actively on which means that you would really be needing up to face and act accordingly basing up with those movements or else then you would really be finding yourself on big problem on which you would really be that prone on losing money in a short time if you do make out some bad decisions in regarding with your position.

In choosing in between two then you could actually choose two of them on which it would really be just that right if you do have both as long your capital permits you because not all would really be that having that capability and capacity when it comes to financial knowing that both things requires capital and if you do have this then its not bad to go with both options. You could
always be having the choice if you do want.

It depends on a person what he can afford. Trading could be an opportunity to them who have small amount but sharp knowledge in this field but if a person can afford both then investing is the best option. Cause it needs lesss knowledge in comparison of trading which requires deep knowledge. Otherwise it can be a high risk activity for a person. I like investing cause i still have a lot to from for being a good trader
this is always my take , specially from people who needs to decide.

Why choose one when we can have them both?

- half of your funds must be in Investing meaning Lobg term holding, (but you must know and ready to wait)

- another half must be a capital in trading , buy and sell the coins you believe will survive in the net 24 hrs of market bullying.

more people may be more active in doing both. but have you ever seen anyone think they are only lucky in one area? Everything can be learned, but sometimes people feel that they are more fortunate in a particular field when they have tried two or more times in doing something.
Likewise with investment or trading. people may be able to do both, but sometimes they always fail in investing and on the contrary always profit in trading. Or maybe on the contrary there are those who always fail in trading but profit in investing. So maybe that's the reason why there are people who don't do both.
As long you could really be able to handle your risks management then you would definitely be choosing on dealing with both on which means that you would really be liking on touching up these areas since you do

know that you could really be able to grasps some chance on acquiring that state on financially freedome once you do able to take a good grasps of it.This is why tons of people would really be finding out ways
on dealing even multiple areas as long they do have the money that they could make use of such as capital whether on trading and at the same time you would really be dealing up with some investment or business which it isnt really that a bad thing or much preferred as long you could really be able to handle yourself on this one. Its a matter of choice on which one you would be taking but if you could do both. Then why not?

There are really just those people who are really that not willing to take risks just because they are really that afraid that they might lose money which its unavoidable but whats important is that you do
really able to make yourself that sustain despite of those losses or simply being able to survive despite of the condition. Deal things which you do seem that it would benefit you in
long term but dont expect that this would really be an easy path for you to take.
