I think you should focus on trading because all we know that it is profitable than promoting. And I think trading is more safe and secured rather than promoting because there are so many scam project that you will encountered now in promoting so you will waste your time. Unlike in trading you don't have any superior that you need to follow. Only you need to do and to follow is to have a good strategies and plan.

What you need to know is that trading has a high risk, you can become rich and poor in the world of trading. If you are not ready for that risk, I suggest you become a promoter, for example, being a bounty hunter. Bounty hunters do not have a significant risk.

I must say a very big thank you to all forum members because I have learnt a lot from their different opinions however, am still not stable on the part I should actually stick to Trading I ask about most of the responds are discouraging about losing funds high risk and all the rest in Marketing aspect I find out that most of the IEO/ICO turned scam in most cases. The question is I really picked interest in Trading but my intention was to work as marketer/Promoter and get paid in the crypto industry but based on different opinions and some research I can't really tell which of the above will be suitable. I really need opinions here thanks.

First of all, you must determine in advance the interests you like. In my opinion, Trading is a challenging activity. But not everyone can succeed in trading. Because many things must be learned before trading. To be sure, you must be prepared to lose money when trading.

The important thing here is he needs to learn more about trading so he can trade well like other people, and he can make a profit in the short term or long term. But if he wants to promote the project, he needs to realize that now many projects become a scam and run away the money they've got from the investor. So that will not be advisable if he still promotes the project while he can still make a profit from trading.

If he can learn some basics lessons of trading, he can slowly make a profit depend on the market moves. And now, we are in the changing trend from the bear market into the bull market, and I think his profit will be bigger if he continues to learn about trading.

If you want to do trading then learn it first because you may lose all your funds if your knowledge is not enough on how it works, its easy to trade but when to know the right time to buy and sell is the hard part. About marketing or promotion you can start doing bounties here for free and get paid in tokens but it's not guaranteed.

Not everyone is suitable for trading because trading requires analytical skills and also patience to get profit. For some people, trading may be profitable but actually there is a tough process that they go through

actually not as difficult as you think, for me trading has become my hobby every day I always do this side job besides hunting tokens. the most important thing in trading depends on your intentions, your beliefs, your emotional attitude control, your initial capital, the coins or exchanges you want to use, and the important thing is not greedy.

You can do both of them at the same time.

In trading, you don't spend most of your time trading unless you are a scalper which is you need to watch the charts every minute or hour depending on your trade style.

In marketing, you don't spend most of your time there too. Just post something on social media sites or speak to other people regarding the product you have and that's it. Either way, just do both of them to have 2 sources of income.

If you can do both at the same time why not utilize your time. Trading is full of risk and you might need some money for you to trade from time to time. You can also do your part-time job while trading since it is not really necessary that you have to spend your whole day trading. Maximizing your time and income opportunity will be able to make you earn more profit than focusing on just one.

I think you should treat this like hobby. Do what you' like to do. Both trading and bounty are profitable enough if you are a professional here. But to become a professional you should love this job.

I think you should stick in trading if you believe in your skills as a trader,
But they are right trading have a risk and your money is on the line there unlike in marketing/promotion.
You only invest your time and your effort but most of the project nowadays is a scam.

I think that you need to work as a marketer, because trading is too risky and as a marketer you can earn more than traders.

if you have communication skills, you can try to become a local admin in the global community, you can apply to volunteer first, there you will be paid more than just a regular promoter.

it is better for you to research ieo projects compared to ico, especially for projects in the binance forum incubation. many potential projects that can be researched, and can contact their development team directly. You can also trade at the same time and focus on affiliate programs. don't give up on taking every opportunity you have.

actually you want to trade or want to work as a marketer / Promoter? . if you want to trade, make sure you have at least basic knowledge on how to analyze the crypto market, the price of coins, exchanges, your capital, and many other things.
but if you want to work as a marketer / promoter you must be prepared for all the risks that occur if the project that you follow, ends in fraud, you are not paid, the project is stopped and others.
these are all forms of risk and market challenges. if you are not ready with that, then you can invest safely using bitcoin.

Many suggest here that you can do both and that is because when you invest on a project, being part of the promotion of it helps not just the project but also the chances of yoy gaining more in the investment. It will be optimal to contribute some manpower if you think you can help and by doing this, you can also learn a lot more about the project and meet other people and their opinions about it.

You could do both like if you think that you can manage it together. If you like to be on the promotion side of the industry more, it will be good because there will be a lot of theoretical knowledge to be learn. Meanwhile in trading, the practical experience will be your teacher. If you are being discouraged by the news and current state of the maket in trades, it will be a sign that you are not yet ready for the risks and emotional baggage of trading. Better to stick on your comfort zone and decide tomorrow whether you will like to be a trader.

definitely being a participant in a bounty campaign is less risky than being an investor in the same ICO / IEO. but you can’t just work in one direction. you need to learn how to work in several ways

Well, if you want to do marketing/promotion of one exchange the best way to go is affiliate programs, almost all big ones have some sort of affiliate program where anytime you bring in a trader they will give you a share of the trading fee that person does. I have done that with binance when it first came out, of course it was a gold mine back then because people weren't registered to binance just yet but I still managed to get few good traders that still makes me money to this day.

In the end, if you can actually promote your affiliate link properly and get people sign up then you have a life long income, some people may leave but new ones will join and as long as you have some whales you will be set for life. All you need to know is how to advertise your link to right people.

Why not do both? It's not like marketing or trading will require your 100% attention like a full time clerical job. With trading you can have a monitor open in the background and you can watch for big market movements while you work on some marketing/promotion gigs.

You won't be earning much as a marketer/promoter tho, and I believe what you are referring to is doing "bounty campaigns." Not very profitable, or stable at all.

I still do both, dividing time for both is easy because the two are interconnected so exploring promotion information and trading can be done simultaneously. Now I do not recommend you to do marketing / promotion, as you know most projects fail, this will only waste a lot of your time.
