Trading is more profitable then become a promoter. One thing that you should know, to gain money in any way you will face a risky thing, you won't ever be avoid it. At least you have to know the strategy in order to you will be comfortable to decide anything when you trade. The capital thing you can spend a little money first.

Being a promoter you can do simultaneously because it doesn't need a long time to make a thread/review/comment or everything related to it. But you just need a broad knowledge, don't you forget there are a lot of project who end up in scam so as you need to know it and you have to make an analyst when you choose a project.

I know fully well life is all about risk but its better to learn something's from other persons experience with the respond here I can say that I can go for both Marketing/Promotion and Trading at the same time. I know too much questions is not to good but it has really helped me a lot. I will kicked start as soon as possible.

If you already have capital, I think you should just choose to trade, because it is clear that you can produce if you really know how to trade. But if you can't read the market and don't have capital, you can follow the bounty or airdrop and choose which is good and can pay by analyzing it first. At the beginning I jumped into the crypto world to become a bounty hunter and from the bounty I got capital to trade until now.

Great, I have startup capital but not much I think I need to start something the questions and opinion so far can really do me good in the industry thanks all for taking out time for answering my many questions.

I think you can take both of them, if you have enough capital and have lots of partners / relationships to promote the project. But it must also require sufficient expertise and experience, be able to bring interesting projects so that investors are interested in investing and can convince investors

if you want to dive into the world of trading then you have to be prepared to lose, because trading there is a risk that is altcoin / coins that we buy dumps, but now there are many on the website to learn trading and it's free, or you can also go to someone in your country to learn from it but we must look for teachers who are experienced too. but I suggest you can search the website about trading and if you have difficulty you can discuss in the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0

I bet being promoter is hard too as bounty hunter many will not earn unless the project succeeded. If for bounty managers they might get  a amount every month but if the project failed or get scam people or participants will lose trust on you. It might be good in profit but as long run and by not studying what you market or promote it will have a bad effect. Depending on our skill both can be done as trader and promotion.
Work has never been so easy from the start, do not work if you think it is too hard. About wasting time that was why I suggested him to work with something that already has a value or working in an existing company that offers him crypto as payment. You can find different sets of jobs here: https://crypto.jobs/, from marketing, developer, linguist.
do not work in an ICO or IEO project because right now it will only waste your time.

I must say a very big thank you to all forum members because I have learnt a lot from their different opinions however, am still not stable on the part I should actually stick to Trading I ask about most of the responds are discouraging about losing funds high risk and all the rest in Marketing aspect I find out that most of the IEO/ICO turned scam in most cases. The question is I really picked interest in Trading but my intention was to work as marketer/Promoter and get paid in the crypto industry but based on different opinions and some research I can't really tell which of the above will be suitable. I really need opinions here thanks.

Go where your interests are and not where all the money are, you can actually make profit and money on all three, but you will find it hard when you try to do something within your limit, go check your strong point and, and integrate any that will make you money, it doesn't have to be the popular one.
If you are good at analysis and can develop insight go for trading but you need a lot of time following the trend, if you are good at pitching and composing slogan and marketing materials go on marketing, as long as you can focus you will be successful.

trade, I still recommend trading for you. although learning crypto trading is no easier than a promoter / marketing. but it's good that you learn the crypto trade. the reason is, your time, your money, and the project you are promoting.
- You just waste your time on promotion
- I think, current promoters are not good, a lot of participation is not paid from it.
- I think the current project is bad, there is no ICO project to rely on.

difference between the two is clearly very far away ,trading must be capital but vice versa with marketing/promotion ,all of it must be along with mature knowledge so you must persevere with this ,my advice you just try to promote while learning what is trading anf all about knowledge

It's best to engage in both trading and promotions (bounties) if am to suggest, do not put all eggs in one basket. If you keep on procrastinating, you will never do anything tangible. Also, if you get discouraged to start, due to other people's experiences, then you are getting it all wrong. Some people will tell you that bounties no longer pay for example, yet they are wearing a signature, do you think they are fools? In essence start from somewhere. For trading start with little funds, don't go big from onset so that you will learn from initial mistakes. For promotion/marketing be sure to do thorough research before embarking on any.

Marketing and trading are completely different things.

I'm doin marketing at this moment. But I can say that trading is much more profitable. But to be able to trade you need to have a good analysis ability. To make money in the short term, marketing makes more sense, but in the long run, you can make more money by trading the money you earnt.

the first is capital then knowledge, if you already have capital you can trade with large volume coins and in large exchanges like Binance, provided you already have a basic knowledge of trading. if you have no knowledge at all about trading it's not a good idea, but it is your right, I personally only advise that you do not lose money quickly.

If you want to be a marketing / promoter you must have expertise first, because it is not easy if you are already professional in his field I am sure you will be contacted by the team to be a marketing crypto and industry, but if you are still a beginner I hope you try it for trading it would be better for you with minimal capital to be able to trade with profits every day.

actually depends on the adjustment, if you are able or have a lot of capital, in my opinion it is better to invest / trade. need to remember the greater the capital you trade, the greater the risk you burden.

Being a promoter or a bounty hunter is very easy, even this is the smallest risk / there is no risk, it's just that if you are not paid it is a waste of time in my opinion, this year the scammers have mastered this trend, different from 2017. So look for a project which is really real. Promoter work is very easy, even can be done at the same time when there are other jobs.

I will tell you to follow what you really wanted to do in this crypto sphere. If you wanted to work as a marketer/promoter then do it. Why are you asking people's opinion? If I say that do not engaged your self because you are not going to earn money?

But for me, you should stick on to something that will really make you happy here. Marketing is not that easy but if that is your goal and that is your dream so go for it, just saying.

If you dont want to take a risk or dont have enough money, better to start with working as marketer/promoter. Beside that, you can learn how to trade until you think its enough knowledge and start trading. its up to your passion.

Marketing or promotion you mean like a community manager for a certain project or a bounty hunter, perhaps?
If you're good with something like that, you could try contacting the team regarding bounty manager or the like or join some bounties.

True, with how ups and downs the market are, it's better not making it your main job. As for the risk, everything is risky if it involves money.

Working as a marketer or promotor is the best, you do not have to worry about the income because you get money from your work while in trading you will get money if you make a profit and there is a risk losing the capital. And working as a marketer allows you to do the trade too, it is win to win solution for me. Do not make trading as your source income because it is unstable and the earning depends on market situation.

Are you good at trading? I think if it's steady, do it. If you receive too many suggestions, it is also not good for your mental. I think you can do promotions too during trading sessions. Because it doesn't need a whole day to trade and you can access anytime anywhere with your phone. The results of the promotion can later be a backup of money for you too. Because trading is not entirely you will continue to profit, there must be a loss period.

It's easy, Do the trading if you have enough money. And if you have no money to invest then join bounty campaigns that you think will pay off and once you get paid you can invest it to get you started in trading.

But nowadays it's hard to find a bounty campaign that will actually pay you, so you can even find other things like freelance jobs that can pay you in bitcoin. You can also use your skill to find costumers who will provide you with a job.
