agree, what make people grow is how much experience he gain. passion will give you convenience in every way, because you love what you do, no matter what. when you can make salary from that thing, that is a good job for life, because we can turn job into money cause of passion. race with other people is obstacle, to make sure that your knowledge is great than other.

my friend like about editing stuff, he start learning and join in company that relate about it. now, he is really enjoy and expert on that field.

While this makes sense as a translator given the abundance of translation bounty opportunities on this forum, the issue is the competition and also how to build your reputation given the sheer volume of translators who have already established a name. I believe the thread's point is to highlight a skill, such as programming or something similar, that you can learn online or offline. Typically, we acquire these skills after graduating from college, and they serve as our primary weapon in securing a job that generates revenue.
There isn’t a place where it is easy. Even if you learn programming, it is not going to be easy for you to secure a job in that area. Programming is even one of the areas where there is a lot of competitions, there a are so many people with this skill and competing for jobs everywhere online, and companies are always looking for the very best that they can get and are not ready to just settle with any programmer that they can come across.

So if you keep looking at the rate of competition there is, you will end up not learning anything at all. Before learning any skill, the first that we should be asking ourselves is whether we love the particular skill that we are about to learn. If you really have passion for that skill, then you can go ahead and learn it. Always do things that you have passion, because your passion the only thing that will keep you going even at times when it is difficult.
Right. A skill without passion is useless because you can't maximize your skill if you are not totally attached in it. So if you have developed your own skill, make sure to use it more often with love and passion because that will make it more appealing to the people particularly to your clients. If they see your skills have high potentials to transform into profits, then it will also reflect on your personality as a good and expert one. If you can utilize it for the good and benefit of everyone, then i guess that will be more fulfilling in your part.

That there are no platforms for you to work doesn’t mean that you just sit around until you forgot the skills you have learnt. You can still be doing some personal projects to be refreshing your memory, so that you wouldn’t forget everything that you have learnt. And by doing so you are also creating projects that can as well serve as a sample to your potential clients, who might get interested based on the sample that they have seen and decide to hire you for the job. It all depends on the type of skill that you have learnt, if your skill is the type that you can offer on freelancing websites, then you should check them out and start seeking for opportunities there.

But, one thing you must know is that everything is a process, and it requires patience for you to get to that level you would want to get. You don’t just start immediately and become successful overnight, it takes hard work and patience for you to get there. I know it is always not easy, because I’ve also been through that part, I learnt photography and it wasn’t easy.

At the times when I had no job doing, I just focused more on acquiring more knowledge on photography to develop my skills further. It took me time but now I’ve gotten to the level I am meant to be at this point, and I also believe that in the nearest future to come I will be more than what I am today. Also, we shouldn’t forget to be part of investments and also try to have our savings as well. These things can be helpful at times.

Simple thing that we can transforming skill to profit, if you are good at translator, there are a lot of translate bounty, you can doing it solo or maybe with your friends to get best result. In past i joined my friend to join translation campaign, then we help each other to correct the result already good or not, and then if both of us already satisfied, we submit our task to managers.

The purpose of the discussion is for forum users who possess one form of skill or another and are making profit from it to share personal episodes of how they turned "Skill to Profit".

Most persons learning a new skill are often faced with the big question/challenge of turning their skill to profit. After acquiring a skill, truth is if there is no platform for you to practice and offer your services and also make profit, you may become less interested and efficient with the skill you learnt and it may soon be forgotten by you.

Please share personal episodes of how you, a skilled forum member has turned your skill to profit, so other forum members who are in between can benefit from your story.

That's nice to hear from your end about stories from one of an anonymous person like me, well my stories isn't that broad to share but it may sound interesting to others who still wanted to learn cryptocurrency. At first start crypto was just a piece of information, which my buddy used to share his ways of earning money. Secondly, I used to participate in the discussions gathering some knowledge absorbing every thoughts and principles from expert forum members. Lastly, managing my earned tokens and coins, learning how to trade also keeping it safe at my wallets then all the process towards converting it into fiat in order to spend for my personal needs as well as using funds in building my own house.

skills and talent have the potential to be profitable especially at this time NFT projects can help to sell one of your skills and this is an opportunity to earn profits that should not be wasted
Does that mean if you are a bartender, NFT projects can help to sell your skill? How and to whom?
I think the NFT is not relevant to the topic but relevant if we are talking about altcoins and since the topic is all about skills, you should share some of your skills that you turn into profit.

Trading for example is a skill that you can use in the market. Some people have different skills on their own so it's just up to them on how they would monetize it by offering their skills or results, such as drawing, painting, or digital art. You can be a programmer if you are a computer literate and so on.
Well, if you got a good trading skills, that will certainly lead you to a huge profit. Because we all know that trading crypto is the fastest way to accumulate profits, once you are already good and expert in it. Also, the fact that you have skills in some crypto jobs like a translator or a financial advisor, if you can improve it and utilize in a more positive way, then all your skills will definitely turn into profits. It does not matter how small or big the value, as long as you are making an income out of it, then you are still considered profitable.
Having skills and experience would really be putting you on advantage compared into those who havent and thats the lead you do have compared to others which you would mostly get hired or something when you are really that having the edge.

It would really be just normal for you to utilize those advantage for your benefit and also this is a continous learning and gaining experience
because theres no such thing about pinnacle in terms of trade.

I am not sure exactly what you're asking here but I'll give it a shot..as a financial advisor I've spent years studying markets/rules/regulations etc that have made me a good investor and someone who's been able to help out others for years.  Having these "skills" is something that I continue to build over time as the financial markets are not easy to "master", if anyone does such a thing.  So knowing investing principles have helped me make money as well as others.

It's really good to invest on yourself first before anything else. Your knowledge, wisdom, and skills are very much important and can be utilized in so many ways for you to profit from it. The process of making yourself better in different fields and crafts isn't a waste of time, money, and effort. You could use your skills to generate income. Some even made it possible to become their bread and butter. It's really just about how you do it and how you strategize.

Given the modern age that we are in right now, a lot of seminars and studies are up either in physical classes or online. What you got to do is to grab the opportunity and enrich yourself. I have read and heard several testimonials already about making your skills and crafts into something enjoyable and at the same time, money-making. And what fascinates me more about each time I hear transforming skills into money generating way is that they got to control their schedule which means they still got to do what they want whenever they want. Most of the time, this is common in the freelancing world. The people there either have natural talent which is inborn, or they honed their skills to make a living. Knowing what your niche is would be a good thing to acquire clients and projects. By using your skills and talents, you experience happiness and fulfillment at the same time, you earn money. It's a win-win situation.

It started small..after someone saw my stuff and it grew bigger and bigger and now I can make some profits from my work. I cannot do it full-time because it will not pay the bills.. but I am working on it.  Wink

Except if you kind of not sure of yourself. If you started small and someone saw your work and liked it then showed it to someone else and you got more patronage then you can be better on it, expound and employ more hands you see at the end of the day you turn out to be an employer not just an artisan but some master teaching others and getting paid for doing what you enjoy doing. What you need is more zeal to your hard work and you can make it bigger.
If you are still starting to improve your skill, then expect that the profits will also start with a little amount and eventually turn it into a bigger and massive one once your skill has been perfected and already created a huge interest on the part of your clients. You have to keep improving your skill through utilizing it more often because as time goes by, your skill will turn out into an expertise. And with the expertise you have, that will lead into attracting more interest which in the latter part, will reward you through good profits.
That's how it is and it goes back to ourselves how we manage skills,
don't feel complacent with the skills we already have and keep improving them,
The more skills you have, the greater the opportunity to make a profit

There are so many skills that can be transformed to money which many persons are still skeptical of. Don't be surprised that those skills that well think at nothing are the one that are becoming valuable in the society.  We learn, gain skill and use it to acquire money that can be use food taking care of ourself. We don't have to gain the trending skills, we can always s maximize the one we have and make use of it to bring great value.
I also think that each of us has definitely individual skills, its just that some of them were ignored and won't even have chances to get nourished. But if you are good enough to think that your skills can bring profits on your part, then you should learn to develop it more and enhanced because that will also reflect the worth of your rewards or profits in the long run. As long as you love what you are doing, then you will most likely to improve it not just for yourself but also for others to be utilized and make profits.
I'm sure everyone has their own skills and it's much better when those skills are used to make a profit,
but not everyone can manage his skills and it's really a pity,
what you say is true they need to learn to develop it and it takes a definite intention
Learning to know and learning to develop the skills that we have is certainly something that is quite good but the average person will be confused when asked what expertise is in what field.
This is not without reason, They are confused by their strengths because they do not dig deeply about the skills they have. If they are serious, I don't think something like this will happen, but the problem is that we try too much of something new and forget the goals we want to achieve so that one competency has not been completed, we have created something new.

In my opinion, what's more important is need to be profitable with our talents. Profit doesn't necessarily mean earning more money, it is putting the talent into good use and achieving results that's good and beneficial to society/others.    I use mine independently and I do not stop until result is achieved. I honestly don't expect rewards from those my talents benefit because that can't be guaranteed. I get the rewards from the GIVER of the talents.
I actually have couple jobs i earn from in this manner.

If we can continue to develop the skills we have, it can be very helpful to be able to generate profits. Because in any case people who have
the knowledge and skills are much easier to make money. So we must not stop learning to be able to develop the skills we have, because if
we don't develop the skills we have, we can lose to compete with others. Especially in a situation like now where it is very difficult to find a job,
we must work hard to develop the skills we have. Do the best we can to develop skills, so that we can really maximize the skills we have.
Would really be just sensible for you to develop your skills because you do know that you could really be having that advantage
which it would really be a normal step for you to take and mind off which is to enhance to make yourself to be better
and having chance on getting hired or get some jobs if you do apply since you are professional on something like that.
So do all your best on having these skills and having more w ould be an advantage.
