The best way I think to turn your skill profitable for yourself, is hard work, so many professions and skills out there and their are even more people with abilities to fill it in, so now it's a competition, so in other to turn your skill profitable you have to do more than your closest competitors, at this point you go extraordinary, normal people sleep and want to relax, that's when you distinguish yourself, work more time than. The other person in furnishing your skills and abilities, and before you know it you have so many opportunities in earn from that skills of yours.
You are right and one of the most interesting parts is that you do not even need to try that hard, if you are actually doing something that you like then you are going to be better than the average worker doing the same job simply because you enjoy what you do and you are willing to spend more time perfecting your skills.

This will give you an advantage by being more skilled than them and be able to charge more for your services, it is because of this that choosing something that we like is important as then it would be easier to distinguish yourself among the rest of your peers.

The purpose of the discussion is for forum users who possess one form of skill or another and are making profit from it to share personal episodes of how they turned "Skill to Profit".

Most persons learning a new skill are often faced with the big question/challenge of turning their skill to profit. After acquiring a skill, truth is if there is no platform for you to practice and offer your services and also make profit, you may become less interested and efficient with the skill you learnt and it may soon be forgotten by you.

Please share personal episodes of how you, a skilled forum member has turned your skill to profit, so other forum members who are in between can benefit from your story.

The crypto space is vast, and we're fortunate to have such a platform where we can put our skills to work. It's incredibly satisfying to discover that you can make money while honing your abilities in crypto; it really opens up a lot of doors for us, and it's the appropriate platform for us.

Actually, I gained money by putting my services here, so it's a huge assistance to me, especially if you're well-known here, because everyone will want to try your service.

Different skills can be used here, check the services board, a lot of different services.

Everyone must have advantages and disadvantages, in those advantages there must be expertise. If everyone is able to realize what and where the skills he has, he certainly will easily turn his skills into profit. since last few years i like to make short videos and love to edit videos, and i want to turn my skills into profit by becoming a youtuber and participating in bounty. Of course this is not the end because I am still developing my skills in making videos and editing videos.
Unfortunately, our chances of defining our expertise and development are extremely small, some people are lucky and fall for the coincidences to be able to define their potential while many others are too old to make the transition of these skills, besides, the world is full of similar talents and expertise, sometimes our skill is unique but useless, sometimes it will be a skill duplicated too many times. As well as your content development and editing skills, which are very popular and although potentially profitable but when too many themes have been built before, it will be difficult for you to convert to profit

I turned a weekend hobby into a skill and then I turned professional and I started to sell my skill for profits. I do not want to say too much about it or I might doxx myself... but it involves some writing skills and a lot of art.

It started small..after someone saw my stuff and it grew bigger and bigger and now I can make some profits from my work. I cannot do it full-time because it will not pay the bills.. but I am working on it.  Wink

There are so many skills that can be transformed to money which many persons are still skeptical of. Don't be surprised that those skills that well think at nothing are the one that are becoming valuable in the society.  We learn, gain skill and use it to acquire money that can be use food taking care of ourself. We don't have to gain the trending skills, we can always s maximize the one we have and make use of it to bring great value.
I also think that each of us has definitely individual skills, its just that some of them were ignored and won't even have chances to get nourished. But if you are good enough to think that your skills can bring profits on your part, then you should learn to develop it more and enhanced because that will also reflect the worth of your rewards or profits in the long run. As long as you love what you are doing, then you will most likely to improve it not just for yourself but also for others to be utilized and make profits.
I'm sure everyone has their own skills and it's much better when those skills are used to make a profit,
but not everyone can manage his skills and it's really a pity,
what you say is true they need to learn to develop it and it takes a definite intention

Most persons learning a new skill are often faced with the big question/challenge of turning their skill to profit.
That depends solely on the supply and the demand. If there's demand for C++ programmers and there are really few, it's understandable that they'll have a high income. Likewise, if there's not much demand for truck drivers and there are many, they won't have a high income.

Note that I'm referring to active income. Passive income is the one which will return you high profits. You should develop a skill that is in favor of your passive income.

In the past, I admit to being a little of a know it all. For those who overthink things and want to be accurate on topics. Gambling and market trading could be two areas worth pursuing. For those like myself who used to think of themselves as being smart and right about things. That might be a skill that can be monetized in sports gambling. With a higher than average accuracy on calls.

I'm also in the process of monetizing gardening skills for profit. I have seen $60 listings for very small lemon trees posted locally on craigslist. I started out buying seed stock. Growing them into plants, which will hopefully end up being small trees I can eventually grow fruit from, or sell if needed. There's a short list of things I'm growing for food which can perhaps be sold later, if a food crisis similar to 2020 develops.

A lot of people get caught up in hype and buzzwords. Monetizing skill doesn't have to be flashy or trendy. Its only a matter of playing to basic fundamental strengths and recognizing opportunities that can be seized easily without a large amount of investment or risk.

Skills is something you should acquire and hone it for you to benefit it out and this isnt talking for a short term because skills is something that you do

acquire and able to master it out and you would able to use it on means which you could make income or money which helps at least on your living.

Or able to acquire and save up money for investment purposes and any via other means.

I studied literature in college, then I realized I could make money by writing if I could just find a job like that. Then I got into crypto and found several people who wanted to hire writers. I had some small jobs here and there but then finally got into my final job that I have been working for nearly 5 years or maybe even more if you consider the earliest time we started together but I gave a break in 2017. So all in all writing is definitely a good job, you can't write like I am writing here, you need to check your grammar and be good at it, but in the end you can make a living out of this.

Of course, if you are living in USA or UK then it won't be enough, but if you are living in a nation where 500-600 even 700 dollars could be considered a living wage? Then you can certainly do it and I am hoping to do this until I retire, that way I will always be doing the job I love.

Skill is what you do subsequently and no how what you are desperate of can't give you profit in return, except you are not perfect in your area of specialisation in your skill, transformation of skill to profit can be achieved from how interested and serious you are into the skill you claim to acquire, if trader of cryptocurrency is not curious to know when Market is against them how would their know their profit, in summary whatever you do ensure to take it serious

How to transform a skill into profit?
First, your skill must be in demand. What the point of learning a skill, which nobody needs?
Second, just practice and keep practicing that skill until you become good enough.
After that, keep failing until you succeed at building good long term relationships with a bunch of repeat customers. You may get some new customers along the way.The old customers might recommend you to the new customers. The core of every business are repeat customers. You will fail,if you rely on one time buyers.
Build a portfolio of your best work and showcase that portfolio to anyone interested.
In webdesign and logo design, your work is your best advertisement.

seems trivial but this seems to be true and something like this is happening now, whatever skills we have all of them have considerable potential for profit.
But of course these skills must be accompanied by desire and hard work at the beginning first.
Because it will feel useless if we have many skills but are too lazy to realize these skills to become financial gains.

From this part of the forum, what I feel is from having no capital at all, then getting prizes and having capital to invest and trade, even though trading is still in the learning stage, but from investment I can already feel the benefits, so that it can meet the needs of an increasingly expensive and feel self-sufficient after getting to know crypto

As of now we've got more services being offered in exchange for bitcoin. Through the forum one can meet all his needs fulfilled with cryptocurrency. This means living with cryptocurrency is possible. Earlier in an article read about a family spending their life travelling all around only with bitcoin and no fiat. It was years back, and by that time there is no big acceptance as now. But they managed to fulfill the dream, and those kind of persons will get clear picture through our forum.

The key to obtain profit is to help someone fix their problem.

This applies to life in general, but in this forum there are multiple people that need many different things.

Your job is to basically identify these people, check exactly what they need, see if you are able to solve it for them, and calculate how much profit you can generate given your current skills.

If you go to the services section you'll find heaps of people asking for help.

Sometimes it might not be worth your time to help them, sometimes it is. That's up to you to estimate based on your current skills. Also, if you get better at something, then that can turn into a profitable thing eventually.

Keep getting better at solving problems for others and you'll be profiting more and more over time.

Most of the times people have to invest in their education before they can actually learn a new skill since most of the times people take only degrees seriously. The companies most of the times need people to have a specific requirements, which does mean that even if you do have experience and skills, you still pay for it. Therefore you have to invest not only in yourself but also see where you are doing it, choose a good platform, you can also try platforms like : edX where you still pay for the certificates tho but many free courses are available there.

- research
- choose a nice course
- get good experience
- invest in a degree
- get internships

Personally, I consider it more of an "experience" rather than "skill" as being a newbie on the cryptocurrency world definitely costed me a huge opportunity of earning more.

Last 2017 when I joined this forum, I was privileged enough to participate in dozens of campaign signatures. Since the price of 1 BTC was relatively low compared today, the pay-outs were given in huge denominations. Unfortunately, I cashed out majority of my BTCs on the same year. Upon checking my blockchain record, I saw that the total number of BTCs that I received on my wallet amounted to roughly ~$30,000.

That is why, I uphold the system of HODLing my BTCs for long-term gains. I was too hasty and young back then; though it was a costly lesson, it definitely taught me to be wary of my investments.
