I agree that there are way too many threads on the subject. *looks at oldminer and mrsam*

But we are not spamming our links. It's just in the signature part, and images are allowed to us with at least 50 posts.  Granted, I was the first to use the TM header as my banner. Then it got copied, and now it looks like all you see is the robots in space.

I hate how Diablo says it's a scam.  No, it's a 1% pool. Nothing wrong with that.  Just that if you have a minipool, you could get your 1% back.

In most places I go online (not btc related) they abhor referral links, especially when in the post body. (ie: not just in the signature)  This place is no different.  First it was TradeHill, then Bitcoin7, and now TripleMining.  At least you don't see many-a-thread about TH/B7, so they are not in the forethought around here.

I wish Sam and Oldminer and that other guy who wrote the help thingy, would close down all but 1 threads.  It's hard to find "official" information on the pool. Maybe we can merge them.

I tried doing a microsoft telnet... "open eu.triplemining.com 8344" but can't seem to connect. But my telnet experience is limited, I might be doing it wrong

That could be quite a bit of fun, actually.  In fact I created a game where we can place a few small wagers to keep us entertained until the block is found.  You can check out the game here.

I didnt add it, it was added automatically the command was ping eu.triplemining.com

Why did you add the "1" in there? eu1?

anyhow, my pings are avg 140ms, and my trace was 19 hops.

edit: now deepbit is also starting to show the same error.. no idea whats wrong

I live in Sweden, and I've never had a disconnect either. I think we may be onto something.

The errors you are getting are not from triplemining ...

Hmm, is this location dependant? I am in the UK, close to Belgium, and I haven't had a single disconnect since I joined near the inception.

still cant connect to the pool, same error as before

Yeah, I'm having intermittent issues.  So I changed to backup until today.  Now my freaking FIREFOX is cutting my everyday PC's miner from 210mh to 64mh and slowing down my cursor.

im using GUIminer the only outpuit i see is "problems communicating with bitcoin RPC"

just tried deepbit, thats qworking fine so it must be something specific with triplemining
