Hes been known for RAT-Hacking, and hacking regular online poker
players.

If you're on windows, you should run everything in sandboxie that's not 100% trusted, and add your bitcoin wallet location in Resource Access->File Access->Blocked Access along with your firefox/chrome profiles if you haven't already, that'll prevent anything from accessing the directories/files in there, giving you a nice sense of security should you run any sort of stealer, whether password stealer, or wallet stealer

As an alternative, you could also use Truecrypt and sync to a service like Dropbox regularly. This probably isn't the first threat to surface with the rise of Bitcoins, and likely wont be the last. Perhaps this calls for a bitcoin client that requires a password on startup to decrypt the wallet?
1.Get ubuntu install cd
2.Get flash stick or 2
3.Turn off pc (and unplug hdd optional)
4.Boot pc tap delete repeatably use cd/dvd as 1st boot ,Then save and exit
5.Boot then select try ubuntu
6.Install bitcoin
7.copy wallet.dat to flash stick and second one
8.turn off pc
9.boot pc reset all settings back to normal never plug that flash into any other os except the cd trial ubuntu
10.there you have secure wallet

Has anyone been hit by this yet? That would really suck to lose all your BTC.
I'm sure if everybody follows the simple steps to securing your wallet.dat file, then I doubt even if this did hit you, For the most part you should be fairly secure
