Don't let your boss hear the foxpop!
You think I'm Timelord's boss? You're a funny guy. Have you considered a career as a comedian? Cheesy

she is female
So what if I am? What have you got against women?

I love women, timelord tried to insert words, I answered. Cool

"You think I'm Timelord's boss? You're a funny guy. Have you considered a career as a comedian? Cheesy"

Will you hire me too?

I think iasenko should probably have picked a more sterling DT1 user's posts to use as an example...  Roll Eyes (technically I'm on topic as we're discussing wolwoo's posts)

We can't say everyone in this world can speak English but this forum is mainly based on English and I guess anyone using internet might have basic english skills so I prefer adding some "Hints to no english feedback with English".

Like Scammer,Exit scam,Fake project will save lot of time for both sides.

This quote from suchmoon hits the nail on the head quite nicely:

While we're waiting for wolwoo's medication to start working ...

It's a good idea, though I can guarantee you there are many active members in the local sections who are engaged with the forum, including trades, and yet they speak either very basic or virtually 0 english.

For these users, it's imperative that at least some feedback is given in their local language; on top of that, it would be beneficial if DT members can also include a quick English translation of their trust feedback, whenever they can (which wolwoo has already done in your example screenshot too)...

It's interesting the OP choose that specific user's posts.  Others have identified four of those users as being alts (some of each other, some with other's not mentioned) otto_diesel, El-Cezeri, Kalemder, mhanbostanci

I think this is important for the whole community and there are only benefits.
I also understand the struggle of some people when using English but when you leave to someone feedback it's to inform the rest of the members. At least a rule for those who are on DT, if you end up there you need to take the responsibilities as well.
Simple example of a DT feedback >

Just use Google Translate or some other translation site. It might be even better than the sender of the feedback trying to post in English, which they would likely mangle horribly and it would be useless in any language.

Wasn't Google Translate what some of you good people on DT declared was "the last straw" when I used it a couple of months ago?

A better solution would be to dilute the number of DT1's from English speaking backgrounds and let the local languages monitor their own native tongues.

(Admittedly I have posted bi-lingual feedback in the past, but it was relevant to a particular user)

Should we post in multiple languges (Chinese, English, French, Spanish to name a few) so anyone coming across the feed back can read it? Or, should we stick to what we know - our own language.

LoyceV I'm pretty sure uses English as a second language however their trust/feedback is usually in English only.

bodyguards gushing from everywhere, at the same time!

RETALIATE!!! MARLBOROZA HOW DARE YOU POINT OUT BAN EVADING PLAGIARIZING FUCKWITS IN DT!!!
TRUST ORGANIZED CRIMINAL MAFIA THREAT ABUSE GANG BANG BANG THEYMOS SEE THIS!

@wolwoo, first of all there is no gang, it is all in your head.

Second, if I remember correctly, and my memory still serves me well, when lauda was kicked out of DT (was it last year?) actmyname and I re-tagged many accounts, including me tagging account goraset.

It is not my problem if you don't want to read thread linked in reference and/or you have read it but you are ignoring that they stole someone's translations, presented them as their own and have tried to claim and/or claimed bounty rewards.

Third, I looked at your trust page and I see that you have included me on this date http://loyce.club/trust/2019-09-14_Sat_06.11h/1003533.html so there is no chance that in the last 3 months you didn't see  negative rating on that account, and you really never wondered why negative?

Last thing I will say about this is actually a question, why have you included me if you think that I am "gang member" and you obviously don't trust my judgment?

kidnapping (from the forum)

I thought you were a good guy and decided you were reliable. I wish this right decision would continue. but instead you've accumulated. In the meantime, you also sent me message. Foxpop's sad message was above that. Probably triggered it. DT1, 10th anniversary, merit source, etc. The reason I shared this message was to Foxpop, which added me to the distrust list.

Why did you explode? There was nothing about you!

Second DT1 account which included scammer to trust list is:

And yes, you will see me very very active because I am very very pissed right now. Fucking scammers and ban evaders becoming DT1 members.

You didn't got the idea of the thread I guess. This is not attack against you, I just mentioned you as an example of how some feedback is left to other people. This is nothing to do with you personally.
I just though that if you are on DT and your feedback actually have some significance, you should make it readable for the rest of the users, no matter that you leave it only in your local sections, simple translation is enough, at least from my point of view.

I'm sorry, but when I saw a few names in between, I thought, "They're attacking me again." Whatever you are doing here, you must get the approval of the 3 great people. Suchmoon marlboroza and of course Timelord2067. These are the approval mechanism. Tongue

FOR EXAMPLE:

Anyone considering sending merits to top those users up - please check trust feedback. Quite a few have been involved in merit farming. Basically most users who haven't been earning merits consistently (even if slowly) over the last 120 days, which you can see straight from the user profile, probably don't deserve a top up.

because you sent me distrust because I sent trust feedback to people. people were afraid to write feedback.

I have a question for you: why did you add me to your distrust list? What did I do to make you a distrust? Who hated me for you?

please answer honestly

Not sure how that's relevant to the topic at hand, but it's because of reference-less trust ratings you posted for a large number of users on August 29.

yes I sent, is it forbidden? I haven't used feedback since the day I became a member. In the light of the information I have gained for 2 and a half years, I wrote feedback to people I trust in the forum. what is the problem? Would it be more ethical if I did it over time? why do you tend to draw bad things out of what people do? What is the main problem? why can't we trust each other and get rid of our prejudices.

Do I have to prove to you and to each member of the forum what I am, who I am?

It would be best if trust feedback would be left both in local language and English. But we can't expect that everyone here is able to write in English. One of main purposes of local boards to give people who don't know English to discuss in their native English. And we can't force people to communicate in language that they don't know. Using Google Translate isn't a solution because we all know how it can translate sometimes.
And writing feedback in English doesn't always makes sense. If user is trading (or scamming) just on local board, trust feedback in English probably would do more harm than good. Many people just won't understand what is written and that feedback won't work as a warning.

Sometimes a. Feedback in local language is more important than in English.
If the scammers is scamming is Russian board, the victims probably don't even talk English.
I think it would be great if all trust feedback were written in English, but I agree with the above.  It's important that the feedback sender write as clearly as possible even if that isn't in English.  If someone thinks a feedback is important enough to read, it's easy enough to google translate it back into English.

I'm not sure how many DT members speak so little English that they couldn't write their feedbacks in it, but I'd probably agree that they ought to if they have enough proficiency.  I think the vast majority of members here are either native English speakers or are fluent in it and nearly everyone could probably understand a feedback even if it was written in garbled English.

To me, this isn't a huge deal because I have yet to run across a red trust that I couldn't understand or felt the need to translate.  And since this is the first time I've seen this issue brought up, my guess is that I'm not alone.

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
I think that even if feedback is given for a trade done in a local board it should still be in English + the local language (optional). If the person writing the feedback can't speak English it isn't that hard to ask someone who does speak English for help in the local section. Yes, google translate is an option but not the ideal tool.

Maybe somebody should start a project to help the local members learn English.
Do you know anyone who would be interested in doing that?  Grin Maybe JetAid?

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
Often, in cases such as the one shown on the captured screen in the OP, the reference links (if present) point to Archival content or posts that are also in a local language. The feedback is an indicator to the facts, but the reference is often the evidence of them. It seems that both being aligned in the same (local) language would be more beneficial, if the case reported is related to evidence produced in a local board, where most of the potential viewers of that feedback and evidence will be locals.

I think that the main local language should prevail as the language used in feedback, since that is where the core aim of the feedback is aimed to be read in operational terms.

The idea of having the capability to provide dual language feedback for (at least) DTs is fine, but , as pointed out on this thread, many feedback entries may have been provided before becoming DT, so the mandatory part to it is would not be that simple. Besides, there are probably quite a few DTs (DT1, DT2) that do not master English well enough to make the entries in comprehensible dual language.
