Fenerbahçe won the Turkish Cup in the 2022-2023 season. Congratulations to Fenerbahce. Congratulations to all our teams that competed for the trophy.

Fenerbahçe snatched the cup after a near-decade, coinciding with Jorge Jesus' shock exit—its reality TV in the making! The victory, while heartening, was't a shocker; they owned the field. The problem, though, is Jesus' departure. Known for his league-winning ambitions, his absence leaves the future hazy. He had his motives for exiting the Turkish circuit with its unique quirks. Candidly, without him, I can't picture Fenerbahçe atop next season, but who knows, life's full of surprises!

This is a pretty good achievement for Fenerbahce because they managed to win the Turkish Cup trophy this season when they played in the final against Istanbul BB.
They scored their first goal in the first half in the 1st minute, so with this goal the Istanbul players panicked and worried until after 29 minutes Batshuayi scored his second goal which made the score 2-0 up until the end of the game.
I didn't see the game until after the second half but in the first half I saw a pretty good game.

Fenerbahçe spent most of the game dominating in the final match that took place in the yesterday night and as a result they achieved a victory with 2-0 result. Fenerbahçe won the cup with this win, won a cup after a long break of 9 years.

Being among the biggest teams of the Turkish football league, Fenerbahçe managed to win the cup after a long period of 9 years for such a team. Especially in the last few years, the team which has performed very poorly, won the cup with this victory and it was a good light of hope that many fans rejoiced and that Fenerbahçe could be successful as before.

Fenerbahçe finally had fresh breath and water with this cup title. Its nothing that much important im Türkiye because income through cup winning is nothing. Its far better to join champions league group stage. Başakşehir is getting worse every year in my opinion which is probably caused by its mismanagement. They should have been better, conceding goal at first minute of final match shows how demoralized/demotivated you are. For Fenerbahçe, not much to say, Jorge Jesus is out, waiting for new manager.

Fenerbahce won the game, I couldn't watch the game and I couldn't place a bet, anyway, this victory is something that at least gave something positive to Jorge Jesus who also announced his withdrawal from the team, he will no longer be Fenerbahce's coach and From what I could understand from the interview he gave on a TV in Portuguese, the reason for his withdrawal from the team even with this great achievement and due to the way the Turkish league works, the postponements of games and other things that he saw that happened that in a certain way form contributed a lot to fenerbahce losing the title race

since jorge jesus joined fenerbahce his main objective has always been to win the turkish league, he made that clear during last season when the flamengo wanted him to return to brazil he said he could not leave until his mission to win the league was reached, but the way the Turkish league was or is managed when there are serious events like the earthquake and other factors did not please jorge jesus and I think that many coaches who were in the same situation as jorge jesus would also ask to leave the team because in this way they will leave the Turkish place. in my opinion it was the best decision he made, he said he would stay in portugal waiting for other opportunities.

I cannot imagine what the situation would have been like if they had not scored in the first minute of the match. It could have been a more difficult match for Fenerbahçe, but in the first minute of the match, when young wonderkid Arda Güler assisted Batshuayi to score, all plans for Başakşehir were turned upside down. At the end of the match, Fenerbahce was the winner.

Good job by Fenerbahce indeed. They didn't finish the season without a championship at least. Maybe the Turkish Cup isn't important as much as the Turkish Super League. But this was still important for Fenerbahce mentally and for qualifying for the Europa League qualification as well. It is really such a bad situation Turkey are in now about European cup quotas now. As the country coefficient has dropped down to lower levels even the league champion can't qualify for the CL group stage. The only way to join the Europa League is the Turkish Cup title now too.

Jorge Jesus' contract was already ending by the way and he didn't want to continue with Fenerbahce. I don't know if there is any offer for him from other teams but here we are. I think it wasn't nice to talk about this right after winning a title.

Atleast fenerbahce team managed to win the Turkish cup after losing the superlig to galatasaray and they did it without much effort in the final they scored two goals quickly after only half an hour which surprised basaksehir team who were having a performance peak recently but it wasn't enough to win the cup, totally deserved win for fenerbahce since they are the second best team this season.

As you have said coach and the president have been criticized a lot and after they win the cup Jesus announced that he resigned. Well, resigning after winning something, even though it is Turkish Cup, is kind of good move in my opinion. He was obviously didn't do so great in the league. I actually can't believe we think this after they got 80 points. But Başakşehir also played horribly in the final. Fener could get an easy win. Başakşehir is not what they are used to be. 5-10 years ago Başakşehir would win this game. With this game, the season is completely over until the Super Cup game before of the season. It was not a good finish. The Cup victory does not make the club management safe, they obviously are not good.

President Ali Koç is giving Fenerbahçe the worst times in their history. I don't remember how many different coaches he worked with so far. Of course, a team that makes so many manager changes cannot be successful because so many manager changes also mean constant system changes. I think the Turkish cup they won this season is largely a chance. I don't think they will be able to repeat the same success next season. If they keep changing coaches that many, they will have to wait another 9 years to win their next trophy.

It is nice that Fenerbahçe won a trophy after a 9-year break. However as there is no league championship we can't say that the supporters are happy. The manager Jorge Jesus made a statement after the match that he resigned. This isn't good news for Fenerbahçe at all. They will need to build a new system next season.

Fenerbahçe managed to win a trophy in Türkiye after 9 years. That's a long time for such a big club. They had won many trophies in the 20 years before that, but they performed very poorly in the last decade. We see how the conjuncture change is reflected in successes. Unfortunately, football in the country is not just a game played on the field. I don't think this will ever change.

Fenerbahçe won the trophy. But this trophy is not a very valuable trophy in Turkey. So it is actually the second trophy. But it is never as valuable as the league cup. And they got a well deserved victory. And according to this result, we will face them in the Super Cup match at the opening of the next season. In the second half, Sportingbet kept the pressure on and won the cup.Basaksehir didn't show much throughout the match and had only 1 shot, while Fenerbahce were constantly experimenting and managed to have 17 shots in total.

The last time they won this title was the 2012/2013 season. It is a really huge time gap. Now there is only the Turkish Super League title duty left for them. Because they haven't been able to win that title since the 2013/2014 season as well.    There was a really big domination by Fenerbahce in this match. Batshuayi became the man of the match undoubtedly by scoring 2 goals. Basaksehir had even only 2 goal attempts in total.

By the way there were some rumours like Ali Koc wasn't going to watch this finale at the stadium. Was that really true? I didn't see him if he was there. And if he really wasn't then it looks like his absence helps Fenerbahce win matches easier. 

Fenerbahçe defeated Başakşehir 2-0 in the final match and won the cup. Fenerbahçe won a cup in Türkiye after 9 years. Undoubtedly, this trophy will be important for the community. Recently, club president Ali Koç and coach Jorge Jesus have been criticized a lot by the fans. After this cup, the dose of criticism will decrease a little. As for the match, Batshuayi scored two goals, but I really liked Arda Güler's game. He played great football, especially in the first half of the match. Despite his young age, he plays an important role on behalf of his team and he is very successful in this. As a Galatasaray fan, I enjoy watching him.

The final match will be played tonight. Fenerbahçe won both matches in the league. It's obvious that they are superior to Başakşehir. They are the favourites, tonight. It will be good for them if they end a bad season for them with the trophy. It will be a consolation prize if they finish the season with a trophy while the manager's future is being discussed. The fans are still unhappy because they didn't become champions. It's not enough for them to win the Turkish Cup. But it's better than nothing.

The turkey league is particularly difficult to navigate, more competition among clubs within the range of the league, with tremendous and mediocre clubs trading blows and 80% of standard clubs frequently flopping to small average clubs this season. Fenerbahce were thrashed 3 nil by the league champions, Galatasaray, in one of the yellow Canaries' greatest nightmares. Even if they had won, it would not have affected the points on the table, but it would have demonstrated to the supporters that they had defeated the Turkish league champions in the long league run up.  

Fenerbahce were quite ineffective against Galatasaray in the derby match on the final week of the Turkish Super League. They were like they didn't have any ambition to win. Of course they didn't have any chance left for the league championship but still it was a derby match and it was going to be important about deciding the team to finish at the second position in the standings. After watching this poor performance I started to have a little more doubts about the Turkish Cup finale tomorrow evening.

But I still try to believe we will watch two different teams compared to the match against Galatasaray. This is the only way for Fenerbahce to join the Europa League instead. And it is a chance to complete the season with a title as well. I think regular or extra time Fenerbahce will make it anyway.
