The match that will be the hardest to predict will be between Sivasspor and Gaziantep. I feel like Sivasspor has a better chance of winning. I might even be happy if they win this trophy Cheesy

I want to see a different team to win the trophy now. I hope Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will be eliminated from the cup as soon as possible and one of the Anatolian clubs will win the cup. Because Galatasaray won't let go of the cup if they reach the final. We cannot say the same for Fenerbahçe though. They lost too many times in the final.

Yeah I don't deny I am fan of Galatasaray in general. But I tend to speak common sense. I honestly think most of teams don't care about Turkish cup so gamblers can hit very strange and beneficial odds. But I think I agree that when teams like Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe hit semi finals, they can try harder, more motivated so they can win title. As Fenerbahçe is behind of Galatasaray in league they will care less about cup - which means Galatasaray is expected to win cup.

I'm definitely thinking similar things. We have to forget about this tournament and concentrate on the league title race. If we throw the towel in the league, it wouldn't make sense for us to win this cup anyway. That's why I didn't care too much about the outcome of this match. Also, there are some reasons why we had a hard time scoring in this match and lost the match. We couldn't make a transfer to replace Weghorst. We saw again that Muleka was ineffective in the centre-forward, and that he was a support forward.

How many times has Beşiktaş lost to Ankaragücü? It was clear that they wouldn't be defeated in this match. But there is a Beşiktaş that has had difficulty in finding goals this year due to striker problems. It was more or less predicted that the match would end in a draw. Penalties were purely luck, after that time both teams had equal chances. Now the ratings of the cup will drop drastically because nobody turns on the TV to watch the Ankaragücü match. It's atv's concern now, not us.
Galatasaray is currently the favorite of the tournament, it wouldn't be a surprise if they win the trophy. I would like Anatolian clubs to take it though.

I honestly did not expected them to lose this one out. I know that they sent Sergen with some hatred because there was something wrong, but that dude knew how to manage he was literally a champion coming up and with one half a season being bad they sent him. If he stayed until this day, I guarantee you that they would be better than this for sure. In any case, the manager change didn't really give them much because it wasn't the manger that caused all the trouble, it was the roster that is lacking any great player, hence they are losing games because they are not "that" much better than any ordinary team at top half of the league, like 8th 9th 10th etc etc. They should aim at top 3 every year, not top 10.

A disappointing end for them in Turkish Cup as missed two penalties and having exit from this cup with now they are having only Super League where their form is also not consistent which is giving them not good results currently they are at fifth spot with one match in hand against Kayserispor which is also struggling and trying to regroup themselves for the better performance in this league and having better end of this season but Besiktas is surely still capable of having better results and reach at the higher rank where Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe is already having spots things are not easy but still reachable for them need better strategy for improvement.

Galatasaray didn't found it easy in winning Alanyaspor at a time in this match Alanyaspor increased their pursuit for goal at this time their attack was very dangerous and aggressive the match was dorminated by them and this gave Alanyaspor a goal in this match but Galatasaray managed to excape a draw or even a defeat because of their experience and I will say that the most lucky team won in this match and that's Galatasaray but the have to do more work in their defense.

It was a remarble event today in Turkish football seeing all turkey team today ending their meetings with a 1:1 draw full time but the match that got my attention today is the match between umraniyespor and Trabzonspor which many spectators expectation was dashed in the full-time which is the normal time for Gamble's who gave them straight win, many persons were anticipating the winning to be in favour of Trabzonspor because they are a better side and most often seen as dangerous attackers but the match was later won by Trabzonspor in the extra added time after the full time break.

After Weghorst went, Muleka started to play in the striker position when the new striker wasn't bought yet. This score appeared when he missed the clear goal positions. Şenol Güneş couldn't adjust the dose of rotation. There are no other players fighting in the midfield other than Gedson. Defense players made simple mistakes. The team's best stopper Saiss shouldn't play in the midfield. Şenol Güneş saw the error and took him to the right place in the second half. But Beşiktaş couldn't find the goal to win. Everything can happen in the penalties. Still, I would expect Mert to save at least one penalty.

There was a surprise result in the Turkish Cup tonight. Besiktas lost the match and they were eliminated from the cup. It is difficult for them to become champions in the Turkish League this season as well. It looks like they will finish this season without winning a trophy. This season has been completely disappointing for them. At least they should finish third in the league and qualify for the Europa League.

It was difficult for Galatasaray to win against Alanyaspor. Even then, Galatasaray managed to maintain their winning streak. Alanyaspor is a good enough team. Galatasaray made a great start to the match by getting 2-0 ahead in the first half already. Nelsson's goal by a header was thanks to a well-organized set piece. Mertens' finesse shot was really lovely and it ended up as a great goal. The first half was completely under the domination of Galatasaray in short. But Galatasaray started to seem complacent in the second half. They gave important chances to their opponent and risked their score advantage quite much.

Alanyaspor scored a goal finally and they still had plenty of time to equalize the score. But this time Galatasaray prevented the same scenario in the league from coming true once again. It would have been an interesting coincidence if Alanyaspor came back from 2-0 to 2-2 again. Grin
