Round of 16 matches for the Ziraat Turkish Cup have been announced at today. Rizespor who surprisingly eliminating Adanademirspor, will face Fenerbahçe. Will Teco Karacabey Belediyespor make another surprise? Or will they be eliminated by Sivasspor? Galatasaray-Alanyaspor match may be the most enjoyable match for this round of 16.
I don't see any surprise results after this draw. Galatasaray may have a hard game but they are still favorite and we know how successful they are in this tournament. They have the most Turkish Cup in their collection. Konyaspor will easily pass their opponent, Sivasspor is same as well. Trabzonspor have the easiest opponent, Başakşehir play in İstanbul so they are favorite again. The only draw I don't have any favorite is Antalyaspor vs. Kayserispor. I didn't expect a surprising result from today's matches. I expected the favorites to win but that didn't happen. Adana Demir was eliminated by Rizespor. Closing the first half 2-0 down, Adana Demirspor tied 2-2 in the last minutes and took the match to extra time. With the goals they conceded in extra time, they lost the chance to pass the round.

It is ridiculous for a team like Giresunspor to say goodbye to the cup by conceding 5 goals to a 2nd league team. I don't see many unexpected results in the other matches.
