It is difficult to determine which team will win the title this season, because in my view there are many teams in the Turkish Super League who have the same chances considering the start of the season. Even Galatasaray who performed poorly last season but Galatasaray are actually the team that has the most records in winning titles, although there is no guarantee to win the title again but the chance for Galatasaray will always be there. But if I look after this first week, then the current ranking for the top seven teams has a chance to win the title and or compete in that position.
Fenerbahce - Umraniyespor was a pretty interesting game. I was just expecting the home team to win this nicely. But their opponent made even a comeback from a 2-1 disadvantage. The game ended up with a 3-3 draw and it was disappointing for Fenerbahce fans. They were actually looking pretty good but somehow they couldn't show the same performance in this game.
Fenerbahçe is very lucky that they didn't lose this match and managed to get 1 point. Because they scored the third goal after 90 minutes in extra time. This match clearly shows that Fenerbahçe's defense is very weak. Umraniyespor's players did not attack much. Even then they managed to score 3 goals. Fenerbahçe needs to strengthen its own defense. Otherwise they will not be able to stay at the top of the points table.
I think Galatasaray did not deserve to win match against Antalyaspor. It was not very enjoyable match because it didn't have many great positions just like others. Antalyaspor is very determined in defensive play so they are hard to beat at home. Galatasaray on the other hand didn't like that good either. I personally didn't like their performance. Also Galatasaray s penalty was not penalty in my opinion. Referee made a mistake there.
Not the beginning of season fenerbahce team and fans wanted despite being ahead on the first half 2 1 they almost lost the game if it wasn't for berisha late goal in the 92 minute, fenerbahce players seemed not focused and they were really agressive which is why they had seven yellow cards i think it was a lot of pressure for them.

it was a good choice for me to bet on that game, Istanbul won that game without any difficulty, they managed to score 4 goals and won't concede any goals. Istanbul's 4 - 3 - 3 game system was very effective, I like this game system when I'm playing pro evolution soccer on the computer

If Muslera had not closed a good angle, Antalyaspor would have scored very early. Gomis, who was included in the game towards the end of the match, saved the team from an absolute draw with his goal, and at least Galatasaray started this season by scoring points.
There are a few players that didn't play the way everyone expected them to play like. Emre Akbaba, Berkan Kutlu and Sacha Boey. Boey was there because he is a super fast player but last night he wasn't fast at all. Defense always had holes in them which caused a lot of counter attacks, the penalty was made after a goalkeeper kick, think of how slow galatasaray defense was like, and that famous save happened because Boey missed his man and couldn't catch up.Offensively, they could replace Akbaba, but defensively they needed the team to be faster and can't be replaced with anyone faster because there is no alternate right now which will cause problems in the future.

The match was competitive. Antalyaspor players tried their best to get points from the match. They continued to attack until the last minute but failed to earn points. Galatasaray was lucky that Bafetimbi Gomis was able to score a goal in the 90th minute and Galatasaray won the match 1-0. That penalty shot was absolutely ridiculous. I really dislike that type of style of penalty shooting. I can't believe in this level of football, players miss penalties with that kind of ridiculously slow and absurd shot. I can see it was extremely hot and players had a hard time performing but there is no excuse for wasting a penalty shot. Also as you have pointed out, around the minute 40, Haji Wright wasted a certain scoring opportunity.Galatasaray did not play good but indeed got a lucky win. Antalyaspor seemed like a better team but they just wasted good opportunities. I am hopeful about their performance this season. They might surprise quite a lot of people.

Besiktas' game was such a roller coaster ride for its supporters. Kayserispor got the red card, Besiktas scored a goal, then it was cancelled, then Besiktas got a red card, then scored a good goal at the almost last minute. First half and the second half until Nkoudou got in the game was so uneventful. After Nkoudou, Besiktas started to play better and harder, of course we have to take account that the opponent was 10 players. But still, Besiktas was struggling to score a goal. But they eventually did after quite a drama. It was a nice win for Besiktas but the future for them this season seems like gonna be tough.
I can't say much about the politics of the Turkish football, but I agree that refs are horrible there right now. I mean it is obvious that they are doing the wrong decisions every single time, and the football is getting worse there. For the time being, when you have a team with 120 million value, and another with 10-15, you realize that the team that is smaller defends a lot harder, they literally throw bodies at players.
Look at the score BJK had against Kayseri, defenders were literally throwing their bodies at other players, that's a bookable offense. And do not get me started on how these smaller teams "may" end up getting ahead, and then 11 player defense, all go down for 5 minutes for even smallest touch.

Once again the whole story about the season will be about referees for sure. I just watched first half of the gs-antalya game and I can easily say that the ref is out to get GS easily, no two ways about it. I watched bjk game last night and they were butchered the same way as well. Its obvious that refs will try to make sure that all big clubs are getting their games turned one way ro another and not make it fair to them. This is why turkish teams are not doing well in europe, because instead of making the big clubs big so they could beat european clubs, they make sure big clubs are screwed and nobody does well outside of their domestic league. As long as this refs stay, nothing will change.
I agree with you. As soon as the league started, we started talking about referee mistakes rather than football game. Welcome to Turkish football. I think there is no place in Turkey where politics does not enter. That's why i think the relationship between football and politics is strong. Starting from here we can solve the rest of the puzzle. I don't want to watch a league where referee mistakes will be discussed throughout the year. The league has lost its appeal.
