We won again, but it looked much closer this time around. Galatasaray 2-1 Antalyaspor. I am guessing that it will take a while before we could feel at ease, not just wins, but there is this feeling of unease. We didn't start that well and we weren't that good last year, in fact it has been one of the worst years ever, so suddenly to be this good this year with momentum on our side doesn't really feel that well, it just doesn't sit well so far. I hope that we will continue to win many more games and get the title, but until we do, we will end up fearing it for sure, its not going to be at any point sure thing in my mind.
I also have the same thoughts. We didn't play well in this match, but we won easily. I think this is a good feature. Because we know how to win even when playing bad. It's an identity and it's the team's most distinctive feature. When our momentum increases, we will play better and win easier matches. I have no doubts about it, and it is absolutely no coincidence that we won 9 games in a row in the league.
Beşiktaş got what they wanted from the Kayserispor match today. Their performance was quite decent and they could have scored more goals as well. Redmond's goal was really impressive as his shot was such a decent one and it was really fast at the same time. He is a player who played in the Premier League and this shot had some similarities with his times there.
Beşiktaş can leave Başakşehir behind in the standings actually. It depends on whether they win their missing match. I don't know how much they can be competitive for the title though. But their form has been improved a lot after Senol Gunes' arrival.
Beşiktaş have had a good start in the last few weeks. They could not reach the desired level on the field, but they gained a positive momentum in tactical terms. I think Şenol Güneş has a great share in this. He knows this league very well.
