In the last minutes of the first half, Fenerbahçe took the lead 3-0 with Miguel Crespo's great shot. After this minute, Fenerbahçe can increase the difference even more in the second half. Mert Günok would be a better choice for Besiktas surely. But Besiktas still aren't as lucky as Fenerbahce or Trabzonspor as they have very talented domestic goalkeepers like Altay and Uğurcan. They don't have a strong foreign goalkeeper like Muslera either. Mert Günok might be a temporary solution for Besiktas but I think they should look for a really credible goalkeeper in January transfer window. They focused on bringing attackers mostly in the previous transfer window and didn't care about the defense so much. Otherwise this season might be wasted by defensive problems when they have a potential for winning the league title.

My betting choices for two matches in the league today are:

Trabzonspor - Gaziantep: Trabzonspor win @1.62
Fenerbahce - Alanyaspor: Fenerbahce win @1.57

Trabzonspor boosted their morale by winning against Crvena zvezda in the Europa League. They are going to play a tough match today maybe but I think they will put an end to their losing streak in the league by this one. The final score might be 2-1 in my opinion. Fenerbahce should also be able to win against Alanyaspor. Because Alanyaspor haven't been in form these days. They hardly won a match after many weeks. Fenerbahce should be careful especially in their defense. Because it wasn't good against Rennes which caused them to concede 2 goals in 2 minutes. It would have been worse too. Both teams might score in this one too.

Beşiktaş has a serious goalkeeper problem. It seems that this problem will not be solved until Mert Günok starts playing again. Unfortunately, Beşiktaş's young goalkeepers are quite unsuccessful and concede goals by making very simple mistakes. When we look at the statistics, we can see this very easily, Istanbulspor also looked at this and therefore they shot from a distance in the match.
They said that Mert Günok can return to the field at the end of November, I hope they can end the goalkeeper problem in this way

Ersin was bad today, to be honest. Ersin played a big part in Beşiktaş's draw. Maybe it's because of the incident between them but I don't know. It's an important point loss for Beşiktaş for sure.
Adana Demirspor is probably one of the best teams in the league and they show it in every match. They play really good games and have quality players. They showed that today in the away match against Antalya.

I know that Galatasaray got lucky, but you need to be ready to get lucky as well, they could have been a much worse team (aka last year) and even with a first minute goal, they could have lost, Endri Cakici could have scored a lot more if he didn't hit the woodworks back to back, so all in all, GS is still dealing with some tactical stuff, like how to put Mertens on defensive midfield to make sure defense is not leaky, or Emin not losing balls when he shouldn't, these are important stuff, but offensively they are looking very good, maybe pass a bit more since most of the players are inclined too shoot a bit too much, but if they fix their defense, their offense can bring in the championship.

Besiktas found a very important chance with Tayfur right after that but the goalkeeper made up for his mistake by a great save and saved his team a point at the same time.

Besiktas lost five points in their last two league games which is really alarming. Istanbulspor must have been an easy target for them normally.

No. I no longer bet on Galatasaray matches. Because instead of acting rationally, I always act emotionally. The best solution for me is to not bet on Galatasaray matches at all.


İstanbulspor made a big surprise tonight. With this result, they managed to score points in their last three games. They started to catch a good series.

In Beşiktaş, Ersin Destanoğlu made an amateurish mistake in Istanbulspor's free kick. Masuaku created great position and Gedson made his first assist. Weghorst didn't even made that shot with his foot but still found the net. We witnessed a great organisational goal. Now Beşiktaş shouldn't let second goal for İstanbulspor. They need to score third and finish the job. This should've been way more easier at start.

Galatasaray showed a really impressive performance in offense and deserved the 2-1 win. Even though Icardi didn't score he was helpful for his team. Because he forced a Konyaspor defender to an own goal and their goalkeeper got a red card also after his fight with Icardi. Muslera had another great match also. He was even nearly saving that incredible shot by Endri Cekici too. After having a really poor season Galatasaray are very likely to stay in the rivalry to become champions this time.

It is halftime in the Istanbulspor - Besiktas match now. Besiktas are in the lead by 2-1 thanks to N'Koudou and Weghorst's goals. They are trying to make up for the unexpected Basaksehir loss of course and I see no reason for not to do this by this match. Istanbulspor are one of the weak teams of the league currently and they wouldn't resist Besiktas much. But this is a risky score so Besiktas had better keep a two-goal gap at least to be more comfortable.
