I never had any doubt that Galatasaray was going to win that particular game even when they were still trailing to Hatayspor by a goal to nil after 75 minutes. Anyone who watched the game will attest to the fact that Galatasaray had a better performance but couldn't utilize their chances earlier in the game but still managed to get all three points at the end of the game. It's a good start to the new season by the reigning champions of Turkiye and I think it'll send a strong message to other top clubs in the league about how prepared Galatasaray is for the new season.

Galatasaray deservedly got 3 points tonight, Galatasaray was the playing side.
They just couldn't take advantage of the opportunities but they knew how to win the match.
The penalty is a clear penalty, don't be an opponent of everything, if you want to cry, cry in the corner.
The referees continue to make mistakes, Torreira and Köhn should have seen yellow cards.

The league started and the most talked about thing was the unfair penalty but those who said this are crying because it was a clean penalty. Galatasaray had a hard time in its first match. Hatayspor fell behind 0-1 in the 52nd minute, but made the score 1-1 with İcardi in the 80th minute. In the 90th minute of the match, he scored with new transfer Batshuayi and made the score 2-1 and managed to win the match.

Galatasaray had more opportunities than their opponents in the first half but could not take advantage of them. By the way, Zaha was going to leave but they say his loan transfer to Crystal Palace has been cancelled. The tension between him and Okan Buruk is getting higher.

This match is going a different direction because what am seeing is surprising Galatasaray that I expected to see with low performance are the one dominating the game with all the important factors, yeah the coach really prepares for the game, because of conceded goals by Galatasaray that why I think Hatayspor will win but this as turned another way round, Hatayspor have commit 7 fouls in the first I am beginning to give up on them but still let see how the second half will look like, but I believe it will not look easy for Galatasaray because the way the perform in first even shocked the Hatayspor and the will do something the resist it in second half.

This is a game in which I placed a bet, in fact, as I saw that there were low odds in case Galatasaray won the game, so I added Galatasaray to my multibet bet. Looking at the squad and the performance of these two teams, Galatasaray is clearly much superior, but Galatasaray is coming off a very humiliating defeat and in this game the coach made some changes, for example in the attack he did not put Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoğlu, in his place he put Barış Alper Yılmaz. I wouldn't disagree with you because Galatasaray are not in good condition to start a season, checking their previous games it looks disappointing out of five last matches they just won two matches which is not encouraging, the conceded goals are more than the scored goals which is not balanced.

Few minutes from now the match between Galatasaray and Hatayspor will begin and will be first match of the league, Hatayspor are fully prepared to start a season with a beautiful smile because they haven't lost in their last 4 matches which show they are in good condition, with my own analysis of this two teams Hatayspor have the upper chances of winning this match compare to Galatasaray. But let see how the out come will be.

After seeing the way Galatasaray started the season, I can't be positive about them. There is a lot of work to do.    We will see today if lessons are learned from that embarrassing defeat by Beşiktaş or not. This is mostly the chairman's fault of course. Being too complacent and not making necessary transfers earlier have brought them to this point. I won't be surprised if Galatasaray lose points tonight.

I feel like the first part of the season will go on really badly for Galatasaray.

The crushing defeat to Besiktas was clearly not a good start for Galatasaray to start the current season, Galatasaray had to give up with a score of 5-0 in that match even though they were the defending champions in the Super Lig and Super Cup last season, galatasaray  embarrassing defeat from besiktas and I am quite impressed with Ciro Immobille debut, who performed quite perfectly at Besiktas even though he only just joined this season.
The first match against Hatayspor will be the opening match of the super lig and of course this match will be an interesting match considering the formation and performance of the two teams which have certainly changed drastically after the transfer window, but even so, of course Galatasaray who the status as the ruler of the super lig so far they don't want to get negative results again after losing from Besiktas in the Super Cup, so they will try to avenge from Besiktas defeat when they face Hatayspor at home later.
My prediction is that the score 3-1 will close the match for Galatasaray to win.

Defending champions Galatasaray after having humiliating defeat against Besiktas in Super Cup now going to start their campaign against Hatayspor which were lucky enough to survive in last season from relegation as they ended their season on 41 points just one point above relegated teams, but now their start of new season is also going to be not ideal because they are going to face Galatasaray.

Odds are not good enough for the match with @1.25 but here we can expect good number of goals and odd for the over 3 is standing at the @1.63 which are looking juicy because Galatasaray is looking frustrating, and they will try their best for having good start of their campaign of defending title on positive note after having big defeat which create serious trouble for them in coming season.

Galatasaray who happens to be the reigning champions of Turkiye will kickoff the new Turkish Super Lig season against Hatayspor  on Friday  night and for so many people who's been starved of European club football, watching game will be a must for them. Galatasaray have successfully won the league title in the last two seasons but will now face a strong competition from Fenerbahce who recently appointed Jose Mourinho to become their manager. The arrival of the Portuguese manager I think will surely improve the performance of Fenerbahce as well as making them a better contender for the league title than they've been in recent years. Galatasaray haven't been active in the transfer market this summer like most people had expected, however, I believe they can still successfully defend the league title

The Turkish Super League 2024/25 Season is starting and the starting match will be the Galatasaray-Hatayspor match. Galatasaray suffered a big defeat against Beşiktaş in the cup match and looked very weak despite being the champion of the previous season.

Okan Buruk had said that the transfer works were continuing, but it was a very bad transfer season and the current squad is not enough at all. I did not fully examine Hatayspor, I just want to watch the match and analyze Galatasaray and Hatayspor. The last transfer was Gabriel Sara from Galatasaray, a few more player additions are needed before the transfer season closes.

It is natural to see surprise results in pre-season games. This match was an official match. But I don't think it was enough to measure the performances because it was pre-season. If we form an opinion about the season based on this match, we might get wrong conclusions. But despite all that, Galatasaray should not have conceded 5 goals in this match. Even if it was a friendly or even if the team was missing a lot of players, a Galatasaray team cannot concede 5 goals against one of the most important rivals in the league. We cannot explain this. As a Galatasaray fan, I was very upset and I blamed Okan Buruk for the result of this match. Because he should have prepared the team for this match. But he couldn't do that.

Still, I am hopeful for this season. Because we kept the team that has been champion for the last two seasons. And we signed important players like Michy Batshuayi, Elias Jelert and Gabriel Sara. I am sure we will become a better team. We just need some time.

This summer Besiktas really seems to be doing significant overhaul, they sold and loaned some players who could not play well with them and instead looked for and brought in better players.
For Emrecan Uzunhan himself, it can be seen that he has not performed well during his time playing for Besiktas, Antalyaspor or İstanbulspor and of course maintaining such players and only putting them on the bench can also be detrimental to Besiktas.
Indeed, the only mistake in having young players is the lack of experience and development of better playing skills, if he plays well with Antalyaspor, maybe in the future he can become player to strengthen Besiktas.
But I think that is not an easy thing considering that Besiktas currently has some pretty good defenders.

Galatasaray seems like there is a fire lit under them after the loss, I can see today that they are looking to sell their two players, and they are looking to buy some players as well, finally making some changes.

It is true that they got Sara before the game, but now they are looking for even more and hoping that they could make something work with the team. Keeping the same players may not always be great when you are the title winner, because players may get over confident and just play not so well, you need players who are hungry, and when you win two in a row, players may not be hungry for a title or a cup anymore, they may get too confident and not do that well. This is why I think they are trying to get rid of some of the players, and get other players instead, which may actually work very well for them.

I agree that they got too egoist for a while now, they have been celebrating like crazy for all summer long, and they made a total of just three transfers. One backup striker, one midfield and one right back. That's it, they did nothing else, just that three, and only one of them played so far, the other two hasn't even seen the pitch and we are already at game week, which means it will be tough for them to get used to the team. We are in august, these transfers came in too late, and they are still looking for more.

Beşiktaş finished a bad season with 2 trophies and found morale before the season. Beşiktaş spent the transfer season and the summer period well and I think they reflected this very well on the pitch in the Super Cup final against Galatasaray. Galatasaray, on the other hand, finished the 23/24 season as champions, but the quality of the game and the incompatibility of the squad in the match against Beşiktaş was striking. In my opinion, Galatasaray got complacent after the championship and bought unnecessary players in the summer. Unlike last season, there was a ghostly team on the pitch in this match. I am very curious to see how Okan Buruk and his team will start the season. The Turkish Super League will be very competitive this season. Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor strengthening their squads compared to last year will make the upcoming season more enjoyable and competitive.

Emrecan Uzunhan, who wasn't considered in the squad, was loaned to Antalyaspor again. He is still a young player, experience is very important in defense. Emrecan's loan was the right decision. It was already very difficult for him to play for Beşiktaş. At least he will have a chance to play in Antalyaspor. He was loaned to Antalyaspor at half-time last season and played in 12 matches. He will play again this season and gain experience, maybe he can be included in the planning for next season.
