In the case of the Europa League, the winners have been teams that have not been champions in their local leagues very often. Some of them have not even had a chance of being champions for many years. In my opinion Galatasaray could at least win the Europa League.

It's good news that Victor Osimhen's injury is not serious because, as most people observed, his impact in Galastataray is already visible. Without his threat to opponents' defense, the pressure usually falls back on Galastataray's midfield and defense, which has cost them a few points since his absence.

I know he would want it to come back as soon as possible, but it's wise to keep him away from the game against Antalyaspor to enable him to recover fully. There are still more important games with IF Elfsborg, Beşiktaş, and Tottenham, and his presence will matter a lot in these games. I am expecting to watch the match against the English side; it will be an opportunity for the Nigerian to show that Chelsea and Manchester United missed the opportunity to attract a world-class striker.

Galatasaray will play three games in a this week and I think all of them are critical. Although Antalyaspor is not playing the football they want to under coach Alex, they have always been a team that can pose a threat against the big teams. The fact that Antalyaspor will play Galatasaray at home could make it easier for them. Galatasaray will not want to risk Osimhen against Antalyaspor. Because Galatasaray have two more important games ahead of them.

The Elfsborg game is an important game for Galatasaray's continuation in the European cups and the Beşiktaş game is an important game to make up for the points lost in the league. I think Okan Buruk will save Osimhen for these two games. The disadvantage for Okan Buruk is that he will play important games in such a short time with a team that has no squad depth.

Osimhen coming back will be very good for us because he is a very good contributor.

Galatasaray really lucky to have Osimhen. But it looks like he might leave in January in case of getting a satisfying offer. Okan Buruk said that Osimhen indicated he wouldn't leave in January. Doesn't this mean there is a condition on his contract like a break clause? 

I think Okan Buruk just let it slip. Because at first Galatasaray officials talked about the situation like there was no such condition and Osimhen was going to stay until the end of the season. Galatasaray supporters had better pray for him not to get injured once again and stay for a full season also. In case he stays I think Galatasaray will have a huge advantage for the league championship. 

There are about 2 weeks until the Beşiktaş match. Osimhen will be quite healthy by then.
The Antalyaspor match is not very important, Galatasaray will find a way to win that match. But Osimhen is very important against Beşiktaş, it will be difficult for the team to win without him.
Also, there will be a European match before that match. Galatasaray should never lose the match against Elfsborg

Most chances we will have Victor Osimhen in next few days, but he services needed by Galatasaray after few days because their next game is against struggling Antalyaspor where they can play without him, but they needed him in match against Besiktas on 28th October and then against Tottenham on 7th November as both are challenging matches, and they needed good results from them for having their chances high in both Super League and Europa League.

No doubt their defense is having issues as they are having worst in top four teams with concede 8 goals in last 8 games they are having just 2 clean sheets which is also not good with things needed to be had much better results for them if they are looking for better end of their season.

In this season we have good investments from the Turkish clubs which are working on their quality and strength with things could be surely needed more time and effort because still they are not good enough for having better results in European competitions with recent results are clearly indicating how things were going and what problems they needed to be fixed if they want to have better results without improvement things will have no changes.

Coming rounds are going to be more competitive as we will have good work load on players and injuries and other issues can also have their share in these conditions.

well, while I won't disagree with the salient points you made in your comment I however don't agree with all because from my end I think the Turkish league clubs have been doing great accordingly to the strength of their league in Europe football. They ain't a renowned league like the rest of the EPL, Laliga, Seire A and the German bundlesliga which the press carry about at their back and I think this has been part of the success of these other league's which has gained the attraction of every player in Europe (making the Turkish league an alternative) and not mainly that some of these teams pay their players so much money that some of the Turkish club's can't afford to.

4-4-2 formation has always been yielding a good results for them since the coach has been using it, so even before Victor Osimhen joined the club it has been one of there best strategy, however I have not heard anything about Victor Osimhen being out for 5 weeks because if it was true I believe the social media would have carried it before now and besides i don't think his injury is that worst, so probably he would be back on his fit before then, so actually I don't think there would be any change on there formation if he eventually play the match because it will not have any effect on his performance but if maybe as the match progresses and the coach saw that the formation is not okay they can have a reformation then.

Thanks for the information.    I thought Osimhen was going to return in November. Because earlier I read something like he was expected to be out for 4-5 weeks at least. But according to your information, he should be able to play in the next Super League match which is in around a week against Antalyaspor away. When he returns I wonder if Okan Buruk will prefer a 4-4-2 formation again.

Probably yes, right?    Before he got injured 4-4-2 was really working in the attacking area to tell the truth. Icardi and him both scored goals in the Kasımpaşa match.

I think every team strives to become strong and good enough to win the title.  But something like this can be see in their matches as well. There is no doubt about it because it is a hard-working and well performing team But this could not happen until he became strong and play well for his team. A few days of strong matches are going to start in which he plays responsible and will prove good for his team.There are some players who are weak in the team but gradually they become strong by watching others.

As far as I have heard, Osimhen is expected to be back after this national break ends. There is a statement made by the manager Okan Buruk regarding this topic: beIN SPORTS

He says they just didn't want to risk Osimhen in the latest game because of his not being fully recovered. But he would be back by the next game. This is really good news for Galatasaray without doubt.    Because he already started to make important goal contributions. Unlucky him that he got injured right after starting to score his first goals.    As there is a Beşiktaş derby closing in too, they would really need him there.

But they should especially focus on their defense now just like you must have also mentioned already.

The bad performance in the Rigas match scared me. Rigas is a simple team and they were very happy with the 1 point they won against Galatasaray and this is normal. For Galatasaray, losing 2 points is a big problem. Maybe they will not be able to enter the rankings because of these 2 points they lost. Their situation is very good in the Turkish league but we can say that it continues badly in the European league with a surprise draw.

This is Fenerbahçe's biggest problem, there is no one who wants to be a presidential candidate in Fenerbahçe.

I thought Galatasaray would not make mistakes against much more dominant and simple teams in the European league this season, but as you know, we lost points against a bad team like Rigas in the second match. In fact, Galatasaray started the Rigas match well, but they could not keep the score, which seems like great inexperience.

There are more difficult opponents in the European league, let's see if Galatasaray players can play well against them.

You follow them better. Konyaspor really seems to be behind this season. They always lose in the big games. This match is likely to be like Galatasaray and Trabzonspor match. Even though they score goals, they concede a lot of goals as well. They have serious problems in defense. Beşiktaş should win this game and boost their morale before a tough fixture. It's necessary to get 3 points and play a good game. The fans want to see these two together. They don't want to see a team that scores a goal and then retreats to defense after taking the lead.

In my opinion, the Turkish league is similar to the Saudi league. I am talking about attracting players who are ready to retire or who are not wanted by the other big teams in Europe. The difference between the Turkish league and the Saudi league is that the Saudi league offers a lot of money to foreign players and the Saudi league has less quality than the Turkish league. But it is necessary for the Turkish league to start creating a good financial environment to attract good players who are young and have the best skills. I say this because it is clear that Turkish teams do not get very far in European competitions constantly.

They are not champions in their local leagues and do not dominate in their local leagues. But they will perform better than Galatasaray, who are champions of the Turkish league and dominate the Turkish league.

What you see happening in the Turkish league is as a result of the influx of star players from all over Europe and at such one should expect the big sides like Galatasaray and Fenerbahce to loose some important games because just as they are recruiting big players in same vein their counterparts are also doing the same which makes it difficult for a particular team to hold sway for a long time in the league, I believe the competition in turkey is not going to be too rossy for Galatasaray despite the fact they managed to attract a number of great players during the transfer window.
