There are so many names being rumoured with Galatasaray lately. Some of them are below.

There are even many more names who aren't mentioned here. Batshuayi is already signing for them though. Wan-Bissaka is another name who is close to joining them. Truthfully, it would be a wonderful right-back transfer for Galatasaray. He is still a young and skillful player.  Smiley  They can use him like an offensive back especially.

McTominay rumour is also pretty interesting. If they finish this transfer too Galatasaray midfield would level up surely. He can be useful in various positions of the midfield.

Fenerbahçe made a big noise by bringing in Mourinho. Galatasaray, on the other hand, have been quiet in the transfer window but have been filling the missing areas with the players they need. Batshuayi is one of these transfers. A spot on transfer for Galatasaray who want to strengthen their forward line next season. I don't understand why Fenerbahçe didn't want Batshuayi. He has a good goalscoring percentage and if he plays consistently for Galatasaray, he is an important candidate for top scorer. Most of the players on the list are the ones who will help Galatasaray dominate the league and stay in the Champions League. Wan-Bissaka would be the right player for the right back transfer.

Arda Güler scored a great goal in yesterday's match. It might be one of the most beautiful goals of the tournament. He is a great footballer. He has the ability to change the score at any moment. I wonder if he had played for Fenerbahçe last season, would Fenerbahçe have been champions? There were rumors that he would be loaned to Fenerbahçe this season. As a Galatasaray fan, I wouldn't want him to transfer to Fenerbahçe. I think he has the quality to change the whole balance. And if he had played for Fenerbahçe last season, he could have made Fenerbahçe champions.
I think Real Madrid adopted Arda Güler too much and I don't think they will send him anywhere. He showed himself in Real Madrid, now he is playing in national matches and as you said yesterday, he scored a perfect goal. As I said, I don't see it as very likely. I only see Arda Güler in Real Madrid for now.

Absolutely, the situation may change in his later years. They spent so much effort and money. Real Madrid will not give up on Arda Güler anymore.
Initially I also thought that Arda Guler would be able to be brought in by Fenerbahce according to Mourinho wishes but in reality he would not leave Real Madrid because leaving Real Madrid would be the same as him losing the opportunity to become much more popular player.
He is young player who has potential and playing with Real Madrid will make Arda Guler player with more titles in European competitions, course if given the choice, Arda Guler would definitely choose to stay.
Real Madrid will not sell him and if he can leave perhaps with loan option, Arda Guler will be very valuable for Real Madrid in the future and he just needs more games to gain more experience and improve his skills.

But considering that Mourinho failed to bring in Arda Guler, he had to look for other options and there are several names that Mourinho is targeting, one of which is Lukaku.

I am also pretty sure that Real Madrid is not going to let him go anywhere because the Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has also said that he has big plans regarding Atda Guler. And a lot of gloves also approached Real Madrid to get him online but Real Madrid declined those offers.

Ancelotti is always making positive statements about Arda. But he doesn't give him enough time. I think this is a negative situation for Arda. He should play more and develop more, but he might spend next season on the bench. I don't trust Ancelotti's statements, he's an opportunist trying to save the day and reassure everyone. To be honest, I wouldn't want Arda to return to Fenerbahçe even on loan. Last season there was a fierce rivalry between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. If Arda returns to Fenerbahçe, everything could turn in Fenerbahçe's favor.

Galatasaray signed Batshuayi, who had great stats for Fenerbahçe last season. His contract with Fenerbahçe had expired. He had very good stats at Fenerbahçe. He scored 44 goals and 5 assists in 75 games for Fenerbahçe. But last season he was left on the bench while Dzeko started. He didn't deserve to be on the bench. I think it was the right decision for him to choose Galatasaray.

The way Arda Güler is performing, and the performance that he has already shown with Real Madrid with such little chances that he got, I am pretty sure that Real Madrid is not going to let him go anywhere. Real Madrid is going to keep him very close. Yes, I absolutely agree that the goal he has scored for his country was absolutely incredible. It was beautiful to watch.

You need to remember the currency ratio though, getting those big names costs a lot, and only a few teams at the very top do afford to have a few of those good players, like how Icardi is getting paid a lot, but that is not common and only a few players in the whole league gets paid like that.

When you put it that way, does it still worth it to spend that on Di Maria? Not saying that he wasn't great, he used to be great, he used to be so great that he wouldn't play in this league even if you offered twice what you offer now, but right now? Not entirely sure, I feel like right now he doesn't worth spending that limited supply on him. I would rather see someone who is like maximum 30 years old or so, which means he could still be sold later on.

Di Maria would be a very good transfer for Beşiktaş. Even though he is 36 years old, Beşiktaş can get 2 years of top-level performance from him, a longer contract carries great risks. I think he showed a good performance in Benfica last year. He scored 9 goals and 10 assists in 28 matches and played successfully in the UEL. If Beşiktaş can get him, they will feel the positive effects of a great player in the team.
You can't sign such superstars at a younger age anyway. Nobody wants to come here when they can play for top European clubs. This is usually the last stop for these players and they come here to get a big contract for the last time. There is nothing reprehensible in that, players want to get a big contract for the last time before they retire. The money they will earn in Türkiye will be higher than in MLS. Besides the money, they are taking a challenge before finishing their career in a different league, in a different atmosphere. Being a champion here is not as easy as it looks from afar. The league is tough and the conditions are different from the top leagues they know. From that point of view, players choosing to play here is a kind of one last challenge for themselves.
I agree, these type of stars plays for Real Madrid level of teams first, and get paid a bit but then get a lot of wins at great places, then they grow old and normally they would be padi very little at bad teams, but they move to smaller leagues and keep getting paid a lot.

Like normally teams like Real Madrid would not even get him anymore, and even if they did, they wouldn't pay a lot, but a team like Besiktas could pay him 10 million a year, just to have that name, even the jersey sales alone would cover the half of that transfer anyway, so it is not a big deal. I think we should consider how Di Maria would fit the team before they do that though, I do not know their squad but I know that they did terribly last season, so I am sure they need a lot more players.

Expectations for the new season are quite high. I hope we will encounter a higher quality super league, a fairer and more competitive season this season. The developments in Fenerbahçe, the presidential elections and the transfer of the coach created a lot of excitement. These events have already made us feel that the next season will be different.

-The last champion is Galatasaray. They have to protect the title again.
-New season there will be 19 teams competing in Super League.
-İstanbulspor, Pendikspor, Fatih Karagümrük and MKE Ankaragücü are relegated.
-Eyüpspor, Göztepe and Bodrumspor are promoted.
-The league will start August 9.

There would be a serious tension on this new season within those relegated clubs because no club would like to remain on the relegation so they would try all there possible best to move out of the relegation on this season and also the reason why I believe their would be so much tension among those clubs is because if you evaluate those clubs you will no that almost all the clubs on the relegation has an equal performance but however İstanbulspor is the only club I'm not sure of because last season has been a failure for them and among those clubs İstanbulspor is the smallest club and if they are not able to work on the club they will actually end up going back to relegation again.

However Galatasaray on the other hand is still very active in performance so this season will still be very interesting for them because their performance is still the same way they are, so their target will still be to win this season, so all they need to do now is to outperformed Fenerbahce because they are the only club that can disturb Galatasaray this season.

Di Maria, one of the best right wingers on the free agent market, had almost signed for Inter Miami in the MLS but the deal fell through. Now all eyes are on this transfer again, Beşiktaş is back in the picture. If Di Maria comes to Türkiye, he will rock this league. There might be some people who think his age is too much, but we see what players older than him are doing in the league, I don't think it's a problem. I hope this transfer will happen.

I hope we will see an exciting and competitive league again. Last season Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe were in a great race. We all enjoyed watching them. I hope Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor will also be in this race this season. Because I don't want our league to turn into a Scottish league. I hope they will make the right transfers and make the championship race more entertaining.

My favorite team this season will be Galatasaray again. Because other teams have to make radical changes. Fenerbahçe changed their manager. Beşiktaş will also start the season with a new manager. But Galatasaray will start the season with Okan Buruk and the same players. Stability is on our side in the new season.
Of course, that is our wish in the future, to be able to see how more team will compete for the title, last season it was only Galatasaray and Fenerbahce who dominated, but next season we want change that is more competitive overall.
But basically here the only teams that can appear stable are Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, this has been going on for several seasons although occasionally there are other teams such as Besiktas who can show big surprises by fighting for the title and can win the Turkish Super League.
If next season Besiktas and Trabzonspor can appear impressive with more significant changes then it could be pretty beautiful league to continue participating in.

Two team with new coaches, this can be challenge in itself and can create different playing style than before, last season I also had an interest in Galatasaray being able to win the League and it succeeded.
But next season I tend to try to follow Fenerbahce developments and this is because Mourinho is with them and Fenerbahce has quite strong support from Aziz Yildirim.

Gabriel Paulista was the first signing for Black Eagles. Beşiktaş is renewing their defense line. There will be players leaving and those coming in must improve the quality. There is a vacancy in the foreign quota thanks to the departures. Paulista was bought as a stopper. His total cost will be 7.3 million Euro for 3 years. 1 million Euro signing bonus divided equally over 3 years. The salary is around 2.2 million Euro per year. Since there is no transfer fee for the player, the signing fee is appropriate. I think it's a very good transfer in terms of cost. When we look at the clubs the player has played in the past, we can see that he is top class. I hope he will perform very well here and contribute to the championship.

Thanks for creating a new thread for new season.  Smiley  I think it is better to do it this way unless it is a more general thread.

New season is likely to be much more interesting than the last one. Because Fenerbahçe has made a really big move like signing Mourinho.  Grin  Ali Koç has been re-elected though but I still think they will be more competitive next time. I'm curiously waiting for transfers to be made by them and Galatasaray both this summer.

Eyüpspor are going to be a team that I will be watching closely too. In Arda Turan's management they did great things in the 2nd league. They came here by lifting the trophy.

Long break between each season provides an opportunity for each team to develop their full strength to start the competition with an effort to achieve as many wins as possible until the middle of the season in order to fight for comfortable place in the competition.
When the middle of the season arrives, it will be more difficult for them to compete in an effort to surpass the points tally because in conditions like this the point difference can reach quite wide numbers, but I think those who compete fiercely will still only be owned by the top team who always dominate.
This is the only reason why the Turkish Super League is not much admired by everyone from various places, they are also unable to perform satisfactorily in European competitions even though for their Domestic League at the top is always formidable dominance.
Yes, hopefully the three teams promoted for the 2024/25 season will be able to show big surprise by being able to compete with the Turkish Super League team even though they are only team in down middle positions.
