What was "carnivale" about exactly?
early 1900's, dustbowl oklahoma/texas area.. group of "freaks" travelling and hosting circus activities. there's a mysterious figure that sits in one of the cabins.. lots of weird stuff ensues. main character is some special guy or something like that.
This show was definitely worth watching. I don't know how much I would like it if I watched it again now. Any idea why it got cancelled? Did it just not get that many viewers?
probably low viewership. it's definitely got a weird vibe to it, so maybe most might not like it. or maybe it was just ahead of its time.
It's kind of cool it seems like it probably had a lot of influence on the creators of American Horror story (maybe some of the same people worked on both shows?)
Definitely influenced American horror story, given that the next season of the show is going to take place in a carnival.

I was just looking at the highest ranking TV Series of all time on IMDB (with at least 5k votes), I had no idea that Cosmos was ranked that high (at #2 all time). I will have to check it out.
I have also never heard of "Leyla and Mecnun." Have any of you seen it? It is ranked #13

#2 of all time? i'm not so sure about that, but cosmos is pretty good. most of the stuff i've seen so far, i've already known though.
btw, louie is back.. i'm going to skip the clipper game, since i don't care for them.

Good list, gonna check it later. And to be honest this is me first time hearing about these 2 shows. I need to check top titles from that list and watch it all
