I think Elon Musk forgot that he can't eat his cake and have it back. He had fired many of the twitter employees and now the rest of then have decided to resign and this will have a big blow in the tire Twitter as a company with greater effect. I saw the news that he had booked a meeting the employees so that they can have a dialogue on how to resolve the matter.
If these people finally leave twitter, many things will go wrong with bigger consequences on the company. I still don't know why he decided to fire many of twitter employees at the first time. Let's see how this will work out.
You are underestimating his talent, don't forget that he ran Tesla or Space very well and was the richest man in the world at a relatively young age. No one knows the exact story behind that but I believe he is doing his job well. Laying off old employees and bringing in employees is also not new, it is almost a tradition of businesses.
If you read the news about Twitter, they also just announced that they just hit a record number of users.
The problem with that is the fact that Tesla was not his company, it was someone elses, so it was a company already doing fine, and lacked financials due to building a car costing a ton of money, you need to hire so many people and own so many things all of which costs money, and you can't just sell the car right away, you need to first perfect it.

So, he overtook it, and bought it from the owners and acted as if he was the founder, which he is not, he just some rich guy who took it. SpaceX is similar in mindset, other people came up with the plan, and he just paid for it. Twitter was already doing fine, and he overpaid for it, etc etc basically it’s a pattern for him.

It is well known fact that a lot of Twitter employees are leaving the company. Now the news that Tess Rinearson, who was made the head of Twitter crypto team has made a tweet stating that he is leaving the company. Many other people in the crypt unit of Twitter space also followed her and announced that they will also be leaving the company. What impact do you think this will have on crypto space in general ? I am sure they must be working on crypto inclusion on the platform in some way and now when they have left the decisions will be delayed in this matter.

This is a prime example on how Elon Musk can screw over something that has been working on the market- which is Twitter. He bought the company using his Tesla shares but he actually put the employees in a chaotic environment. He could have remained the workstaff as it is but when he slowly replaced the heads of the team, everything just went downhill from there.

Probably, Elon is planning something huge with this move. Since he owns Twitter, this would be his main platform to promote something in his business. In addition to that, any cryptocurrency he supports (e.g. doge, etc.) would definitely get the exposure and traction that he is planning to.
people are so much angry with Musk but I am sure he will have some better plans and idea. It is said that he is managing twitter well with 50 employees.
seem like there was over staffing in the company too

Twitter has been loosing a lot of workers, many have been fired and others are deciding that before they get fired and it goes down into record, they just rather quit and prevent having it in their credentials that they were fired from their previous job. As people are resigning, if the positions remain vacant, they will still have people that will apply those positions and be employed for it, One man's loss is another man's gain.

Things are really happening this days in the crypto space. With all this I doubt if more than 60% crypto investors won't leave crypto before the next bull run.

It feels like Elon is on some mad quest to destroy twitter from the inside, maybe it's his $44 billion dollar mission to stop the guy who was regularly tweeting his private jet travel plan - the most expensive take down in history. He really is being extremely wasteful with his money and other money that he has borrowed, crazy to think he is even expressing that it is ready for bankruptcy after he has only owned it a few weeks now. It will definitely be very weakened after losing so much talent which will be hard to replace and there are very few people who will be enticed into such a toxic work environment in future. It's impressive how badly he has managed the whole affair and how much contradictory stuff he comes out with.
but yet he reports that twitter is the most app used since he has joined. We must agree that this is corrrect.

This is nothing but Act of Elon.
He did not seem to be making Twitter as traditional outlook but more or less financial system now. If you go through his recent publications then many of them would state words like paid tweets, tipping the tweets, monetisation of tweets and what not. As a result various work flows are now changing.

Moreover, the first action Elon took when he entered Twitter was to fire the top management within a month. That definitely unsecured the minds of many employees. They had dedicated their hard work towards them and I believe what we are seeing now is the change which is intolerable by employees.
It is said that they resign, not fired out so it wasn't the act of Elon but maybe Elon is the reason on why they resigned because they feel that they are not comfortable anymore working with him and they think Elon is a strict guy. They are afraid that they Elon can be angry with them if they did something which Elon didn't really like. Last time there are reports that twitter workers are being replaced and now this.

I think you are right that twitter is now going to have a new look this time or there will be new features that will be spotted later on. Elon is a business guy and he paid big for twitter so he will surely use the platform to generate as much money as possible.

There's no impact of it on crypto just because she's assigned into a crypto department in Twitter and she resigns, I don't see any effect on it. Well, people are now praising Elon after having around 50 employees from the 7,500 that it has got before his acquisition. Now, he's working with the most talented and competent employees in the company. That's a lot of people that has lost a job for this known tech company but Elon is an experienced guy for this thing in owning businesses.

Meh.  Musk doesn't seem concerned, and frankly I have no idea what Twitter's "crypto unit" does or did.  It's probably a group that was just collecting a paycheck and deserves to be slashed.

I never cared for Twitter, FB, or any of these social media sites....but goddamn, this is an interesting time to be an observer of all this drama.  I remember vividly when those sites started going public, and I figured it was the internet boom 2.0.  I might have been completely wrong, since some of these corporations are actually profitable, but it does seem like they're all sliding downhill financially.

What I'm hoping is that Twitter survives under Musk; there seems to be a lot of politics behind it that could influence its viability, and that's kind of an enormous wild card.  Popcorn in hand and eyes peeled, tho.

What surprises you? I am sure the people who came to Twitter as a very free social network without "totalitarian habits" put their soul and strength into it. And now, when those fundamental values and features of the network begin to be destroyed, and diametrically opposed rules are being built, if not in everything but in many ways, they are disappointed and are ready to leave the company, where their work was crossed out in just a couple of weeks.
Moreover, the founder of Twitter is already working on a new network, the "heir" of Twitter. After that, not only employees but also users will leave Twitter. The prospects for Twitter are either the curtailment of the project in a few years, or the transformation into a semi-closed, paid, formalized social network. Of course, the example is not entirely accurate - but remember what happened to Skype after global commercialization - an uninteresting product for a small (against the background of the previous audience) group of people ... It's a pity, but this is natural selection Smiley

I read that Musk can now run Twitter even with just 50 people! You can imagine how Twitter went before with 7500+ people and achieved nothing. It seems that Musk’s decision to terminate the contracts with many of their employees is not a good thing, but for Twitter's efficiency it is the best thing. And it also seems that the resignation of the head and crypto staff at Twitter will not have any impact on Twitter's development towards WEB3, because in this industry there are still many young talents who are better and willing to work than them.

I don't think this has too much impact on the crypto space because Twitter is a social media platform, while crypto is a different thing. But we don't know why they left Twitter or maybe they really wanted to leave because they didn't get along with their new boss. And they're not likely to tell you why they're leaving and better keep it to them. And if they left Twitter because they wanted to gain experience in other companies, it's only normal that they finally decided that way. And I hope this will not affect the crypto market.

Are we going to get shocked by this news? Elon Musk is not yet done cleaning and reviewing all the positions on Twitter. So those positions that aren't reviewed yet and those that are called and retained must adhere to the new company's rules. Twitter is a bleeding company mate, it is a big company but it is losing. How do we expect a new owner to retain all these staff and its current rules and policies? Musk must do something big otherwise he just wasted more than $40 billion in acquiring Twitter.

The resignation of Twitter's crypto department head has an insignificant impact on crypto. What did Twitter do in the past that affected big time on crypto anyway aside from Musk himself using his account to hype and tweet anything that relates to crypto?

Oh, what are you talking about? Musk is a smart person and knows what he's doing. Not a single "holy place" will remain empty. Instead of some good employees, the best will come. Twitter needed a movement with its politics for a long time, and finally, it began. I am sure that there is already a queue for vacancies; the old army must go after their leaders.
Trump's account has been unlocked, which clearly shows that Musk has a completely different vision of the policies that the old leadership adhered to.

Maybe not resign but force to resign. We don't know what happening behind the curtain.

Either way, let's hope that these people know what they are doing. Can't blame them if they are really against Musk ownership.

Let's wait what will happened next.

There’s a new owner for Twitter and its expected to see old employees to leave the company especially if they are not ok with the new management. Twitter can easily hire someone who can be more fit with the position, they all have the resources to do this. This doesn’t affect crypto industry for sure, and Elon knows what to do by this time, this is also why he wants to hire a new CEO now to handle the paper works.

that is my take on this matter. for sure, those who resigned are not the last persons on this earth who can get the job done right. there are other talented and skilled people that they can hire. it won't affect the crypto market as it has no major influence in the market in the first place. elon got into this situation, so he knows what to do next. we will see how this drama will unfold in the coming days and if twitter can sustain or surpass the popularity in the social media category.
