I think, what they prefer is card games and sports betting games. Most gamblers nowadays are playing these two where they can easily learn especially in sports betting games. I know that there are really a lot of players in dice games but sports betting games is much played.

Same here, since then, I prefer card games like poker where I can really challenge my brain and decision making of what actions should I take next. I can also feel the tension of what if the other player is just bluffing or they really have a great card.

I mostly prefer the card games especially playing poker and baccarat because it is very easy to know and play all you just need to do is to know the different card combinations and eventually you will already know how to play poker, aside from poker I am also playing baccarat or what we called lucky 9 in which there is a banker and the banker will give you 2 cards and the highest possible card is nine. We know that there are lots of variety when it comes to gambling games which you already classified 2 of the types and we can really able to picture out when it comes to interest
basing on the current numbers of dice sites nowadays and only a few on card ones.We know that games can either be played by sheer luck or being strategic.
So it depends on which one you would prefer and there are really games that way too simple where you can play by just reading the simple rules ex. dice, slots etc.

One (card game) is skill-based gambling, I think while the other (dice) is luck-based.

About people like maybe i will agree, but not too much effort in games like card games maybe not. I think card games almost like sportsbetting, beside luck we can use our skill to help we win the game. Not only technical skill, something like mental skill not get affected by our opponents, or maybe can disturb opponent's focus in card game will be good to do too.

Yea, you can see on gambling section how many dice sites listed on there until now. They are still alive since there are lot of people playing on there, which is people are interested with this kind of game.
But among these 2 games, actually there are more people who interested in sport games (mostly soccer/football). They think they can do some analysis without relying on luck to bet on sport games.

Card games can be any games where you play using cards. Blackjack, videopoker, baccarat, HiLo (like the one on stake) can be considered as card games.
Favorite games is obvioulsy subjective thing, people have their own favorite games. There should be valid researches to know which games that are the most played one compared to other games.

Dude, just because it's easy to BET doesn't mean it's easy. Sportsbetting is probably where the house wins even more because people bet with emotions and nostalgia and always on their favorites, but not what mathematics says is likely.
