... I'm just trying to keep busy. But I havent slept all night. Or day now. So I imagine I'll be in bed not too long from now.

Please please...take a break Smiley

This helps me keep my mind off of whats going on at the hospital and I've had tons of support from the community so its not like you guys are stressing me out at all Wink lol. If you take a look at github youll notice that I do take a day or two off every week, I just work very quickly when I am working. But thanks for your concerns Smiley I actually took a break yesterday and was playing some counter strike global offensive. If any of you have that you can add me on steam, and maybe we can play a few rounds during downtime.

Tonight/Today I've been working on removing as much as I can from the source being dependant on openssl. Currently I've swapped alot of the files over, including smessage and the CPubkey and CPrivkey functions that most of the source is dependant on. One of the things I'd like to do is move away from the openssl dependency and switch toward secp256k1. This will help greatly help with syncing speeds by reducing the time each block takes to be processed by up to 65%. I've been looking at this for a while now and have had some better success whilst looking through bitcoins codebase. And finding and removing what was strung around ours. There were multiple definitions of functions in different files. Causing some un needed glut.

From the testing tonight, syncing from block 0 with a brand new wallet, took just over 20 minutes to download 160k blocks. Averaging around 123 blocks per second. IMO thats REALLY good compared to most altcoins around here, but once I'm finished with the secp256k1 ECDSA check's instead of using openssl's. This wallet is going to be LIGHTNING fast.

Concerning the recent problems, Once you swap over to the client that was released last night. You should not have any more problems with staking. And once enough of the new clients come online. I'll work on testing InstantX some more. Until then I'm just trying to keep busy. But I havent slept all night. Or day now. So I imagine I'll be in bed not too long from now.

Enjoy your day, and the time off work. if you have your holidays yet. And if you need me the easiest way to get ahold of me is through the IRC channel.

Hey guys it looks like some of the clients are having troubles with the proof of service implementation whilst testing InstantX. In dash the feature was introduced in 0.11.2 and later removed for 0.12.0. I didn't notice this right away and did end up adding it for 0.11.2. The reason it was removed is because the network was having troubles agreeing with each other on such a large network. And therefore i thought we would be in the clear after i had noticed it. Apparently that's not the case, And I'm getting a few reports that not everyone has the same list of masternodes again. I'm going to try and get a temporary client released for the people staking and for the masternodes. To get the payments for the masternodes back on track. To remove the proof of service implementation should only take a few hours.

I'll get back to everyone shortly about this.
How can not everyone have the same masternode list? i thought it is a fixed list for everyone joining the network

The masternode list is relayed to each of the peers as they join the network. The proof of service implementation adds in a scanning error, and a check for that error before relaying any of these masternodes. These clients that are not being relayed. are being falsely accused of having a scanning error as seen in dash 0.11.2 Thats one of the reasons it was removed. We just didnt experience it until I started using the services the masternodes are supposed to provide. I am just about finished with the changes now. And it will not require a hard fork. But is going to be a highly recommendable update. Or else you may run into false flags from the proof of service implementation.

EDIT: This list is not fixed, as checks are done every few minutes to make sure the masternode is online. The masternode list can vary from day to day. Dependant on how many people are running masternodes. Proof of service implemented a scanning error for them. Which seemed to vary from client to client. Causing the list's to differ.

Instantx testing is now underway, so far so good with the tests. I've been doing tests on the clients for amounts of 1 coin at a time, Currently the limit is 500 coins. This will greatly increase the speed that a payment processor is able to process payments, and return the goods or services that your paying for, This will also allow for bittrex to almost instantly credit our accounts when sending to bittrex using InstantX. And allow for a much quicker cross sending transaction. if you need to send coins to the exchange first.

I'm thinking of starting a classified marketplace once the payment gateway is in place..
Why creating a marketplace? Look into www.thecryptostore.com!

I can arrange everything for u!

great site. not really a fan of BTC transaction time hence I was inetrested in TX Darksend and InstantX

They integrate a lot of altcoins! Transfer shall be a candidate there, if the developments are holding this high level!

Ok. I'll keep an eye out for it.. I am hopeful that Infernoman can start on a payment gateway module that can be used as plugin for wordpress/joomla etc with CrossSend built-in. Couple with Darksend and InstantX, it can be quite a contender....

Infernoman: this is similar to what I was thinking with the "remmittance concept" with a bit more on international instead of just local  http://www.paybits.net/index.html#how-section

I've seen a few companies that do something like this. It's definitely a really cool concept and something I'd love to be able to do in the future. I have been trying to look into some of the payment processors that Neoscoin was added to, I remember we had some troubles a certain shady company. I've listed two companies below. Of which I think we should be looking into.

https://www.coinpayments.net/vote
https://coinomat.com/#OKPAY/BTC

Coinomat Should be having another round of voting soon, And CoinPayments donates a very large portion of anything generated during voting to the Electronic Frontier Foundation !

75% of proceeds will go to Electronic Frontier Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the remaing 25% will go to feed the faucets at the CoinPayments Block Explorers.

The only issue I've noticed. Is that it requires a large amount of volume on to stay listed on these sites. Something that may prove an issue for us with such a small community currently

* - All coins are subject to delisting upon 90 days if minimum monthly volume is below $5,000 USD. Requested extensions can be purchased for $250 USD for an additional 90 days.

I've put the coin request in already on coinpayments, So now we wait Wink

Before i invest in your coin i would like to know how mutch % it gives year

Depends on masternodes and staking weight

60secs block, 1TX per block split between stake/masternode.

Dev might be able to give you more specifics
