Been testing the hell out of darksend, and it is working much better. Anonymized balances are displaying correctly. The progress is updating properly. Currently i have the max rounds set to 16. A lot of the recent updates ive been working on are just the missing pieces of darksend and instantx. I've also added Rpc commands so that your able to use darksend from the daemon and "getinfo" now includes your darksend balance. Now that I'm more confident darksend is working correctly I can move onto diagnosing the problems with InstantX and start looking into some payment processors as promised.

Another thing thats been added is the ability to stake and run a masternode on the same client without affecting each other. The only downfall to this is you will have to manually split up your coins if the amount your sending is 10 000 and you do want them to stake. Part of this function also denies all Collateral inputs and Denominated inputs for staking. So the denominated and collateral amounts for darksend are not affected while staking.

Currently there are no immediate plans for a hardfork. But i have been make a list of things that need to be done for the next.

I do some some questions for the community regarding LiteMode which does disable a lot of features. Currently it disables DarkSend and Masternode functionality. Although if your running a remote masternode you are still able to control it. So I was thinking to make the wallet even lighter I could disable Stealth messaging and the Masternode manager page. This would be done as easily as adding "litemode=1" to your transfer.conf file. Remove this line and the new functions will appear ! Let me know what you guys think.

EDIT:
One of the things I will need to do. The client, while in lite mode doesnt pick up any masternodes for staking. So Currently only darksend would be disabled with litemode=1

Excellent work as always Infernoman.

One question: how hard is it to add "mass send" functionality with the current wallet build? i.e. the ability to send multiple transactions concurrently from wallet... just thinking about the future when we get the payment gateway in place (and eventually the remmittance platform) that users may not necessarily use TX for single online transaction only but may also want to ultilise the payment gateway/remmittance platform for mass payment such as payroll etc. This will allow TX to reach a wider target audience than some of the competitors..

Currently there is an option to add multiple recipients to the wallet. I havent tested it yet but the button is in the bottom left of the "Send" page. This will allow for payments to multiple people inside of the same transaction. A bit of updates from last night, I was able to get lite mode working correctly. It removes the darksend and encrypted messaging functionality while it is enabled. Another thing that a user brought up to me was the size of the keypool. The reason it has grown so large is because of the amount of addresses that darksend uses while mixing. So one of the things im going to do is decrease the keypool size with lite mode on. Thus reducing the resources the wallet needs.

Checked the Network Weight (as I do everyday) and this morning we are at 2.3 Million.  I haven't seen it this high ever.  This is great.  people holding and staking. Shows the faith people have in the project and infernoman. Infernoman is working really hard all the time to make Transfercoin a great project. Spread the word!!  Grin

Also I have been making quite a bit of updates to the GUI recently so I'm hoping that this has gotten it fixed Wink In the next few days I'm hoping that i'll be finished with this GUI crap, then once I release the next client. I'll feel more comfortable advertising about darksend Wink Instantx is still being a pain in my ass so far. But i've been trying to track it down over the past few days while working on the GUI and darksend.

I am sure you'll get it resolved sooner than later. Investors are still sitting on the fenceline lol.. I remembered I did exactly just that when darkcoins came out..   Grin Grin At the meoment, I am trying to find more BTCs to pickup more TX at this price!

If TX is able to replicate the BTC payment of Bitpay, we are in theory would be faster than BTC and thus superior with instantx and darksend

Can you check how much it would cost to get the 'remmitance platform' up and running? We might be able to initiate a StartJOIN crowdfunding and attract potential investors..

I'll do my best to look into this, I can't promise anything right away. This one will need a bit of time to get in touch with the right people. Providing the service with an owner Canada ( where I live ) is definitely going to require proper licensing to do so. I'll keep this in mind while I am working on other projects but currently I don't think I have the contacts necessary to go forward with that option... YET

I will start looking for some payment processors Once I get the final updates included for darksend instantX and pay for the android wallet to be reworked. I have another set of changes i'm about to push and have been working all day on the UI darksend, and InstantX again. So far I havent been able to find out what is going on with instantx. But I was able to scale darksend a bit better toward our network. And another cool feature which is yet to be tested. But now you should be able to stake on a masternode without it interfering with your masternode inputs or your collateral or denominated inputs. So in layments terms. Staking will no longer interfere with coins that your trying to mix with darksend. Or the coins you have set aside for a masternode.

Also I THINK the GUI scaling issues SHOULD be fixed on the next release. I only have a 1080p screen but i have a few of them. and I was able to stretch it across all of them without any problems.

EDIT:
Heres the wallet on my VM with a 2560x1920 resolution. unfortunately its just on a much smaller screen lol

Infernoman, is there a way to overcome this scaling issue? I am using Lenovo Yoga 3, windows 10 with 3200 x 1800 resolution..
Is it just windows ability to scale apps with high resolution DPI panels or is it something else? Thanks

Apparently I need a much bigger screen while working... On a 1080p screen the recent transactions does move to the side like shown, but the darksend box is still intact and not squished. I'll look into that for you

Has there been a fork of some kind??

TpkH8BdomBwEmCH9tmyYRwAfpDgNBqDq3z is my wallet address.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tx/address.dws?1439.htm shows that my wallet contains 38,514.4358248 TX

It also shows that my wallet last generated a stake 24 hours ago, but my wallet has been open and staking since then.

When I open my wallet it shows 42344.55529228 TX as the total in the dashboard???

When I go to "Send" in the wallet the total at the bottom of the page shows as 38111.2958098 TX

Nothing matches? I fear something is not right.......

I am running Windows wallet version v1.2.0.0-gc6b5a26 on a 64 bit Windows 7 box.

Anyone with an any ideas on fixing this?

Thanks Smiley

Also Yes There was a fork for free transaction's on the network. Part of this is for darksend. I've released versions 1.2.1 and 1.2.1.1 Either of which will be okay now. a link for 1.2.1.1 below

Eta on android wallet? What about payment gateway and trading bot? Payment gateway with cross send functionality would allow integration of cms software

I'm just trying to do some final tests on darksend. Getting the last few updates done on it. As well as the GUI. I would like to fix instantX too but that depends on the amount of time that needs to be put into it.

The update for android should only take a day or two once i give him the go ahead. I just want to make sure that everything that is currently in place is working correctly. So that when it gets to android. People will be able to use these features over there too. the block and transaction explorer. Aswell as Bittrex trading will be included in the new android wallet.

I haven't looked into payment gateways at all. I find that with a small community its hard for things like those to be used like they should resulting in most payment gateways ignoring or asking a fee for the addition. Even after we've been added to the payment gateway most of them require that the owner choose to accept our currency. Even if they dont ever see it. Some of them however automatically add you to all of their retailers websites. But I'm not too familiar with the current payment gateways.

If you have some suggestions I will definitely look into them. Also could you give a brief explanation on the "cms software" or perhaps a link with a bit more information?

EDIT:

Whoops missed one, As for the trading bot I would like to implement it right into the trading dialog in the wallet. This way it would require that you hold a certain number of coins in your wallet for it to work, rather than the conventional hold on bittrex. The reason I'd like to do it this way is there is many ways to alter the response of the API that your talking with before it hits the QT. Essentially tricking the bot into thinking you have that number of coins. But this is going to require a LOT of work even with my knowledge of the bittrex API. This feature I cannot give any ETA on but its something i've definitely been trying to work out in my head how to do it correctly.

Thanks Infernoman. CMS platforms such as Joomla/Wordpress allow plugin of thirdparty apps. If TX payment gateway can easily be intergrated into these sites as addons, it will encourage uptake. The aim is to provide some practical use for the currency going forward. My query previously on the 'remmittance platform' was also along this line. If a payment gateway can be setup to allow instant transfer/conversion of fiat-tx-fiat (and btc in between), this will again bring some practical use and could possibly attract some of the big boys to take up tx - the name 'transfer' is ideal for this.. Grin

Thanks for the insight Wink I'm not too familiar with Joomla or Wordpress but I've heard about how easy the plugins are to integrate. Which would be an excellent idea if we were to get a payment processor on board. InstantX will play a big part in any sort of remittance system or payment processor considering the TransferCoin transaction is instantly confirmed and ready for use again. At that point the payment processor will work in a much faster manner than normal. With an instant confirmation the person providing the remittance service would be able to confidently send out the USD, NZD, CAD or etc. without having to wait for any sort of confirmation time. And if your buying digital good or services they can be instantly received instead of waiting for confirmations.

Getting payment processors online is going to be much easier to get done than a remittance platform. And doing so would take quite a bit more money and legal advisement on the details on providing the service. So lets focus on the payment processor's and instantX aswell as getting ourselves some mobile wallets back online to help create some in person usability.

With the cross send feature being avaialble on the android wallet. You'll be able to make bitcoin transactions right from your transfercoin wallet on your android phone. Creating in person usability for all of the android users. And opening up a HUGE number of purchasing opportunities. On the IOS wallet. We need to work on getting shapeshift on board, since it uses a bit different of a system than the android wallet.

SO if anyone see's any viable payment processor's that DONT need us to convince their users after we're accepted to add us to their website. Please post the link. If your unsure whether or not htey do, post it anyway and i'll check it out.

Just wanted to show some of the Darksend working in the QT.  Grin The noted Rounds below are diff transactions completely.  I just wanted to give a view how the transaction details looked between Unconfirmed and Confirmed.  There are other coins that try to implement Darksend, but have not been able to do it. Infernoman and I were testing this morning, and it is working great.  Grin
