Very sad, just starting the match has lost 1 tottenham goal. It's very sad for Tottenham because they have to find 3 goals to qualify for the final. The match is not easy for Tottenham right now. Hopefully it can reverse the remaining time. Because the opportunity for Tottenham is already inconceivable.

It's just 1 - 0 lead for Ajax and 2 -0 on aggregate, If Tottenham can win 2 - 1 here it will be Tottenham going to the final on the away go rule, not Ajax.

Ajax are playing very, except Tottenham can come up with something exceptional, Sadly it's going be end for the road to Madrid for them.

Yes, I think it's difficult for Tottenham to win and enter 3 goals against Ajax, and the ajax play very well and compact.
but the match was still going on and there was still a chance for Tottenham to continue to attack and use the remaining 70 minutes to continue to attack, and I watched the match.

Great game last night by Liverpool, football when its best, whomever Liverpool will meet in the final they will be the favorite. I think there's a good chance for Tottenham to win against ajax toning.
The hot spurs havent won their last three games in all competition from what I remember since their striker kane went off with an injury. They only managed to beat brighton. The entire team seemed to have became flat with no confidence in their play.
I think ajax will overwhelm them in this game just like in their last game when they faced off.

Why would you think tottenham would win? Ajax literally eliminated much better teams already and actually won the first game, what else do you need to know about them before you stop doubting how awesome they are, I feel like Ajax has the bigger chance because last I remember Kane was out and without Kane they don't even have that big of a chance for goal scoring neither whereas they need to do that at least once this game without conceding.

Why not ? Were you expecting Liverpool to make ot to the finals after the first leg defeat ?
It's literally still anyone's game, Ajax should not feel confident about their lead, they are playing at home and away goals are vital.

I expect Ajax to see it through with a 2 - 1 win.

I believed no one doubt the professionalism of Ajax on the field of play due to their previous record against teams which seems more better than Tottenham and this why I believe Ajax will be over confidence in tonight game.

Liverpool was fantastic last night and I can't believe they managed to actually pull off 4-0 against Barcelona but if they face Ajax I want them to lose because showing how important what Ajax has done with its academy is more important, Ajax literally spends all their money into their youth roster and that allowed them to champions league semi-finals and possibly finals.
Liverpool was fantastic but the Barcelona side made a terrible mistake yesterday because they actually have the chance of scoring a goal yesterday but the player decided to gave Messi the ball.

Again and again maybe I will be fooled again by the absence of the main players. Spurs might not play Kane in the second lag against Ajax because of ankle injury, I'm just traumatized about LFC being able to comeback without Salah and Firmino, does this apply to Spurs? I was confused this time to make a choice because both of them were big teams and had good potential for the final, but with extraordinary Ajax being able to so far made me doubt Spurs were able to win.
Both side have the chance of winning until the fulltime whistle is blow. However, Ajax is a team which the Spurs cant afford to joke with because they usually make every opportunity count and the with league full of surprises this days there is possibility that the Spurs can surprise us just like the Liverpool cause Kane will be replace by Heung-Min Son which is a good and experience winger.

First of all, well done Liverpool. I felt it was all over after Origi made it 4 to nil. This is one of the worst nights of my life. I didn't even feel so bad last time when Roma did it, because I thought, at least we will learn our lesson.

Looks like we didn't. Messi is magic, he always is, he pulled off great moves last night but the defending was too awesome. Matip's stealing off the ball from his feet in one chance was the best, and then Allison save. We deserve to lose, I'm really so angry. So happy a week ago and now so down. Nothing but King's Cup to look forward to.

Now I just remember that chance wasted by Dembele in last minutes of first leg game...
This failure is total fault of Valverde. He didn't learned anything from last year. Barca came to Anfield to save score, not to play football. There was no quality in midfield, defence was in panic after second goal. When Barca needed to score goal urgently, they weren't able to create nothing, they were just passing ball. Especially Malcom - he just didn't knew what he need to do with ball.
I'm not even talking about Coutinho.
About Liverpool performance - it's fucking unbeleavable what they did. And probably that 4th goal is a best reflection of this game. Only one team played football tonight. And for me as a fan of Barca, it's so difficult to experience such disasters two season in a row.
P.S. Allison kicked out Barca in style second year in a row - remember where he played last year...

I just realized that now too. Allison has now survived two Nou Camp disasters, but kept clean sheets for both Roma and Liverpool. That guy is the unmentioned hero.

I have to say I agree this is Valverde's fault for sure. I was saying when we lost to Celta Vigo it was a wrong move. He rested all the stars when he knows we have to deal with Liverpool high press. We needed fit and sharp players, not rested and distracted. There was totally no hunger from all of them at all and it is because of the mentality instilled by the manager. This Barca is getting old and if we don't change, we will become Real Madrid too complacent.

This Barca is getting old good point .Barca was on soft legs after losing second goal ,fear did a job.So much great experienced players were defeated by fear same was with Real and Juve
But it was incredible performance from Klopp boys and his philosophy.Player is not a star and never will be.Team is star team is only one star

So taday i am expecting next great game.1-0 is nothing .Ajax will not focus on defending that advantage they will play to score.Spurs will be different team than in PL
Result i want Ajax to qualify because i like his play
So Ajax to qualify

Surprisingly, Ajax have actually been pretty poor at home in the KO stage (1-2 vs Real, 1-1 vs Juventus). It's like they feel extra motivated playing away and also being behind in the aggregate score...Maybe things will change today, who knows.

I'm gonna back Spurs tonight. It's been over 10 years since we had an all-english CL final, I think it's time for another one  Cheesy I'm taking Spurs win @3.10. #COYS.

This are exactly my thoughts for this match and my bet for the evening. i even went with high stakes for this one. I would just add that Spurs will have Son and Sisoko today from minute 1 and in the first match they shoved they can limit Ajax play especially in the second half. English teams are usually very strong energetically at the end of the match so they have great chance if they get to 60th minute with positive result.

Ajax is a 4 times champions league champions. Where is Tottenham? English team scores only in their own home ground.
People may argue, it's not the same team but neither are any.
It's a rare event for ajax to play with tottenham but the energetic youth team of ajax would have a clear advantage over the English team playing away from home.

@mic I didn't know you were Belgian! You felt any special connection with Divock Origi last night and against Newcastle on the weekend?

I'm totally gunning for Ajax tonight. I would have preferred Juventus actually (my fantasy was Liverpool knocking out champions from all the Big Leagues) but actually the way Ajax has been playing, they fully deserve to go through, Juventus was truly a tired Old Lady in the end.

Odds aren't so special at all, so I parlayed Ajax with an AFC game which was won in the last minutes by ex Evertonian Fellaini! So if Ajax win I get a tidy 4/1 winnings to add to a really good Champs League campaign so far!

Spurs can probably nick it, though, because Son's back and they're actually a really good team... but like tokeweed says, it would be super boring because we've already met before. All credit to Spurs, all respect, but I'd like to play a tougher opponent (and Ajax just about is better than Spurs without Kane!).

Liverpool and AJax will compete in the final, I am optimistic that the Ajax can beat Tottenham in the semi-finals of the 2nd leg.
I think the same but here im a bit sided. Ajax is on a roll and preforming great and cant be hold back easily. Hope to see a great match tonight.
Tottenham could choose to be inspired by last nights Liverpool performance against a side that thought were already in the finals, without reasonable doubt I don't see Ajax slacking around and making the same mistake Barcelona made. If there is money to be made then Ajax is the team to make it happen!

Another reason Ajax wont lose is because they are playing from home( liverpool showed us what effect the 12th player has on a team..so can they), Ajax is chasing a treble and spurs isn't the team to stop them!

There are days when you feel like things aren't working out for your team when it really shouldn't be happening and I think that was  what happened to Barcelona. All the 4 goals you will see from Liverpool wi make you feel like Barcelona was outsmarted in all of them most of them aren't even contested when they jave scored that goal. During the match I cannot see any spirit to win wth Barca and they might got too comfortable with their early lead at the 1st leg that is why they got careless in this match.

For tonight, I'm gonna go with a draw, 1-1 maybe. I expect Tottenham to have a shot at qualification with Sissoko starting this time, Vertonghen fit to play and Son back from suspension.
I don't think tonight's game will be a draw. Because ajax can be said to be strong in defense and plus tonight's match is played at ajax home. Of course it is very difficult for Tottenham to play optimally, but how come Tottenham must play full to be able to advance to the final. Because in a match it can happen.

Winning Opportunities:
Ajax: 42%
Draw: 26%
Tottenham: 32%

I still remember last time around at Juventus stadium where Ajax defense looked lime they knew each other positions even with eyes closed, that is how disiplinate they were. Now they are playing in their home stadium and they can show even better performance and they may win the game easily and qualify.

I really enjoyed last night's game. So much fighting spirit with the subs doing a great job.
That's the kind of night that makes sports special : you don't think about your winning bonus, your instagram followers or else, it's only about what you achieved with your teammates and your supporters.
That's why you become professional athlete and sadly too many footballers tend to forget about that.
Congrats to LFC for a well deserved qualification.
