I read news about missing players for Liverpool including Salah which makes things even worse for LFC... Tomorrow game will be very hard, i cannot imagine them winning unless Barcelona playing with substitute players..

With Salah missing, so does every dream of Liverpool hoping to cause an upset goes out through the window, and making a comeback after the first leg defeat seem pretty much impossible now, I don't see Origi and Shaqiri causing much threats for Barcelona, Barcelona might even as well defeat Liverpool at Anfield with such tactics.

Ajax Amsterdam team value is around 380$ million and that's pretty good for a team that's not very popular these days, at least not as popular as Real Madrid or Juventus, because it's playing in Eredivise. They've come this far because they are just playing way too good, their quality is very high and now their confidence is at the highest level. It will definitely be interesting to see how they play in the final against Barcelona.

Actually this is something that is usually done by Ajax every year or indeed their tradition. And the Ajax players have already got the next season contract to change clubs. For example, one of them is Frankie de Jong, who is officially in Barcelona next season. And there are some players who are still in negotiations for the European team. So this is indeed ajax habit to sell players to big clubs in the sense that these players can develop again in a bigger club.

Indeed, if they manage to pull it off against tottenham they all will have transfers coming up. Big change they will beat tottenham in house.

I think Liverpool has more of a chance for a miracle being at home and after what Tottenham showed today.Literally, Liverpool has a better chance of making to the final! I still can't wrap my head around how Tottenham keep doing this year in year, they play so well at the start of the season to way pass mid season then, all of a sudden choke on all their potential achievements a very few weeks to end of the season.

Looks like it will be Barcelona vs Ajax in the final, my preference would be for Ajax to win. They are a team built on low spending & just by nurturing their youth players they are here. I do think that Barcelona will win though.

In CL season 2017/2018 Quarter-finals, Barcelona wins against Roma 4:1 in the first leg, but in 2nd lag in Italy, Roma wins 3:0 and go to semifinals. I think Liverpool is a much stronger team than Roma, and they have a chance. Not significant but there are. This year we saw it many surprising results, why not one more from Liverpool.
But you are missing one important point. Roma had an essential away goal but Liverpool departed Spain with no away goal advantage. Even if Liverpool scores 3 goals in upcoming leg, match will forward to extra-time and penalty eventually. I don't think Liverpool have that much strong attack to score 4 goals against the duo of Pique and Lenglet and especially Ter Stegen (this guy is beast). Moreover, except Van Dijk, Liverpool defence looks quite hollow. If they play too much of attacking football, I think Barcelona can easily counter-attack with the combo of Messi and Dembele (he has to start in second leg).
Also if we compare Roma of last year and present Liverpool, they both had same goalkeeper. Defensively both look exact similar. Current Liverpool is not too better than last year Roma so this factor won't effect Barca I guess.
Has anyone ever thought about what will happen to Barcelona after Messi retires ? I mean they have a great youth team and that academy (la masia ? something like that) produces great number of players every year but considering Messi is just one and only which helps them get above everyone else if Messi retires I think Barcelona will become another "good team", like city was a good team, Liverpool is a good team, even ajax is a good team this season, I think Messi is the one that makes Barcelona above those teams, without Messi Barcelona is just another one of those teams.
Real Madrid was a good team this year, they got eliminated because they sold Ronaldo, well Ronaldo was a good player but he got eliminated too, so I really don't know what will happen but I hope it doesn't happen for a little more while.

Indeed, if Ajax will intensify more effort when they get to the final with Barcelona, anything can happen becasue football is full of uncertainty. Although between the two team, Ajax are the under-dog but can still surprise Barcelona and the whole of football with their youthful age.
Full back reading the striker well and the striker knows that the full back knows where to put the ball is 'out of context'...? Nay. I think that's the kind of things they do in practice.
I'm not saying they didn't know what they were doing, with out of context I meant that nothing was happening in the game (Pool wasn't under siege) and all of sudden BUM! Barcelona scored.Yeah... I think that wouldn't have happened if the guy who was supposed to mark the full back was a couple of paces nearer. Dunno.
