So I was checking the odds yesterday and both Spurs and Ajax were around 2.80...Today, things are looking a bit different: home win @2.25 / Ajax win @3.10 (a bit higher in some bookies)...Not bad, though, I'm surprised Ajax is +3, you would think that after taking out Real and Juventus, they could be seen as the favorites to go through, but no, people still think they're the "underdogs".

It's not a good idea to place bets on ML because so far the two teams have the same opportunity so to avoid risk I think BTTS is the right choice
Ajax always scores goals in every game and Tottenham don't want to be defeated at home

Totenham vs Ajax

I think it will be a tight match, Totenham as the home team will have more advantages than Ajax but on the same time Ajax has proven that they are Giant killer after they beat Real Madrid and Juventus. Totenham is going to have their 2nd Semi-Final match in the history (the first one was in 1961/62 season), too bad some players are missing such as Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.
In case of betting, I think it will be better to bet on over/under goals instead of who will win the match.

Both are eager to win and hopefully a joy to watch tonight.
Still have the feeling ajax stands a bit stronger reading the above posts.
Just a gut feeling there will be 1 goal but who....

It is obviously the end of the competition for Ajax. They have done a great job by kicking Juve out but I do not think they can manage Tottenham this time.

I think the same but was just reading the newspaper while drinking my morning coffee and it says that Kane and Heo Son Ming will not play tonight. That is not good for Tottenham because they lose a lot from their attacking side and I don't know who will play in their places tonight.
That is very unfortunate but perhaps it only makes the strength of the two teams even. Fernando Llorente is equally a good asset for the spurs and he could pose a serious threat to Ajax as he is likely to take Kane's place. We have just some hours to see how it ends. My odds are still with Tottenham.

Tottenham - Ajax

I'm not betting a cent tonight, just sit watch the game, and have fun  Cool

I want Ajax to win as well. Due to the fact that Harry Kane is not gonna play tonight for sure and given that the condition and the recent performance of the team is not so good during the last games i think that the Spurs are going to play with a defensive style. And as Ajax is a full attacking team we are probably going to see an interesting match.

Ajax has no injury concerns or suspensions for tonight's match while Tottenham will have plenty of doubt in their attack without Kane and the suspended  Son Heung. Ajax is a team looking to play, they are not holding back and keep pushing their opponents to their limits. The way they manhandled Juventus was impressive and Juve is a stronger and more experienced team compared to Tottenham.

Therefore, Tottenham VS Ajax - 1:2

Tottenham - Ajax

My favorite here is Ajax, of course, can't wait to see the match tonight
There will be a great football to watch for sure, the young team of Ajax will for sure attack Tottenham from the fist minute

I'm not betting a cent tonight, just sit watch the game, and have fun  Cool
Both teams show surprisingly good results in CL this season. It's a first time for Tottenham in semi-final as well as Ajax hasn't played at this stage for a long time. So I'll be glad to see any result of this game. I also hope to see a tense fight and many goals tonight. Fun comes with a good score after all.

well, you made me thing that here we could see an "over goals", so why not try a bet with an OVER 3.5, ODDS @3.65  Cool , or a "safer one" OVER 2.5, ODDS @2.05

Many people think that Ajax will have an easy qualification because they have eliminated stronger teams than Tottenham like Real Madrid and Juventus. That may be true to a certain degree but I think that Tottenham has better chances to qualify. They didn't care much in their last game at home and lost to West Ham.This makes me think that all their focus is in the Champions League.
Tottenham seems to have to focus on the champions league. Because this is their last chance to get a trophy this season. But they must be remembered after the match against Ajax later. There was an English league match against Bournemouth, to keep third place in the English league. And I'm sure Tottenham are ready for the match against Ajax.
In mathematical calculations, Tottenham must be able to focus on two competencies, they must still perform optimally in the EPL because they will be risking Champions League tickets next season. But there is a good opportunity because totenham calculation is far more favored, although the ajax has killed a large team but the totenham power is predicted to have a far better chance. This is a difficult choice for Tottenham, they must be able to share the focus and I am sure that Tottenham wants to maximize the opportunities available.

The mistake of Real and Juventus were probably that they were too cocky. Ajax clearly the hungrier team but they showed us in the group stages how inconsistent they could be, not to mention their own form in the domestic league (not that Real or Juve are that much better!). This is tight. Spurs probably feel they can risk one EPL game, with all the top 4 rivals stumbling all over themselves. Kane or no Kane, they have a team gelling well and can dig in deep. Ajax will be fresher and have youth on their side, but we all know how immaturity can be punished. Just need to see Dortmund vs Spurs for a reminder of this.

I'll back the underdog, which should be Ajax. Because if Liverpool make it to Spain for the finals... god forbid we get a dull all-English encounter. Ajax Liverpool should be a fantastic final! If we get past Barca on Wednesday, that is!

And how many players are injured at Tottenham?  It was a long list the last time I checked about a month ago...
Kane, Harry Winks, Lamela, Aurier, are all injured and will miss the game tomorrow. Sissoko also suffered an injury a few weeks ago, although. I think he'll be at least on the bench (I doubt Poch would rush him knowing that the 2nd leg is next week). They're also missing Son for suspension. I still think Spurs have a good chance of putting up a decent fight against Ajax.

Ajax never was trying to defend result what was giving them qualification
They were pushing for more goals
Game has 180 min for them not just 90 min
It is simply great pleasure to watch how they are playing

Ajax has been very lucky in the tournament till now. But their luck will run out next week against Tottenham.

Lucky ? You've gotta be kidding right ? They've been the most unlucky team in this tournament! Where they are now has nothing to do with being lucky, They are brilliant and just that's it! They played against Bayern Munich in the group stage, Madrid at the round of 16, and Juventus at quarter finals do you still consider them lucky, They were obviously better than any these teams over the two leg matches, and Only lost once, at home to Real Madrid which was controversial, They then went ahead to win the 2nd in a grand style, The same thing against Juventus, They've not been lucky, they fully deserve all their results so far!

Yes, they worked hard for their victories and I wasn't trying to downplay the effort they put in the ground. I was just saying that the things worked out for them at the right time and the other teams couldn't make use of the star power. If you remember their match against Real Madrid, then you will realize that luck played its part. Everyone had written them off, after the 1-2 loss at home. But the away match was such an upset and no one expected that result.

Here is my prediction for tomorrow's game between Tottenham and Ajax.
I'd say 1-0 for Tottenham.
I'd really like Ajax to win that semi but I don't know why, I have a bad feeling about this one. They're young, they have been extraordinary in that tournament but I think they'll miss that last step. They'll be remembered for what they did against Real and Juve but I don't think they'll get a shot a the title.

I share your sentiment mate, but I hope Ajax will at least get an away goal tomorrow, Tottenham will be wary of them too. My prediction for the match however is a draw, 1 goal each.

The defeat that happened to Tottenham from West Ham shows lack of concentration to me rather than a focus on the Champions League.
Ajax is a more aggressive team, full of young players who want to be noticed from scouters from big clubs so they will definitely give their best chances to win this game, thus they have better chances for qualifying.
