I like those fixtures for the semis.
I guess Ajax can go through even though Tottenham is a hard team to beat. They're now the favorites... which might actually not suit them.
In the other semi, LFC is my favorite. I don't really see any weakness in them. Not that Barca really has any but they have a few inexperienced (and immature) players that could fail miserably in such important games. Plus Klopp is a better coach than Valverde and that's an important point at this stage.

With the result from this weeks champions league and Europa league, we now have 4 teams from Premier league, that have a chance to get to the finals, Tottenham and Liverpool both have a good chance to win their semifinals in champions league and both Chelsea and Arsenal looks like favorite to win their semifinals in the Europa league.
I'm just still worried that Ajax will make another surprise this time for Spurs, and for Liverpool. Honestly I want to see Liverpool return to the UCL Final but Barca is a strong team which certainly won't be easy. But, if Liverpool are able to beat Barca then it seems like the UCL champion will be achieved by Liverpool.

TBH i would rather love to see Spurs vs Barcelona / Liverpool vs Ajax in the semifinals. Liverpool vs Barcelona would be a perfect final of this season, sadly they will play in semifinals already.

Not that I've ever felt so mean, but I'm sure they're even worried about Watford right now (who are, btw the Porto of EPL), I can't imagine how they as a team must feel, not that I'll ever shed a tear for Sterling. Not sure if their fans even really understand heartbreak, but it's not bad news for us.
Definitely hope City feel the need to prove themselves against Spurs again (because that will ensure Spurs can exploit their brittle defence) but oh man, bring on Barcelona! I know people think Man Utd would have been easier but Liverpool actually relish these type of teams. The more they come at us, the more we come back at them.
Strange Ajax's 20 yr wait for a semi was always the talk but people wrote off Spurs long after the draw.
@upside: true enough but Ajax have actually gone against their norm in the past few years and started buying players. So they are immediately almost seeing the impact of that.
An incredible match we witnessed last night.Man city Is out of the UCL.Spurs have reached Semi final after 1962.I think city was lack in Defence which was the advantage for spurs.Spurs will be playing agianst Ajax and Barcelona will face Liverpool.Two interesting match is coming on our way, I will bet for Barcelona and Ajax.

Seriously I did not see any of this coming at all. The only games that we can say was expected was Barcelona beating United (and I think united had a bigger chance in my eye than Tottenham and ajax honestly) and Liverpool beating Porto for sure. Ajax is definitely a small club to this day, doesn't matter if they won or not they already sent one of their biggest stars to Barcelona for next year and I am sure if someone pays enough money they will send the others as well, they have a great 19 year old defender which I feel if someone pays (which eventually they will) will be gone as well.

Fantastic game last night for neutrals. I was on the edge of my seat till the last moment. Couldn't believe there was four goals within 11 minutes, Has that ever happened before?
I think Tottenham are going to seriously miss Son. I think Ajax will probably beat them now especially if they play like they have been. I don't really care who gets to the final or wins though. Would have liked to have seen Barca and Liverpool in the final but I guess a semi will have to do.

Not necessarily. Liverpool will have the double in their sights so the pressure is still on for City. City have a couple of tough games coming up and they've got Tottenham again on the weekend and that could be dirty. Anything could happen. I'm predicting a bloodbath either way lol. If City lose a game now they're probably done. Even dropping two points on a draw may kill their chances.

I think the semifinals has an even match-up of teams, with Liverpool vs Barcelona and Ajax vs Tottenham it would have been unfair if Ajax had to face Barcelona and Liverpool facing Tottenham, then we could have been expect a Barca vs Liverpool final, but here we are with all teams having almost a 50-50 chance to make it to the finals.
I'm rooting for Barcelona to go all the way to lift the trophy still!

Dont ignore Barcelona as semi final is between Barcelona vs Liverpool and Ajax vs Tottenham, so one favorite team and one under dog team is going to come to final. Hope that final will be between Barcelona vs Tottenham and Barcelona wins it.

I thought Manchester City would have an easy win and qualify yesterday night but when I saw the result of 2-2 in just eleven minutes I knew that this would not be true easily and in fact was not true at all.I think though that Manchester City 5th goal was valid different from the referee so I feel sorry for them and congratulations to Tottenham.
Last minutes before match begin i was decide to pick both teams to score for the match Man City vs Tottenham although i won it but the results really unexpected me that Tottenham playing good and able to make 3 goals and unfortunately Man City have to bury their dreams to get champion league trophy this season but this is advantages for them besides Liverpool because they can more focus to their local league

a quick first-half goal from sterling I thought that was enough to kill the spurs last night. but last night Spurs played very well as in the final match, full of determination. awesome first half. spurs are worthy winning the match. Playing at ManC's cage is not touched by them. pep must be very disappointed with this defeat. I really didn't expect it.
