^ I think Liverpool vs Bayern could also be one of those low scoring games between to good clubs. Bayern could play more defensively and try to get one away goal in, two if they're lucky.
I got 1 - 2 for Barca at our CL betting pool, but made a bet for them -1 at 2.33. Seems like a fair bet considering that they always reach the KO stages every year and go thru. The pressure's on Lyon imo.

Tempted to take Barca -1 at 2.22, away vs Lyon. I mean I know Lyon did well during the group stages but this is the moment it starts reeaaally getting serious now. Barca is in the CL KO stages every year. So it's just another walk in the park. Lyon not so much... Lyon has to be feeling the pressure right now.
I am looking at Lyon Vs Barcelona head to head. They have played 6 matches so far and Lyon was able to draw only two matches, never won any.
This is clear for me that there will not be any big drama in the next match. I an quite sure that Lyon is not gonna win. The best case for them will be a draw but looking at Barcelona I do not think they will give any chance to Lyon.

The OneHash one is very tempting. After reading your post I checked with PaddyPower and there they have 10/11. The odd for Bayern is 13/5 which means if an arbitrage betting will bring good profit assuming the match is not a draw.Very interesting.

Kingsley Coman got injured for Bayern on Friday night but it seems he will be able to play VS Liverpool in a few days. I see Liverpool winning this one 2:1. Bayern doesn't look as strong in the previous years.

Most of The UEFA campions league games are just getting boring since they repeat feature almost every season. We all know Barcelona is going to win Lyon due to previous record and Barca recent form. Don't think I'm going to watch that match but I love rooting for the underdogs so this season I go for a win for Lyon maybe this will be the time they finally win Barca and home advantage might be in their favour so I predict 3-2 in favor of Lyon.

Seriously ? Any team Cristiano Ronaldo is on is the favorites no matter where he plays however Juventus also became bigger and bigger with the recent years transfers. Look at Dybala and so forth they are really good. Madrid side is not bad at all but even with a stronger midfield they defense can't handle the offensive power of Juventus.

It happens all the time, one team with 60%+ possession and 9 shots on goal and so forth while other has 30% or so possession with 2 shots but the team with 2 shots win, this will be like that. Juventus just has so much good players going forward its almost impossible for anyone to keep them from scoring.

Not sure about the correct score prediction and it looks like the away team will be the winner for my temporary prediction.Will it be crazy to bet ML - Barcelona, Bayern, Juve, Man.City.
I think Man City and Barcelona will win with a - 1.5 Handicap, While Liverpool will have my backing on ML and Juventus would be a draw for me.

I did. I'm basing my prediction on the two games Lyon played against City in the qualifying round (and a bit on their recent win against PSG). They were clearly the better team ! And that wasn't against a weak City team who did play at 100%, needing the win.
Lyon is a young talented team, a bit like Monaco was two years ago. A player like Ndombele will soon be a star. Fekir and Depay are pretty good and could start in a few top european teams. Others like Mendy or Aouar also have a bright future in front of them. I'm not saying they'll beat Barca but I think they'll hold their own.
Juventus recovered Bonucci, who is already available tonight for their Serie A match, Chiellini will also be available (sitting on the bench tonight) so that is a big + for Juventus. I still don't see them winning because Atletico's midfield is stronger both individually and on a team level. 2:1 or 1:1 for Atl Madrid is my prediction.

Its never been easy to predict about these soccer matches because any team can do any performance in any match MU is doing good in recent matches and they still have chance even Dortmund is also very lethal at home turf.
Manchester United got its chances in the first game.
They won't have any better performance in an away game against a team which is 10 times stronger than Man Utd. And I think that Di Maria is very motivated to disqualify Manchester United from the Champions League in order to prove that he is skilled and there other variables that didn't let him play well in the Devils.

I think they could easily be the teams to advance to the 1/4 finals. Potentially Liverpoop & Atletico could be in place of Bayern & Juve though....potentially.

hilarious closed the thread after the group stages because there was a long break before the knockout stage. It was to stop signature spam & shit posting. People who know nothing about football were using it as a thread to increase their weekly post counts.
