They belong to very best candidates for the title. Like in the past season, their aggregated result was decided by a few minutes and moments. Manchester City mostly won it convincingly but two late goals of Rodrygo Goes saved Real Madrid. The rest in extra half is nightmare for Manchester City but I don't think Real Madrid were stronger in that match.

This season might be a little different for Real Madrid. because even though they have a stronger mentality, the age of their mainstay players who are no longer young will still affect their own performance and will not be as good as last season. Pep Guardiola's team is currently in high motivation. They can't fail to come back this season. Because last season they almost made it to the final. But the last minute of the second leg was truly a tragedy for Man City. And be a miracle for Real Madrid. and actually in the last season Man City always managed to outperform Real madrid. it's just that Man City was off guard at the end of the game at that time. Real Madrid's wide experience has been a major factor in their successful seasons in the champions league. Manchester City might have a better team but the character and mentality of Real Madrid players distinguishes them from Manchester City. Both teams have what it takes to progress to the next round but only one team can make it to the finals, we shall see which team it will be.

No one has as much experience in the CL as Real Madrid in recent seasons. I agree that Manchester City have a better team, but individually they also have 2 great players in de Bruyne and Haaland. Real Madrid has Benzema and Modric, I think you can cancel them out against each other. Modric and de Bruyne have a comparable level. Haaland and Benzema ditto. I know how Madrid can be in the champions league but I got the feeling the Man City vs Real Madrid tie will turn out quite like the Man City and Bayern Munich tie.
I feel Man City will progress through and it might not be as difficult as we all imagine. Its difficult for people to bet against Madrid because of their history in the Champions league but I believe history won't have a role to play this time around. As a matte of fact, I believe Man City will create history this time around as they will go ahead to win not only the champions league but the treble because they will win the FA cup and league too.

Actually we see that Napoli's game is much better than Ac milan, but maybe because Ac milan is much more experienced in the Champions League and this might give them more chances to beat Napoli and advance to the semifinals, now Milan meets Inter Milan which is where the meeting between the two the game is often led by Inter Milan, the two of them will eliminate each other to advance to the Champions Final.

I see the current strength of Milan and Inter is not much different. However, if you look at Milan's performance when they were able to beat Napoli, Inter must be wary of that. The Champions League has a different atmosphere even though these two teams are both playing two legs in the same place.

Napoli are basically favourites, it's clear to me there is a reason. His success in Serie A and his relatively stable form led most people to believe that Napoli was the favorite to reach the final. Some people underestimated the chances of Milan appearing to be limping due to their unstable form, but in fact Milan was finally able to silence all these assumptions by beating Napoli in the first leg and drawing in the second leg.

Milan also has the chance to win a ticket to the final against Inter in the semi-finals, but now Milan is the favorite compared to the quarter-finals. Milan's chances are good, but I'm not sure Milan can win this tournament after a very long absence.

I previously said that Napoli depended too much on Osimhen. which in the end, they lost their way against Milan without Osimhen.  in the second leg, it became clear that Osimhen had not fully recovered from his injury. in fact, it's almost as if Osimhen is rarely seen. well, just before the last 10 minutes of the round, Osimhen looked to be playing well. unfortunately, Nopoli failed to advance to the next round phase.

On the other hand, Inter showed something different. even when playing a match at home to Benfica, Inter was able to prove and win the match. in the second leg, Benfica played all-out. but unfortunately, his fate is the same as Nopoli. which in the end, both Milan and Inter both qualified for the next phase.
