If any of these teams have experience in the champions league before, that should be a past glory by now. We’ll likely have a boring final. The match between these two shouldn’t have happened now but rather they should both meet either Real Madrid or Manchester City individually . The Real Madrid and Manchester City match is the real talk now, as we all know the outcome of the winner in that match will certainly win the champions league this season.

If they can defeat Manchester City on the field, they still have a chance. Up until the referee blows the last whistle, there is still hope. Another 1.5 weeks to wait and then the semi-finals of the CL will be on the doorstep. A lot of spectacle at the Real Madrid - Manchester City match? I suspect so. We could see 2 very boring matches in the duel between Inter Milan and AC milan, but who would come out victorious in the end? AC Milan has eliminated Napoli, which requires a strong game. Inter Milan has been able to take a much easier route on paper, but that is also part of it. I think both teams have no chance for a possible final, but it also makes a difference whether you play against Manchester City or Real Madrid. This season you can expect something different from Manchester City. Their form looks convincing at the moment even though Real Madrid are a very strong team to say they will lose before the game. I believe that Manchester City's chances of beating Real Madrid this season are good, and I think their readiness is also quite good compared to last season. Haaland is a threat to Real Madrid's defence, he has to prove that.

Modric is great and all, but midfield is a place they do not lack any talent neither. They have tchouameni, valvarde, camavinga, all that can play there along with Kroos who might be a little too old and slow these days but still amazingly talented and has been with the club for centuries so he knows how to play with his teammates. So when you combine all those four players, getting 2-3 midfieldiers out should not be an issue. Is it as good as Modric? No, but at the same time if they missed another player at another position then it would have been worse.

What if Benzema was not around? They don't have that level of talent at bench, it really does come down to how good your bench is, if you could come down to a lot of talent for midfield, then I rather have Modric missing instead.
