Real Madrid is not a team that posses games or constantly pressure their opponent every time but they were able to do both things to Chelsea, it shows how bad Chelsea was. Not like I was expecting anything different from Chelsea but this was even below my expectation. Chelsea was able to force only one good save from Courtois, and that was early on in the first half from Joao Felix.
Kepa tried his best actually. The second goal scored by Asensio shows the lack of concentration by Chelsea. They were all in and around the box but they just allowed Asensio space to shoot. The marking was poor since before the ball got to Vinicuis.
Like I've always said, you can't be a serious club that wants to win the champions league and hire Lampard as your coach. They were lucky Madrid was in that mood today, it should have been more than 2 goals.
I also think that Real Madrid actually could have scored more than 2 goals because they had a lot of chances, especially after Chelsea got a red card. Well, even though they were only able to score 2 goals, that should have been pretty good capital for the second leg match. With the conditions that Chelsea is currently facing it seems impossible for them to be able to reverse the situation because they stumbled badly. Lampard is not going to be a solution for Chelsea and their performance was not better than before.

Real Madrid played pretty well in my opinion, for Madrid's victory, which only scored 2 scores, if that's not a bad thing, we can see Real Madrid taking over the game even from the first half minutes, Chelsea's chances to score always fail and it can be said that their game was less effective than In terms of game patterns, it wasn't so difficult for Real Madrid to score the first goal in the early half through Benzema's kick, but it's true that Chelsea's game was so bad in the final minutes, it should even be easy for Real Madrid to score more than two goals.

Chelsea Vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid moved a step closer to the Champions League trophy with a 2-0 win over ten-man Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Real Madrid will be ahead with a two-goal lead before going into the field against Chelsea in the Second League. Undoubtedly, this match will add confidence to Real Madrid in the next league.

Karim Benzema was unstoppable against Chelsea in the previous season as well.  However, Vini Jr. is very close to the goal in the 21st minute.  The shot was blocked by Kepa Arrizabalaga, but the blocked shot was later sent to the post by Karim Benzema.  And in 21 minutes with the desired goal, Real Madrid took a 1-0 lead.
But Real Madrid should have fallen behind Chelsea long ago.  Because in the second minute of the match, Chelsea's number 11 player Joao Felix had a great opportunity but could not use it. Thibaut Courtois alone saved the team from conceding a goal with a great save in front of the goal post.

Chelsea were reduced to 10 men when Chelsea player B. Chilwell was sent off in the 59th minute and could not turn around against Real Madrid.  M. Asensio scored in the 74th minute of the match to ensure the victory of the team.

The second league match between Real Madrid and Chelsea will be held at Stamford Bridge Stadium on April 19.  Hopefully Chelsea will try to turn around against Real Madrid at home.

Boring results at first sight tonight. Still, Chelsea wasn't that bad. You can see that they keep getting better and better. 2-0 is certainly not a hopeless mission for Chelsea in London in 2 weeks. And AC Milan won at home, but Napoli brought this on himself by not expressing the field dominance in goals. Enough ball possession and position play, but the strikers did not shoot sharply from Napoli today. I think it's now 50-50% who goes through to the next round. But AC Milan has a lot of perspective with this 1-0 victory. Recently they already won 0-4 at Napoli, so what will it be soon in Naples? Would be a huge disappointment for Napoli if they went out against an Italian team.
Frank Lampard was in the team during the difficult era, he brought out youngsters in league games and gave them confidence that they can perform weigh better. But currently speaking, I don't know what the Chelsea pattern look like a mess. Frank Lampard is absolutely no match for Carlo Ancelotti when it comes to football. Real madrid 2 and Chelsea 0. It's very important to know the difference between the players. Manager is not the problem, here he club needs a buildup players that are serious in games, not the ones that relent on one another and got defeated.

Last night's game wasn't the best performance Real Madrid so many chances wasted, thought it would be a downfall for Chelsea when Ben Chilwell got a red card but not much has changed for Madrid when they only faced a team with 10 men, there should have been a 2-3 Another goal was created after the red card, but Madrid looked even more relaxed so they couldn't score more goals. Vinicius Jr. became one of the keys to Madrid's attack.
Ben Chilwell did that foul with hope that he can help his club to avoid a goal from Chelsea. He did know with that foul he will be sent off by a red card. Real Madrid wasted some opportunities with which they would have scored goals if their players did not play to selfishly in those situations.

With this score, Chelsea isn't over yet. If their strikers can start scoring goals in the second leg, there will be many possibilities that could happen because it's quite sad to see how Chelsea couldn't score a single goal in 4 matches domestically and last night match.
Right that with this result, Chelsea still have chance in a second leg. They will host Real Madrid and if in the past season, they could score three leading goals in Bernabeu, they can believe that they will be able to score two goals at a home stadium. Just hope but I am unsure they can do this with their recent form that is not good certainly.

AC Milan is also quite disadvantaged by only being able to win by one goal against a team playing with 10 players, Napoli's second leg will have a chance to beat Milan by more scores but will their main striker start playing next week? because Osimhen's absence has proven to reduce Napoli's productivity in scoring goals, and Napoli should have considered keeping Osimhen in the team longer because one of the players who contributed to the success this season was him.
Both teams had chances but AC Milan did it better with one goal. I don't think AC Milan played far better than Napoli in the match and they will get big challenge in a second leg. First they will have to play in Naples and second they will have to face with Napoli with Osimhen.

With Osimhen, Kravatskhelia will be more dangerous too and the combination of these attacking players will put AC Milan under more pressure. It will be a big test for AC Milan defense if they want to have semi final matches.

I don't think Real Madrid will have such a problem, we have seen recently that they have scored more goals in away games. For example, both against Barcelona and against liverpool. In these matches they scored more than 4 goals and showed that they are not afraid of playing away. It is difficult but not impossible for Chelsea to go through. I expect that Real Madrid will be the side that will pass the round and I even expect Real Madrid to win the other match.

Chelsea problem in the just played match against Real Madrid started from their coach's team selection and starting lineup, starting a game with 5 natural defenders in 3:5:2  formation made  their game lacks creativity, they were not able to create more chances nor make more clinical attempts that should have been resulted to a goal. They were waiting for a counter attack for them to score, which was not possible because real Madrid took over the game from from first half. So if they really want to Turn this match around in their home, they need to change this type of formation and pattern of game automatically to attacking game.
Agreed, chelsea should have used 4-3-3 instead of 3-5-2. Chelsea will have more space to create more chances rather than putting so many players in the mid. I don't like the way lampard was picking the player from the last match against real madrid. If lampard wanna go fully defensive against real madrid and it must be put more players at the defensive line. Chelsea's specialized was on the counter attack but the match against real madrid last night has proven if chelsea was losing its identity. Chelsea has very slow tempo compared with real madrid.

Real madrid was always coming with high pressure on chelsea. Real madrid was always trying to bombing the goalkeeper of chelsea. Lampard has been making some mistake here.
Todd is still feeling so confidence if chelsea will able to make its revenge on the stamford bridge. Chelsea needs a miracle to make it happen. I don't even like the way of lampard was using the strategy. It lacks of defensive and aggressive.

Lampard is clueless and he has not known what he has been doing. The result of the last match is very embarrassing for the club. So many players were playing individually

I expected more, bro. I assume Real Madrid will win with more than 2 goals, especially when 1 Chelsea player got a red card. But Real Madrid only can make 2 goals, no other goals anymore after Asensio added 1 goal in 2nd half. Although it is not a bad result, I think Real Madrid actually has the capability to score more goals.

The next match (2nd Leg) will be at Chelsea home (Stamford Bridge). Chelsea possibly changes their game/tactic, they should play more aggressively. Real Madrid should score 1 goal again in the first half to secure the ticket to the next round. If Chelsea can score 1 goal in the 1st half of 2nd Leg, I'm not sure Real Madrid will be easy to win the match.
Actually, Chelsea started games with good perform and huge pressure on the first minutes make Madrid difficult how to scoring goals, but Vinicius Jr make difference with his impressive performance and his contribution how the first goal from Karim Benzema happening. I expected with Real Madrid can winning more two goals exactly after Ben Chilwell got red card on 59th minutes but only one goals scored after Chelsea played with 10 players.

But enough for Madrid winning two goals for away games on next week, Madrid need more defensive for second leg and not give chance for Chelsea scoring goals on the early minutes or first half, however Madrid have comeback winning mentality what ever home or away games.

Napoli were unlucky to not get a goal. They had great chances but the finishing was lacking. They even have higher xG for the game of 1.41 while Milan had 1.17. xG basically means expected goals and it calculates the potential goals a team could score based on the quality of chances that were created. To make matters worse, Anguissa got sent off from the match and Napoli were down to 10 men for the last 15 mins, hindering their chances to get an equalizer.
That's why osimhen is really needed by napoli when it will face ac milan. It's not only happening at UCL. The same problem was also happening when napoli was facing ac milan in the continuation of serie a last week. Osimhen always became a key that was helping napoli to find the right way to win the game. That's why his contribution is a lot to the club but that's very sad to say that osimhen was not able to play two matches in a row against ac milan. his condition was making him feel upset with it. If he was not participating in the international qualified and he will still able to play at this moment along with his team mates kvarat. Osimhen was just trying to come back as soon as possible. No reason for napoli to not use osimhen in the second leg. Osimhen is quite impossible to make goals without him. It can be seen from the result in the last matches. No osimhen and no party for napoli

Chelsea did not play too bad and they at least created some opportunities from which they should have goals. However, they were lack of luckiness as well as accuracy from their shots to have goals. Facing with Real Madrid and wasting precious opportunities is like you are suicide.

Real Madrid also wasted some chances to finalize Chelsea after the first leg but with two goals at home, they will move to Stamford Bridge with many options. I believe that Real Madrid will be ready to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge too. We already how their attacking players are ready to score goals any time and Chelsea defense system simply is not good enough, not strong enough like rock.

It's a performance I expected from Real Madrid and we have to say that it was a good win. We can say that they actually won the match with the pressure they put in the first half. They played a really great first half and managed to break Chelsea's resistance in the first half. In the second half, with the red card of chillwell, chelsea was left with 10 men and we can say that their hopes started to run out. 15 minutes after the red card, chelsea conceded 1 more goal and lost 2-0.

Why do you think Real Madrid isn't in their best performance?
I think winning the match with 2 goals is good enough, Benzema also scored as usual. You may expect Real Madrid to win with more than 2 goals, right? Chelsea surely performed badly, but it doesn't mean Real Madrid automatically will defeat them with big scores. Today, I think Chelsea played more defensively, which makes Real Madrid a bit hard to score more than 2 goals.

For the 2nd leg, we don't know what will happen. Chelsea may use a different tactic and Real Madrid may be surprised by the changes. However, I don't think Chelsea is in the best form to beat Real Madrid.

Real Madrid are not in their best playing form, but they still found a way through to defeat Chelsea m I feel that Lampard got it wrong from the starting of the game with his team selection. As always Felix plays better behind a main striker and not the main striker. Haverts should have had some playing time in the game even though he has not be dependable for a while now. In the return leg in Stamford bridge, I doubt that Chelsea will be able to perform differently from what we saw. Chelsea need two important signings to make this team whole, they need a very good striker and them they need a very good coach, those two additions will make the team better than they are.

It's the same as before for Napoli and it's still lucky they didn't lose by a big score as they had before.
Napoli are still experiencing difficulties when they are in conditions where Osimhen is absent which makes the wingers and midfielders confused about where to send the ball after they attack.
They have many opportunities and indeed this is the same as their trademark in every match that has been carried out this season, it's just that when they did so without Osimhen, many opportunities were wasted which made them fail in this match and lose again to Milan in 2 different competitions.

What a pity that Napoli couldn't even draw with Milan tonight. I think the reason of this result was definitely not having Osimhen. He is really making a huge impact on Napoli this season. He has scored so many goals and played a huge role in so many dangerous attacks. While he is injured Napoli are really lacking in their attacking side. Even Kvaratskhelia can't help solving this problem now.

Milan were able to take advantage of the situation in a really good way. They got an important win before the rematch. But if Osimhen comes back until then I think Napoli would eliminate Milan anyway.

What a thrilling match it was between Real Madrid and Chelsea with every minute of the match which had everything from injuries, red cards to beutiful goals making it so much fun to watch. The white house took the lead and more confidence with  Asencio's second-half goal once he entered, which came from an excellent assist by super Vini. However the match's turning point came with Koulibaly's injury due to Rodrego's attack which stopped a dangerous counter-attack by Chelsea. Koulibaly's injury is a massive blow for the Blues who now face the hard task of defending their goal without one of their best defenders.
Chelsea players struggled to create many options when they had the ball each time, and things got worse for them with Ben Chill's red card. Even before that the match felt like Real Madrid had more players on the pitch. Chelsea coach had no choice but to switch to full defense and try to maintain the score at least with minimum damage
Overall, it was a highly entertaining match that lived up to the hype. Real Madrid put in a commendable performance, and Vinicious made the difference with two assits. Chelsea, on the other hand, faces an uphill battle in the second leg and maybe without Koulibaly and with a deficit to overcome.

Let's see what unfolds in the second leg and hope for another exciting match like this. What are your thoughts on the match?

Chelsea's performance wasn't particularly impressive. They performed so poorly to the extent that they can't hold onto the ball for seconds without Real Madrid taking it away from them. Sadly, a team like Chelsea is disorganized or unprepared to prevail in matches with the caliber of players they have.

The Champions League really has a different atmosphere. AC has once again shown its European DNA and is also a team with a long history. The victory obtained tonight was the result of hard work and a sense of optimism from the Milan players. Previously, Milan was not so favored in this match, because considering their performance in Serie A, which was still inconsistent. A 1-0 advantage is also not completely safe for the Rossoneri, but if Pioli is able to maintain the fitness of his players, Milan will be able to maintain this victory in the second leg later.

Napoli have indeed appeared superior in Serie A, but they have to admit that Milan has an extraordinary mentality. The Partenopei have lost twice to Milan. Some people claim that Napoli's defeat was due to Osimhen's absence. Spalletti should have learned a valuable lesson from the 4-0 defeat and immediately looked for alternatives when he appeared in the Champions League tonight. But again Napoli had to give up on Milan. Dependence on one figure in a team is very dangerous and causes the whole team to shake.

Napoli played an impressive game against AC Milan at Milan home. They possessed the game more than AC Milan, they created more chances than AC Milan, they played more ball on target more than AC Milan but were not able to covert a goal due to absence of their top Stricker Victor Osimhen. If they play with this same spirit in their returning leg at their home, I am predicting that Napoli will qualify for semi finals because they will be able to convert more opportunities and score more goal with Osimhen in their home in the second leg
